I had high hopes for the RPK as it's the LMG variant of one of XDefiant's strongest assault rifles, the AK-47, but just how good is it? / itemp2 / itempp
what i’d recommend is start with BASE SENSITIVITY in the range. when you find a spot where you can place the dot on your screen on targets and track while moving and also high enough to turn and react. from there change your ads sense and don’t forget your dead zone can make the exact same sensitivity feel more or less responsive if you want to keep a speed but compensate for human error(over or under compensation via sticks or mouse)
LOL I am 51 and find the game fun and not too tough. Usually top 3-4 in the lobby but sometimes less. Hang in there, know it is not COD and change up the style a little.
Watching your gameplay just reinforces the fact that I need to boot camp my recoil control and walk/sprint control. Annoying because I had these skills 20 years ago and lost them somewhere along the way
Very nice gameplay! That 5 second respawn countdown on escort is driving me nuts every time. But it's great to see that I'm not the only one spamming square button knowing it doesn't change anything 😂
I've had really great success with this gun even against smgs. I didn't pay it much attention at first but it's been my go to these last couple of days.
Not only Xdefiant feels like the old days, but now I watch gameplays of it like the old days and try to learn from it like the old days. I'm loving the feeling. Only sad part is I can't play the game like the old cods, because the game is blocked here in Iran and the ping goes through the roof with a VPN. So my learnings cannot really be put to the test since everybody teleports all over the place.

You can mod is fully for sprint to shoot and speed and its still a laser they will probably change it but you can do it with most guns right now i have a couple where the accuracy says its all the way down but they are still lasers in game
I love hoe when I play everyone is faster than lightning but when I watch videos people are always completely unaware and moving in slow motion. Guess playing with 70 ping and 65 FPS isn't that great after all 👀
I just played 4 matches in a row with everyone bunny hopping, skill spamming, and absolutely melting everyone. The exact sweaty crap I don't want. I feel ya.

The difficulty with escort or zone control is, it is a crap shoot on what type of teammates you get or who you play against. If your teammates suck, good luck getting the first zone or to the first zone against a decent team.
No, I bet I went to the RBK right away as soon as I locked it cause I like LFG so maybe I hadn’t got the feel for this game but as soon as I started trying to unlock mine, which is what I’m doing now just burning through guns, unlocking all the mods and I’m on the MX and since I switch to that MX if you look at your profile, you can see your performance for the last 10 games you’re your skill assessment. Mine went up nearly 20% since I switched and started exclusively using down 60 damn 60 is the beast or just figured out the style which is to keep my distance and try to take all my fights at range if somebody gets close switch to 93 hour Spam bullets unless they catch me off guard but generally, I’m trying to stay at range. I’m free firing around corners in 88 and crossing the corner free firing and I get so many multi kills now. I have a good match. It’s mostly multi kill and I treasure when I go around the corner, I’m shooting at somebody I keep shooting even once they die and then their buddy runs right in the line of fire and dies and and so on and so bored, LG are underrated in this game. I think mostly because it’s you know those young high hand eye coordination, good eyesight good reaction team guy they want building for speed and SMG or assault rifle and pretty popping around the maps. Well you know they try hard and be honest they’re still always going to come out on top, but those can turn out mediocre player up a notch now if I could just get my KD above one

Gun do really impact your movement speed when you’re sharing an LG any OMG you’re just that much slower than you would be with it’s all rifle. Do you have to modify your style?
@TheRazoric the rpd is basically a belt fed 47 that fires the 7.62 round so lmg's exist in both calibers. But yeah, high speed small caliber bullets are devastating on soft targets. Speed kills.

Call and the first five or six bullets to have any of that down the gunfight. The only thing you’re going to get out of it is if you start in the body, you’re going to walk the gun up to the head and bam and her dad I mean, that’s my experience with the long range specially because obviously geometry, you know… The little bit of recoil that you’re seeing is way more significant than that range so You just a game don’t worry about what you’re shooting with the LG and the gun walk right up to headshot and they’re dead before the recall gets so vicious that it matters what you try to play you’re gonna lose out because no matter what you put on the gun, you cannot get the ADS speed you cannot get the 880 walking speed. I mean, you can put the mods on but no matter how your mom are gonna walkstray as fast as an assault rifle or SMG just like a rival straight as fast as an SMG straight as fast as either of them so you can’t try to beat in that arena

You can make 99% of weapon loadouts work if you focus on aim and strafing.
Games like that last game is why I don’t play shooters on my own and haven’t since Black Ops 3.
All smgs are superior in this game. Rpk supposed to hit hard but the fire rate slow so smgs can get there 6 out before rpk can get it's 4 out
if u can group and then go to the package it becomes eazy goingg one by one is pretty hard

RPK is a variant of the AK-74, not 47. They fire two different calibers
