Even when visiting Artemis and Apollo's temples you can feel the youthful, fresh, healing energy. Last time I went to Artemis's temple there were so many birds flying around and sitting on the columns instead of the trees it was so wholesome and refreshing (there were also hyacinth flowers growing around there - sibling support energy). As a Greek person living in greece I feel so lucky that I get to visit so many temples whenever I want
i've been working with Apollo for a few years, he's the first deity i ever made contact w/ and i consider him my patron. something that i've learned abt him is that when u ask for something he's really....... in your face, lmao i remember getting in my mother's car one morning and thinking "hey if ur there give me a sign" not actually expecting anything, then my mom turns the radio on and the first words i hear from the song playing are literally "the sun" and so i was sitting there like 👁👄👁 but yeah, working with him has been great and i love every second of it.
I have a friend who I would do readings for (if u see this, hi, ily) who worked with the pair and I had never worked with them before. I wholeheartedly agree that he is in your face. I love Apollo so much lol. my interactions with them for readings made me want to worship and work with them.
ME 2 NIGHTS AGO!! i pulled the chariot and 2 other cars with the sun and i was like “HMM OKAY CAN I GET ANOTHER SIGN” and the sun card flew out of my deck while i was shuffling
Music means everything to me and that's something Apollo I just vibe with him on that deep level cause we have that same passion for music Artemis on the other hand we've never really vibed at all.
I've noticed the same thing! I've been struggling with loneliness and it was especially bad the day prior, then today I went strawberry picking and the place was really picked over, but I filled 3 buckets when my family could hardly find any, and since the harvest is one of the things he's the god of I thanked him for it aloud. Keep it mind it had been overcast the past week and was supposed to stay that way- the clouds cleared so the sun could shine for a couple minutes, right after I thanked him. Then my family was dumping on pagans (they don't know about me) so he sent a crow to remind me he's there. I love that he kept reminding me I'm not alone since it was really bad yesterday :)
ohhh they’re a great team to work with! Artemis is my patroness and i do work with Apollo too because of her. i feel they’re veeeery multifaceted beings like Artemis can have a big sis energy who will take care of you but she also have a very warrior and aggressive side, while Apollo is a literal golden retriever who falls madly in love with anyone but will bring a light to all your deepest traumas so you can heal them. Artemis is pretty picky when it comes to her devotees, but Apollo is way more easy going haha
I have a completely different feeling when it comes to Apollo. Sure he is bubbly and a bit more like "sunshine", but he is very much the "everything revolves around me" type energy. Apollo to me is more of the professor who you spend your lunches with so you can learn as much as you can while enjoying what you're learning because he MAKES it enjoyable kind of energy. I tried reaching out to Artemis and to me it felt like I was getting a cold shoulder. She wanted nothing to do with me, so insted of forcing it and making it a pair based off of them being twins, I stuck with just working with Apollo. Over a year later and him and I are still working strong together and she hasn't once tried to ring in my ear. Not sure why, but I respect it none the less. Regardless of any feeling I get about them, I still remember, these are Deities we are working with, and referring to a sun God as a dog, just doesn't sit right or feel right.
personally, yes i do worship the hellenic pantheon because of percy jackson. the series opened the world of greek mythology for me when i was young, but i don't use it as a source of information. the series will always be near and dear to my heart, not for the potrayal of the gods, but for what it showed me, and taught me as an extremely introverted middle schooler
...and that's okay. That's your entry point into witchcraft. It's different for everyone. For me it was a series of books by Marion Zimmerman Bradley. Blessed be, sister.
Percy Jackson was just another way for me to exercise my endless mythology obsession as a kid. And here I am now, with deity work being the literal driving force of my craft😂
Just as long as you understand that the works of Rick Riordan really aren't the best for trying to understand the Gods. His takes on Them are pretty much caricatures based on pop culture and even the author himself has publicly stated he does not think people should worship the Gods. It's fine to enjoy something but if you want to grow in your devotion you'll have to learn to be critical of how the media portrays our Gods
As a musician, Apollo LOVES musical offerings. I’m currently composing a string sonata for him, but even practicing my instruments everyday is in dedication to him. I’ve struggled to find offerings I think Artemis truly loves but I used to work at a wildlife sanctuary so unfortunately if an animal died, I was able to bring bones/remains home for her altar. I’ve had the best reaction to a badger jar bone, deer antlers and figs from my fig tree xoxo
@@anastasiajoyce Y'all give money to Christ tho. I grew up Christian, you ALWAYS have to put money in the *offering* basket and it's supposed to go towards improving the church which is the Lord's place of worship. I get that mamy Christians believe in one God but you don't get to tell someone they don't have to give a musical offering when you have to give money offering. Telling people what they can or can't do for their god or goddess that you don't believe in is *not* productive. No one is going to appreciate Jesus Christ love and you're certainly not gonna have anyone converting to Christianity and you're not "saving" any souls. I know the person you commented to most likely doesn't care about what you said, I just wanna let you know how silly you are.
i promised him id play guitar for him once i got one and then forgot and procrastinated learning to play....and now my guitars broken.... like the strings snapped...
Apollo is one of my patron gods! Apollo came into my life when I was really struggling with my self care, and self image. He helped me come to terms with a lot of boundaries, and always helped me see the light in situations where I would struggle. I’m so glad that he was such a positive force in your life ❤️
There’s just so much beauty in doing things in honour of Hellenistic gods. Like going outside and staying in the sun in honour of Apollo gives the act a rlly nice sense of purpose in my opinion.
That's what I did in the psych ward. The first time I had gone out in days, I did a silent prayer dedicating my time there to him. I saw a hawk right before, so I think he liked it.
@@thescarletlady funny you say that bc a long time ago I was getting into Hellenism as asked Apollo to send me a sign if he wanted to work with me; when I ended up in the hospital I was spooked bc the first book I saw had a main character with the name Apollo. Wild stuff lmao.
Apollo and Artemis are my joint patrons. Apollo is a trip. He has a wicked sense of humor. Artemis is one awesome protector. Momma Bear when pissed off. Apollo...... don't tell him you're going to do something creative and not follow through..... that annoys him. He loves the tarot.
There isn't a moment in my life when I don't remember Apollo being there. Literally... My name is Loren when my parents had planned something completely different (Ryan. They wanted to name me Ryan?!). Music and writing are the only reason I survived my childhood. He literally gave me life in the form of writing music. Artemis didn't come around until I moved to Colorado about six months ago. (I always honored her but never really worked with her). She is definitely more straightforward and I am still trying to figure out our relationship.
i mean even if you did got into greek mythology because of percy jackson... what would even be wrong with that? i was a very enthusiastic percy jackson kid and now at age 20 i worship/work with persephone and am thinking of saying hi to hades soon... nothing wrong with that, percy jackson definitely got me into paganism/greek gods, at age 13 i was already thinking in my head what gods i was going to make little temples to leave offerings for
@@afreakaboucher1316 kinda new to this so grain of salt but it’s been a month so I’m gonna try to answer with my limited knowledge (if I am wrong someone PLEASE correct me) but I think worship is more like. That’s your religion, you worship the deity because you believe in that deity and believe they are worthy of worship. Whereas, working with a deity is a little bit more of a working relationship where you mutually help each other. In both you establish kharis (basically reciprocal acts of like helping each other out?? like buying flowers for your spouse) and help eachother but I think it’s just the dynamic and a little bit the intentions (in neither should the deity be like treated as a vending machine, as some people misunderstand when they learn about kharis, of course) (also I think you can still worship a deity because you know they might be able to help you, but it’s not like a professional working relationship, you’re worshipping them.) does that make any sense?
I'm a very VERY new witch (if I can even call myself that at this point), but Artemis (and Apollo as well, I'm not sure yet) came to me almost right away. And I remember reading about her and going 'yes, YES, this just feels so right on so many levels'. She covers a lot of topics I'm struggling with at the moment, esp. in regards of self-discovery and sexuality. And after reading up about her I had the urge to build a little altar and would you know it. I'd always had this little statue of a goddess standing around that I picked up I don't know when at a thrift shop probably. Never knew who she was until I looked at the bottom and don't you know it, it was Artemis. She's really small and fits perfectly in my hand and every time I hold her it feels very warm and comforting. A few days later I walked past a little swap meet we have in the house of my work place and there was this gorgeous ceramic deer haed that just screamed at me to be taken home. It resides on the altar as well. In that time frame I also had a few experienced with bees that I rescued and safely put outside and just random stuff like that. I haven't yet actively worked with her and Apollo, as I think I might not be ready yet, but I'm building up to it. I just find it really really exciting connecting all those loose dots and seemingly random happenings. So satisfying 😊
@@AlexVinder Well, I have a couple of theories but I can only speculate. The younger generations are waking up to magick again, the age of Aquarius coming on means that the Abrahamic institutions that control the world will dig their claws in deeper before any progress is made. I think the old gods are waking up and they want us to fight back, either through offensive magick or healing/protection/strengthening. And here witchtok is full of novices hexing each other when we should be working toward actually making the world better. Not just with magick but direct action. That's just my opinion though. Artemis is a warrior. I've seen a lot of devotees to Freyja and Loki also recently, as well as the Morrigan and Hecate. Pretty much all fighters for the oppressed. So that's my two cents.
I worked with Apollo for around 5 months and his energy never felt overwhelming, but definitely a strong energy. He was a bit more strict with me, compared to hearing other people's experiences. He focused a lot on me speaking my mind and using my voice/being more confident and I've became such a stronger person as a result of working with him 🥰🌞
[Working w/ Apollo] I literally reached out to him as kind of like a last ditch effort because I hopped on a bandwagon of "I'M DYING AND DON'T WANT THAT" and he slowly started to show himself in my life doing things like peaking my interest in music and rekindling my passion for art. To be honest I don't think I'd really be who I am without him, now he's a patron and a deity I know will not leave. :)
The day after I started working with Artemis I was out of the blue reminded by my brain of a deeply buried traumatic memory where my brother SA’d me and I was like: okay I guess this is how this is gonna be.
Apollo was definitely like “hey girl 😎” during a reading 😆 just fun chill energy but also big brother healing vibes and I literally just started working with him and this video came up lol great timing. Thank you for sharing 🌞
I've worked with Apollo before I started working as a Call Center Agent. He was the best hype-man ever. Because of him I was able to discover myself more, became more creative, energetic and I loved being under the sun. I remember having the urge to paint him on how I visualized him, and I lit him a candle right after that, damn flame was dancing a lot.
There was ONE time I meditated and channeled Apollo, before doing a tarot reading where I basically asked Him "What are you like, as a deity, and what do you want me to know about myself?" And what I got (and other people may likely have felt something else,) was a very supportive, though sporty, "Older Brother" type energy. He seems very enthusiastic, very "Come on, bro, you go this," type of energy. At least just for me. I imagine he seems different to different people. But he felt to me a VERY "Big Brother" type of god, who also has a subtle undercurrent of sexuality, if that's the energy you require from him. Having said that, Brigid is my Patron Goddess, and Apollo is my Patron God. BOTH of whom are in charge of poetry and inspiration and creativity.
What's it like when a deity leaves? Is there a goodbye of some kind or do they just stop responding? Can't wait for your Cernunnos video! I've heard so much about him being a lot of people's first deity, myself included, which is fascinating. I tried to look up Luciferos but didn't get much for useful information on mobile.
i work with Apollo and Athena and I find that they also balance each other out nicely. Athena is way more stern and Apollo it much more goofy, they are literally my dynamic duo haha
Apollo is one of my patrons. He’s amazing to work with and so encouraging and such a breathe of fresh air sometimes. His perspective on life is so fun to watch unfold in my journey. He’s definitely a very youthful spirit to have around. ❤️
I am a new hellenist and I worship mainly Apollo. I saw a lot of comments using feelings such as "talking to" or "hearing him" and some people telling that he had "a wicked kind of humour" but do you hear him, do you have conversations with him ? How exactly do you contact him ? Is it sensations or really hearing him/seeing him ?
@@blinkytea5429 I find that it’s different from devotee to devotee and honestly according to how Apollo wants to communicate. Sometimes I get sent messages through signs, sometimes I can hear him, sometimes he shows himself (my experience that’s been rare but it happens), other times there’s been like a gut feeling or sensory feeling that comes over you that you just know is him speaking to you. And there is always tarot cards, pendulums, and other forms of divination that he also uses for confirmation of communication as well. It comes with time and you will learn his preferred methods for you as you learn him. Best of luck!
For me Artemis and Apollo also really balance each other out, they actually came to me as a pair, I was anxious about another Deity who I had been seeing signs for for me Artemis and Apollo have always proved me with comfort reading their myths and they came to me when I was meditating trying to reach out
I love this video. I love how Artemis & Apollo come to you, she comes to me as an youthful women but with a very young engery. I enjoy hearing other people's experiences with them and comparing and contrasting the realtionships. Thank you for the great upload!
I learned how to make honey cake because of them and now it’s one of my most made recipes. I don’t work with them anymore, Artemis left at the beginning of this summer and Apollo left right before Pyanopsia (his holiday in October). They were the first two deities I started to work with, after my familial patron, but that was by less than a month. They were here for a good 6-9 months for pathwork and I noticed a lot of the same things. I would often find honey bees on my car and window while working with them and I bought Apollo some Amber. I didn’t have any tarot decks for them at the time, I wasn’t super interested in tarot, but they did have their own pendulums and I bought them fresh flowers pretty regularly. It was difficult for me to let them go, especially since Apollo especially was so important for such a long time and I’d never had any deities leave other than Artemis at the time. But it was such a wonderful experience, I sat on our porch to watch the sun rise almost every day with a cup of peach tea that summer.
I've been working with the goddess Selene, which has been great! She's definitely a more patient deity lol cause I struggle sometimes. But I also work with horses and since horses are one of the sacred animals for her, I feed one a treat when I can as an offering, alone with wearing her symbol everyday. I'm also looking into the Irish deities but it's been hard to find much
I wrote a song about Apollo specifically about hyacinthus and him and oh my have I felt called to work with him like ever since then I have felt so inspired
Apollo has just recently yeeted himself into my life in the most random ways, to the point where so not well known symbols of his have shown up in places where they typically don’t. I had already been worshipping, not fully working with, Artemis so now I’m like ‘uh oh. It’s time to put in The Work.’
artemis and apollo are two of the best presences in my life. they’ve been with me for about a year (a little less for apollo) and your descriptions of them are very accurate 😂
artemis picked me up as a brand new witch and guided me into my journey and i’ve never had an evolution so quick. very much so connecting with nature more than before. and apollo truly is just such good energy constantly. very feminine masculine he’s a great one for a gender crisis 😅
i've always thought of artemis as one of the aspects of diana, mainly because when diana first came to me i thought she was artemis and had to do a ton of research to understand. also apollo's energy as you spoke of him became really really warm, he says hi!
Artemis and Apollo have been the main deities for a while now. IT started with Artemis and about a year later I was trying to get inspiration when Apollo showed up basically in the "paint me like your french girls" pose and was was like "let's do art!".
it’s great to get more perspectives on deity work. Especially how dynamics between people and a particular deity differs for each individual. always glad to see your vids, Frankie!
Idk why i feel like crying... I felt like realizing this that artemis have always been visiting me and helping me with all my struggles. I get that nostalgic feeling and realization that she was there for me, helping me become who i am.. And realizing that she answered my call of help during my darkest time and i do sometimes feel like someone will encourages me to have a good time and have fun and maybe that might have been Apollo... But maybe he didn't really came close to me because the thing I was dealing with was traumatic...
As someone who is currently working with Apollo I really appreciate this video. New subscriber here as well, love everything I’ve been watching so far. Peace and blessings.
Apollon came to me first out of all gods, I basically started my path with him! He's very understanding o fthe fact that I have trouble with physical offerings and likes devotional acts instead. I also came to find he is my patron and i'm dedicating my studies to him. He's really great and honestly gives the best hugs in meditation along with Hypnos :) due to mundane responsibilities I have a hard time incorporating time in my week to actively work on their lessons (I work with Hestia and Hypnos too) does anyone have tips for that?
if youre still struggling with time, my suggestion would be give a day to each deity, and then during that day, do stuff for them, and its not like you cant give them stuff on different days, just make a point of worshiping/ working with them on those days :) i worship apollon and hestia as well, and i give sundays to apollon and thursdays to hestia. thats the easiest way for me, so it might help a little :)
Thanks, Frankie, for another great video. How did you “know” it was Artemis and Appollo vs. others goddesses and gods? Did they introduce themselves to you? I’m very curious about deities.
OMG I really appreciated this. Thank you for sharing, it was a delightful listen and reflection. I worked with them once, too, and sometimes still get visited. When I was 14, I started my practice, pretty secretively, and the first deities to come in were Artemis and Apollo (and I agree, they are kind of a packaged deal and very "youthful" energies). I didn't know about Artemis having themes of sovereignty but that should have been a no-brainer. More on that in a second. When they were very present in my life, Artemis was someone I was drawing strength from because, sadly, at that time I was being abused s*****ly; she was kind of that role model to get back up and not let a man crush my spirit. Apollo came in secondly, very flirtatious energy, but was reminding me to hold on to the things that brought me light, art, sunlight, theater, etc. Here is where I found this interesting and you sparked a revelation in me. I've been on my healing journey for about 3 years now, and decided this year I was coming back to my practices... and have recently started devotions to the Morrigan... another goddess themed with sovereignty, amongst other things more commonly known. Devotion is a big thing for her, in our relationship. My revelation is, how interesting it is that my younger self worked with TWINS being the cycle of light and dark, day and night, had my practice "die" and "reborn" to work with goddess whom requires devotion and deep truth seeking (my south node is Gemini, north node being Sag... like my brain right now!!!) Do you feel like any of your deity work reflects in your astral charts, per chance? For anyone who likes connecting those dots?
Love your content! I’ve been following the Luciferian archetype for awhile now and would be curious as to what your experience has been with Luciferos particularly and any type of additional resources you may have with Luciferos specifically.
Ohhh it’s interesting you said Apollo would like coffee because I offered him a a white chocolate mocha a few times and each time I got the impression from him that he was at the very least fine with it being offered to him
Good to know that they have the tendency to come as a pair (or at least appreciate having spaces for each other if you only work with one of them). I haven’t felt ready for deity worship/work yet in my practice but always felt that the three I knew I wanted to work with were Hades, Persephone, and Apollo. As an archer, I’ve already on occasion poured out tea for Apollo before a tournament for good luck and if I do I tend to do better than if I didn’t. Offerings have always concerned me because I feel like I don’t know how to do them right, but I feel like dedicating my archery practices to Apollo would be a good start. It was great to hear about your experiences with them!
I’ve been working with Apollo for 5 months now, and Artemis 4 months. At first I decided I was gonna work with Hestia which didn’t go very well, it lasted 3 days, it didn’t work out cause I still had a lot of things to work on with myself so I took like a break, and then after that break Apollo abruptly came in when I was tryna contact Hestia 💀, and a month after, Artemis came in and I’ve been working with them both since
I was doing tarot while watching this because I've seen a lot of symbols of apollo recently. and immediately felt a card I needed to pull, it ended up being the sun. Dang.
I've been getting signs that a sun god is reaching out for a while now. The other day when driving to work I saw hyacinth flowers and knew immediately which deity has been reaching out. Thank you for sharing your experience ❤️
Okay so im VERY baby witch. But through the latest year or so when discovering more and more, i never really felt comfortable with deities. However, last year i struggled SO BAD with my violin. It was like an 8 year relationship was breaking and i felt anxious by the thought of playing. I hated picking it up and would cry almost every time and it hurt so bad. But now 11th gradr started and i picked up my violin. And it felt awesome! I felt like i could play and i practice almost everyday. But heres the thing: along with this has also come the feeling of apollo CONSTANTLY being on my mind. And its like everything tells me to contact him but i havent yet bc i know too little about deities. All of a sudden i dont get uncomfortable by the thought of working with a diety but idk what to do- im very much a closeted witch so idk how to keep a contact and have a respectful alter without my family discovering it
Ello. Another closeted witch here O^O been practicing for almost 2 years. Thats nice about the violin first of all, glad ur getting back into it! If you feel as though Apollo may be reaching out to you then I suggest just researching his myths. The myths are a really good place to just kind of learn about a certain deity. After that you can move onto more detailed information, what offerings do they like, how were they worshiped in Ancient Greece, what herbs are associated with them, etc. A lot of witches say beginners shouldn't work with deities but its honestly up to you. Just stay safe and do your research y'know. After that and when u feel comfy, start reaching out to him. Through pendulum, tarot, etc. Do confirmation that its him. For a respectful alter space, usually deities can understand if ur in the closet and all, but maybe get a shoe box and decorate it with stuff he might like. There ya go! Hope this helped!
When artemis came into my life I was having relationship problems family problems and mental problems the whole thing and through work with her I've worked with boundaries and my Sexuality and it's been very hard work but it's always felt like she was always that support in the room like needing your mom to get a shot she made me do the work on my own but gave me the support and safety to feel confident
Apollo says hes my patron and we be vibing together he kinda helps with some of that hatred of the christian god and also the desire to be loved in a platonic way :3
How formal do you have to be with deities? Like for me it's either "I call upon the radiant one, reigning master of the sun, the holy archer, and request his prescence now." Or, "Hey Apollo, can I talk to you for a minute? How have you been?" Like???? Help????
Apollo used to be my main god since I discovered hellenism at the sweet age of 6 years old. Back then I didn't understand the difference between mythology and religion. I read a book about Greek history and in religion it was 1 page with 4 or 5 sentences speaking how religion was formed. How in the beginning Greeks used to pray to natural elements and later on those elements changed into Gods. And then there was a list with a few gods, their symbols, animal and and god of what their were. Just a few olympians. After that I read the dictionary for each name. And I started thinking Apollo (and Hades too) was my friend and kind of an angel for me. Growing up I still believed in the Greek gods, which made everyone around me angry cause I supposed to be christian just like everyone else, obviously. Now I am 37, and Hestia is the goddess that seems to be more present in my life, but I still have my Apollo statue ( it costed me like 2,50 euros in a tourist shop in the Greek island I live now) I painted it golden using nail polish. (I think he liked it that cause I had a lot good fortune just after I painted it) And the offerings he likes I think is music in general, singing and dancing, or putting his statue in front of the monitor while playing loudly an EXO (kpop boy group, very talented, extreme good looking guys, that tend to dance in leather trousers in water) concert. I wish I knew how to set a proper altar for Hestia. I can't find anywhere her statue and I can't make a fireplace or hearth in the place I live. Nor I know what offerings to give her.
I regard the Romans and Greeks VERY separately to show respect, but I would like to hear about you and your experience and reasonings with Diana and Artemis separation
@@ris8065 yeah, and the Romans if I recall Correctly really did care much for Minerva, she was minor for them and they stole the Athena Parthenos, but I could be misremembering
@@StarrTheWitch Minerva is much of a combination between Menvra and Pallos Athena. She’s almost a meeting point between the two mythology. She was thought of quite highly before the Hellenic merge, but wasn’t like an Olympian by any means. She was mostly just centered around being a goddess of handicraft and personal protection. Like Minerva is a weather deity while Athena isn’t really. . The war stuff came from Athena. Though I’m pretty sure the original tale of Arachne came from the Romans, not the Greeks, and the woman’s name was changed to Arachne when it was integrated into Athena’s mythology.
@@ris8065 I believed the Arachne story was originally Greek but the Romans changed it, originally it was that she destroyed the Weaving because, while beautiful, it was displaying multiple times her father Zeus and Uncle Poseidon doing the deed with mortal women, often times as a animal, which did not sit well with the Goddess who really didn’t have any sexual relations that I am aware, not even gay ones! And then turned her into a spider after Archne hung herself she turned her into a spider to save her more or less, and the Romans turned it more into a spite thing, again, I could be wrong
I consider Artemis as my patron goddess! She and Poseidon (my patron god) were the first ones I really considered working with and they help me a lot in my path. Artemis is helping me stand for myself and improve my feminine power and though most of the time people think she is pretty cold and strict she is actually someone great to work with and always is there for me! And lately, I have been feeling Apollo's vibes his light and arts (I am a very passionate writer and an artist), crows and even once was in my dream. It's been a quite hard period of my life so I think he is here to help me with self-care, help me heal and find "my colour and light" again for which I am very grateful.
When I was first doing a reading, I asked if any deities were contacting me, it said yes, long story short I pulled the empress card, then you said it was Diana, I remember thinking it was Diana, so I just asked if she wanted to work with me, and she said yes but not right now, thank you for that!
apollo had reached out to me b4 and i’d dint think much of it and recently artemis has reached out to me . i made like really direct contact with artemis , i saw deers while doing tarot with my friend :) and then the night day apollo reached out to me . and then the next day i had the urge to go into a store and saw stone bust of both of them and was like “OKAY WERE DOING THIS !!”
I work with both Artemis and Apollo and bro it is the best. The first time i had to replace their 7-day candles, Artemis had gotten the new one first and she made the flame really like bouncy and was laughing at Apollo like "haha gotta suck to be so damn S H O R T AHAHAHAHAHAHA"(their alters are side by side) But other times she has like a more huntress vibe, like a "dont do anything stupid" vibe. Once i felt a negative entity enter my house and I went out to bedazzle it(aka fling it out) and i forgot to set up a shield around me and I ended up the one getting bedazzled, and i ran back into my room where Artemis's candle was lit and she says "word of advice, dont do anything I would consider dumb. that was pretty dumb, in case u didnt get it". then i zoned out and played music and after a while i remembered about the entity, and she was just like "i got rid of it, watcha thinking about?". Apollo is like "im hot, segcy, faboulous, amazing, gorgous" and also like will cry with u about ur deepest traumas. with him, my experiences are like "u cant focus on hw? have u done ur self care? yeah no, go do ur self care then i will allow u to foc- i mean u will probobly be able to focus after" or him randomly blaring songs that make me happy or give me gender envy. if I had to describe their relationship, and this is from a reddit meme, it would be like *artemis struggling to walk in 2 inch heels* and then *apollo walking flawlessly and gracefully with one hand on his hip and the other hes inspecting his nails* and him yelling "HA! weak!" and laughing but in a nice way, not like a "we enemys way" but like two sibilings making fun of each other, which is adds up considering they r sibilings, twins even. but artemis is very picky about ppl, and very protective of those she does like. apollo is more so open to anyone, well not anyone, but he is less picky. he has three moods, sunflower vol 6 by harry styles, being hot, and sobbing over his lovers. artemis is def very independent and helps me a lot with that, and figuring out who i am, and what i like and stuff. apollo literally is always down to give advice, like during dance classes hes the one who tells me what im doing wrong with my technique so i can balance or turn better and same with art.
For me it was in April of 2019 That I was initiated and made a Priest of Artemis by Artemis herself in a Dream and She accepted me and her Hunters accepted me as well I am a High Priest of Artemis And I do constant Full embodied channeling all the time Today is the Feast of Artemis and I just did an elaborate offering at a three way crossroad at Noon
I usually only work with Norse deities and was totally shocked to just do a ‘meet your deity’ guided meditation and have Apollo show up 🥰❤️ he was gorgeous! He had a red toga type thing on and when I looked down he had changed my clothes into a light blue Grecian gown thing with golden sandals and he handed me a light pink carnation flower and told me that he just wanted me to know that he’s around, I have no clue what that is all about as lately I’ve been getting signs from Hel daily for weeks, so I was hoping she might clarify what she wants but nope, this was totally random and I was hoping to shed some light on it through your video 🥰❤️❤️❤️ I’m just waiting for your book to arrive in the post too as I’ve only just got round to buying it 🤦♀️ so I’m excited for that! I’ve heard very good things from Bente the Norse witch about it 🥰❤️❤️❤️❤️xxxxx
After reading the comments here 😳😳😳WOW!!! I wonder if he’s appeared to me now because I’m currently trying to do shadow work with Hel and I’m going through my most traumatic memories (sa related hideousness) and trying to write about all that stuff and finally get closure so I wonder if it’s to balance all that out with a more fun energy? Weirdly I wrote down after the meditation that he was a good looking and strong man but I didn’t feel threatened at all by him, he had a funny, sexy type energy to him but I felt totally safe and I also felt there may be someone else lurking in the background that I didn’t see at all, so him being a twin makes sense now! I’m going to go and study his myths now 🥰❤️❤️❤️xxxx
If you have any experiences with the Infernal Lucifer, or Loki- I'd love to hear those! Loki's my patron, I always love to see others experiences. Loved this video, been feeling a bit called to Artemis lately, really been getting a LOT about her on everything. MIGHT try reaching out, so thank you for this.
I've been working with Apollo for a little over a year now. He was the only one to approach me, not really so much his sister. I had just started a new relationship a few month prior and wasn't at all looking to work with deities at the time. He's now become a very big part od my practice and he has his devoted Alter set up. I hadn't thought of offering coffee before, so ill definatly try that and see what he thinks, I would assume it will go over rather well since coffee is a big part of my own morning. I would love to hear more about Hades and your partnership with him and how he helps with protection. I had never though of posing a partnership with a deity before. How did that start, why did you pick Hades specifically? P.s. LOVE YOUR HAIR CUT!!!!!!!!!
I’ve just started worshiping Apollo and researching him and I love it, though I need to figure out how to distinguish between a sign and just a random crow lol
Apollo: "Hey buddy, get up, lets dance" Meanwhile Artemis in the corner: "You cant dance." BWAHAHAHHAHA that made my fcking day. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT.
I havent worked with Artemis or Apollo but i work with Aphrodite, and let me tell you i resonated with what you said aout Apollos self care because i feel the same, she always lifts me up and reminds me to self care, and even "put a song and dance" hahahah
Ah...I remember years ago when I think I had first turned 18, both of them kinda smacked me in the face(in a good way) with realising it was THEM guiding me. Before I turned 18 I had always thought it was Athena. But I began to realise I only thought Athena simply because I was expected to be hugely intelligent and perfect(golden child burnout anyone?). But I had been debating for months until I read about both of them and it finally hit me. Since I loved animals and music since I was pretty much a toddler(and for those that love astrology, I have alot of air in my chart). It felt nice to finally feel truely connected to something based on my entire life.
Lol, everyone out here getting into Hellenism via PJO and I got into it through the “The Cult of Dionysus” song lmfaoo I heard it and started researching Dionysus and then I dipped my toes into Hellenism from there.
So I have decided I'm going to really truly try to start my path into paganism and witchcraft so I got a tarot deck and started off with basic daily readings and eventually decided to ask after cleansing and making sure it was a good time to do a reading a got what seemed like a yes but I wanted to be sure since I found it odd that 3 of four cards were cups and I had recently divided the cards by major and minor acarna and each of the suits so I waited a bit cleansed and shuffled and it was still a resounding yes so here i am
Buckle up ya'll, because I accidentally turned this into a novel: I started worshiping Apollo, along with Athena, when I was in high school. Then, because of trauma that I don't want to go into, I fell into a really deep and dark depression for nearly a decade, which caused me to stop with any and all religion for several years. I got back on my ADHD meds soon after the pandemic happened (I stopped them in middle school because I was a stupid little shit.) After that happened... It was like the world came back to life. It didn't actually. That was just me lying to myself, and trying to avoid actually acknowledging that trauma as Trauma. But that was honestly the whole lesson Apollo taught me over the course of about two years. Now onto how it happened, and all that fun shiz, and his eventual leaving. I had never been good at math. It wasn't that I couldn't do it- it was that I couldn't focus on it long enough to actually comprehend and understand the material. But then I decided to challenge that belief a few months before I restarted my ADHD meds and rediscovered my spiritual side, because I was working a night shift care-giving job and I was bored out of my mind. Also because I was writing a fanfiction and I needed to learn some chemistry and physics for a particular story line. But that's another story entirely. So that was how I learned that I could actually do math. And that I fucking loved it. Fast forward to March 2020 when I restarted my meds. Within a month or two I also rediscovered my spirituality that I almost lost, because I couldn't focus or concentrate on the world around me long enough to actually make sense of that side of myself... though the Trauma also led into this, but I was still avoiding all that business at this time. I just wanted to blame it all on my ADHD. Because ever since being diagnosed with ADHD, everything had always been my ADHD. During the time I was working with him he helped me be better at my job, and find a sense of purpose from it that I didn't have before. He helped me get the drive I had in high school back, and find a passion for a subject that I thought was completely out of reach- everyone knows about his association with music and the arts, but a lot of people forget about him being tied to mathematics as well. Like I said in the beginning- working with him didn't stop the depression that just permeated *every* inch of my life. I thought it had left, but then it just kept coming back around. For a while therapy wasn't an option, then when it was it became a matter of just... sheer terror of confronting that depression monster that I could literally feel following me at times, boring it's eyes into the back of my skull. Eventually, it became unavoidable. Started working with Hades last June. Learned I had a tooth rotting in my mouth. This thing took almost two dang months to finally get pulled. And it gets worse; just a few days after said rotting tooth is pulled I started having episodes which I *thought* were seizures, but I found out were actually dissociative pseudo-seizures. AKA dissociation that was so bad, that even though I was partially aware of what was happening around me, I *literally* could not speak or move my body. My vision went all wonky, too, because I went cross-eyed. A few times I even saw floating purple orbs. It was probably a few hours after I got an appointment with a psychiatrist, and the ER doc told me I was having a stress episode (AKA modern hysteria) that Apollo left. Today, while his candle is no longer on the altar, Apollo still has his Northern Lights wax melter, and a bottle of Sun water up there, and every so often I can still feel him coming around. Surprisingly enough, despite the indescribable panic and heartbreak I felt when it happened, right now I'm actually really grateful that he left. During the time I was working with him I could feel this person I was going to be- I was going to get a doctorate in mathematics. I was going to work in Quantum Mechanics. I still want that, and I still feel like it's attainable, but there are systems I need to set up first in order to actually get there. Those system ain't gonna get put in place with that sort of pressure and vision bearing down. I'm foolish enough that I'll forget that if I don't take care of myself, then it's really hard to do the Academia.
I loveeee your input on Apollo and Artemis I'm thinking on reaching out to Apollo today and building his altar maybe do some divination work I have the old rider tarot deck with colors. And a yellow candle for now but I also know he's associated with capricorns to and I been having a little trouble connecting with the one deity I like which is hecate, but bastet has been around and showing me dreams and signs of her, I love bastet! 🥰 and gonna reach out to Apollo and then the morrigan !☺️
Hi, I loved your explanation! I'm not a witch, but rather a highly sensitive person on a spiritual journey. I'd like to understand more about Apollo. While meditating, I started thinking about my career as a veteran comic book artist. When I focused on creativity and intuition, a presence approached me. Based on the strong yellow light and other characteristics, I identified it as Apollo. Could you point me in the right direction to learn more about him? (Hesiod's Theogony and Odyssey apart. I mean a more spiritual study about this deity)
Artemis always seemed to be protective of me, funny enough, Athena, Apollo, Artemis and I believe Hermes all kinda argued who was gonna introduce themselves first (Hermes did lol) Artemis tried to introduce herself to me in a dream, scared the shit out of me and she felt horrible lol
I see videos like this and it makes me feel like I'm doing something wrong. I initially felt called to Apollo from a dream I had. I've since set up an altar, done daily prayers and such. However, I don't get the "line of communication" that I feel some people talk about on RUclips and elsewhere on social media. Like I don't really get the sense he is ever "talking" to me, so I feel like I've messed up somewhere.
You didn’t mess up. You know the dream you had and take what people say online with a grain of salt. I actually think it’s irresponsible for people to talk and brag about all their spiritual experiences online, and to be honest sometimes I don’t know how many people are just fantasizing. I have to check myself to make sure I’m being authentic, and connecting authentically vs wishful thinking. Don’t compare your worship with others. The Gods have various ways of communicating. Do you ever feel some sort of energy, even an uplifting feeling when you’re giving offerings to Apollo? Or even when you’re in nature and see its beauty, or when you’re listening to music that really moves you? Apollo is within all of that. He can communicate without language. Gods are beyond human, they are larger and can be more abstract. In ancient times people worshipped the Gods because they are to be worshipped. I believe he’s there when you pray to him and give offerings. Forget about people’s stories of gods talking to them, and be open to other ways of feeling Apollo’s presence. Pray that he helps you deepen your faith, I believe he’ll answer even if it’s not in a way you might expect.
Apollo: *trying to encourage you*
Artemis: “You can’t dance”
Even when visiting Artemis and Apollo's temples you can feel the youthful, fresh, healing energy. Last time I went to Artemis's temple there were so many birds flying around and sitting on the columns instead of the trees it was so wholesome and refreshing (there were also hyacinth flowers growing around there - sibling support energy). As a Greek person living in greece I feel so lucky that I get to visit so many temples whenever I want
i hope one day i can visit one of their temples! that sounds like beauty.
I was at the Sanctuary of Artemis Brauron the day before yesterday
True, i went to an old temple of appollo on (I can't translate the name so I'll just sat it in greek) καθαρά Δευτέρα and it was delightful
i've been working with Apollo for a few years, he's the first deity i ever made contact w/ and i consider him my patron. something that i've learned abt him is that when u ask for something he's really....... in your face, lmao
i remember getting in my mother's car one morning and thinking "hey if ur there give me a sign" not actually expecting anything, then my mom turns the radio on and the first words i hear from the song playing are literally "the sun" and so i was sitting there like 👁👄👁
but yeah, working with him has been great and i love every second of it.
I have a friend who I would do readings for (if u see this, hi, ily) who worked with the pair and I had never worked with them before. I wholeheartedly agree that he is in your face. I love Apollo so much lol. my interactions with them for readings made me want to worship and work with them.
ME 2 NIGHTS AGO!! i pulled the chariot and 2 other cars with the sun and i was like “HMM OKAY CAN I GET ANOTHER SIGN” and the sun card flew out of my deck while i was shuffling
yes!! apollo is very generous and "talkative" with his signs and i absolutely love that about him. :)
FACTS
I had kinda a different experience Artemis was the firs Goddess/God that I work with but a Apollo wants "nothing" do do with me XD
personally, yes i do worship the hellenic pantheon because of percy jackson. the series opened the world of greek mythology for me when i was young, but i don't use it as a source of information. the series will always be near and dear to my heart, not for the potrayal of the gods, but for what it showed me, and taught me as an extremely introverted middle schooler
...and that's okay.
Same! I always thought I was faking my hope to start deity work because of it but I'm finally trying to start!
I personally haven't but I did read Trials of Apollo and turns out that was him trying to contact me I'm pretty sure!
There is no such thing as a Musical offering. We do not need to peforem offerings anymore thanks to Christ's sacrifice on the cross.
How do you tell if they like something more than something else?
i promised him id play guitar for him once i got one and then forgot and procrastinated learning to play....and now my guitars broken.... like the strings snapped...
@@bubblelf4341believe me you'll know lmao
Apollo is one of my patron gods! Apollo came into my life when I was really struggling with my self care, and self image. He helped me come to terms with a lot of boundaries, and always helped me see the light in situations where I would struggle. I’m so glad that he was such a positive force in your life ❤️
JESUS IS THE PATRON AND THE ONLY PATRON. JESUS IS KING
@@RenaissanceRockerBoy holy shit congrats!!!! Apollo is so fun and kind and understanding, you'll have a great time with him!
Apollo is my patron. He has helped me through a depressing part of my life and encouraged me to join marching band again after my past director left.
use to hate being under the sun, but after being with apollo, i love the warmth and the sun energy
A video on the differences between Atemis and Diana would be extremely interesting to watch
yess
There isn't a moment in my life when I don't remember Apollo being there. Literally... My name is Loren when my parents had planned something completely different (Ryan. They wanted to name me Ryan?!). Music and writing are the only reason I survived my childhood. He literally gave me life in the form of writing music. Artemis didn't come around until I moved to Colorado about six months ago. (I always honored her but never really worked with her). She is definitely more straightforward and I am still trying to figure out our relationship.
i mean even if you did got into greek mythology because of percy jackson... what would even be wrong with that? i was a very enthusiastic percy jackson kid and now at age 20 i worship/work with persephone and am thinking of saying hi to hades soon... nothing wrong with that, percy jackson definitely got me into paganism/greek gods, at age 13 i was already thinking in my head what gods i was going to make little temples to leave offerings for
I 100000% agree!!!!!!
@@ChaoticWitchAunt what is the difference between worshipping a Deity versus working with a Deity
.
@@sophiathefurbst thanks

I started sensing Artemis as a preteen (22 years ago lol), she's waking a lot of people up these days
@@TheMoonlightMage Any idea why that might be? And why her in particular?
@@AlexVinder They're literally coming for women and the LGBTQ and poc while Artemis and Hecate both unalive r@pists lol let's kick some ass ☺
are you sure you saw artemis and not just a pixie? or something else?
I worked with Apollo for around 5 months and his energy never felt overwhelming, but definitely a strong energy. He was a bit more strict with me, compared to hearing other people's experiences. He focused a lot on me speaking my mind and using my voice/being more confident and I've became such a stronger person as a result of working with him 🥰🌞
[Working w/ Apollo]
I literally reached out to him as kind of like a last ditch effort because I hopped on a bandwagon of "I'M DYING AND DON'T WANT THAT" and he slowly started to show himself in my life doing things like peaking my interest in music and rekindling my passion for art.
The Dynamic between Artemis and Apollo is really uplifting.
But it was such a wonderful experience, I sat on our porch to watch the sun rise almost every day with a cup of peach tea that summer.
did you do some kind of goodbye ritual or something along the line when a deity stopped working with you?
I've been working with the goddess Selene, which has been great! She's definitely a more patient deity lol cause I struggle sometimes. But I also work with horses and since horses are one of the sacred animals for her, I feed one a treat when I can as an offering, alone with wearing her symbol everyday. I'm also looking into the Irish deities but it's been hard to find much
Hey I’ve been trying to get into Selene, and was wondering if we could talk more about it, is Insta ok? If you feel comfortable ofc :))
I love Apollo and Artemis, they are some of my favorite deities
They have helped me so much
I wrote a song about Apollo specifically about hyacinthus and him and oh my have I felt called to work with him like ever since then I have felt so inspired
Any tips on how to contact them or reach them again
Specially artemis?
i've always thought of artemis as one of the aspects of diana, mainly because when diana first came to me i thought she was artemis and had to do a ton of research to understand. also apollo's energy as you spoke of him became really really warm, he says hi!
I pulled The Sun after watching this and your Patron Deity video! Thank you so much for posting 🌞
I would love to see a video on the differences of Diana and Artemis. That would be a great video!
As someone who is currently working with Apollo I really appreciate this video. New subscriber here as well, love everything I’ve been watching so far.
Peace and blessings.
I've been hearing part of this song from a witchy playlist, there's a song honoring the goddesses and I kept hearing "Artimis-Arrtimis"
I did a lot of research. I may make a video on identifying deities!
@@ChaoticWitchAunt Oooh, not only would that be really cool but that could help a LOT of people
Ive work with Apollo for a very long time, I think he likes me because I am very committed to working with him and I really like him!
i’m glad u did a video on them! it’s so nice hearing others experiences with them :)
I’m so glad I found this. I am currently researching Artemis because I believe she’s reaching out. ❤
My revelation is, how interesting it is that my younger self worked with TWINS being the cycle of light and dark, day and night, had my practice "die" and "reborn" to work with goddess whom requires devotion and deep truth seeking (my south node is Gemini, north node being Sag... like my brain right now!!!)
Do you feel like any of your deity work reflects in your astral charts, per chance? For anyone who likes connecting those dots?
Wow I'm south node gem north sag
lady. artemis is not a feminist deity
Me: doesn't even live anywhere near america (the continent)
"Ah yes! My local chaotic witch aunt! ❤"
Impulse bought a beautiful stag decor, then hit up the thrift store and saw the most beautiful Artemis broach. I bought it and now I'm here 🥰🥰
(Again 😅 Turns out I've watched this video before 🤷♀️🥰)
Love your content! I’ve been following the Luciferian archetype for awhile now and would be curious as to what your experience has been with Luciferos particularly and any type of additional resources you may have with Luciferos specifically.
Why do you say luciferian?
Franky: says that they used coffee as an offering to Apollo
*is mid sentence talking about Apollo * Franky: I want coffee
At first I decided I was gonna work with Hestia which didn’t go very well, it lasted 3 days, it didn’t work out cause I still had a lot of things to work on with myself so I took like a break, and then after that break Apollo abruptly came in when I was tryna contact Hestia 💀, and a month after, Artemis came in and I’ve been working with them both since
I came to this video because I have found Artemis in my presence more than sometimes recently. I am doing the research about her now.
When artemis came into my life I was having relationship problems family problems and mental problems the whole thing and through work with her I've worked with boundaries and my Sexuality and it's been very hard work but it's always felt like she was always that support in the room like needing your mom to get a shot she made me do the work on my own but gave me the support and safety to feel confident
had the worst day ever (doc was a misogynistic mansplainer im losing hope) but it got significantly better when my fav witchy ytber posted
Have you considered making a place for Hestia near the oven or place you mostly cook since that is what the hearth was originally used for?
Yay! More more more!
I always appreciate how informative and approachable your videos are. You rock!
I regard the Romans and Greeks VERY separately to show respect, but I would like to hear about you and your experience and reasonings with Diana and Artemis separation
Same. I kind of thought they were the same for a long time until Lady Minerva showed up as my patron. I had to unlearn that habit quickly😂
Apollo is like "im hot, segcy, faboulous, amazing, gorgous" and also like will cry with u about ur deepest traumas. with him, my experiences are like "u cant focus on hw? have u done ur self care? yeah no, go do ur self care then i will allow u to foc- i mean u will probobly be able to focus after" or him randomly blaring songs that make me happy or give me gender envy. if I had to describe their relationship, and this is from a reddit meme, it would be like *artemis struggling to walk in 2 inch heels* and then *apollo walking flawlessly and gracefully with one hand on his hip and the other hes inspecting his nails* and him yelling "HA! weak!" and laughing but in a nice way, not like a "we enemys way" but like two sibilings making fun of each other, which is adds up considering they r sibilings, twins even. but artemis is very picky about ppl, and very protective of those she does like. apollo is more so open to anyone, well not anyone, but he is less picky. he has three moods, sunflower vol 6 by harry styles, being hot, and sobbing over his lovers. artemis is def very independent and helps me a lot with that, and figuring out who i am, and what i like and stuff. apollo literally is always down to give advice, like during dance classes hes the one who tells me what im doing wrong with my technique so i can balance or turn better and same with art.
what? i think you misunderstood the signs if a flame plays it has nothing to do with apollo or artemis that is what flames are doing
For me it was in April of 2019
That I was initiated and made a Priest of Artemis by Artemis herself in a Dream and She accepted me and her Hunters accepted me as well
I am a High Priest of Artemis
And I do constant Full embodied channeling all the time
Today is the Feast of Artemis and I just did an elaborate offering at a three way crossroad at Noon
Your hair is awesome and so is Artemis goddess of the hunt I named my boat after her!👍🏼🧙🏻
I usually only work with Norse deities and was totally shocked to just do a ‘meet your deity’ guided meditation and have Apollo show up 🥰❤️ he was gorgeous!
This video helped me realize who they are i only could feel their energies but i didn’t know their names
Artemis was literally like flat out rejection but Apollo was like nah he's mine sis
me, as soon as I see the notification: 🚣♀️

I’ve just started worshiping Apollo and researching him and I love it, though I need to figure out how to distinguish between a sign and just a random crow lol
Am I the only one who noticed that the coffee mug said "I HATE IT HERE"-
No? Just me?
Okay
I love your cup! Omg "I hate it here" that would be my to go cup
Apollo: "Hey buddy, get up, lets dance"
Meanwhile Artemis in the corner: "You cant dance."
BWAHAHAHHAHA that made my fcking day. THANK YOU FOR SHARING THAT.
thank you.. this is an emotional video actually and i love it. i can feel it.
YESS I HAVE WAITED THIS VIDEO FOR WEEKA
the random coffee break was 100% Apollos doing 😭
I work with apollo long term and then artemis popped up and said "i need to see my twin."
OMGs this video came out on my bday, daaamn, nice timing, I am hoping to get into witchcraft
Lol, everyone out here getting into Hellenism via PJO and I got into it through the “The Cult of Dionysus” song lmfaoo
I heard it and started researching Dionysus and then I dipped my toes into Hellenism from there.
Them: That’s some badass energy
Me: ~dead on the floor~
So I have decided I'm going to really truly try to start my path into paganism and witchcraft so I got a tarot deck and started off with basic daily readings and eventually decided to ask after cleansing and making sure it was a good time to do a reading a got what seemed like a yes but I wanted to be sure since I found it odd that 3 of four cards were cups and I had recently divided the cards by major and minor acarna and each of the suits so I waited a bit cleansed and shuffled and it was still a resounding yes so here i am
Buckle up ya'll, because I accidentally turned this into a novel:
I started worshiping Apollo, along with Athena, when I was in high school.
I have and am still worshipping both twins, and I can say your experience with how they were are very similar.
Euskadi(notice how similar Euskadi is to Skadi)/the Basque Country is the land of the Gods. These interlopers are funny, lol.
Yesterday I saw well over 100 crows, and then today I saw a couple other small groups of crows
Is this a sign of Apollo?
Artemis always seemed to be protective of me, funny enough, Athena, Apollo, Artemis and I believe Hermes all kinda argued who was gonna introduce themselves first (Hermes did lol) Artemis tried to introduce herself to me in a dream, scared the shit out of me and she felt horrible lol
I was searching for signs today, for APOLLO. I saw signs for Artemis. I tried talking to Apollo, He told me to talk to Artemis.
