    Put Chap-stick on the upper surface and sides of the lower magnets (the ones that attach to the chassis.) That will keep Shoe Goo, epoxy, gel CA or whatever from adhering to those magnets. Then click the disks that will be glued to the body onto the lower magnets. Make sure you don't get any chapstick on the upper disks. Then put your dab of shoe goo on the top surface of the upper disks and place and align your body where you want it. Once the adhesive had cured, the disks will be adhered to the body and held magnetically to the body post. This is especially useful when you're mounting a body that wasn't designed for the chassis you're using. I used that when I mounted a Bullhead body on a custom rail-type chassis.

    Like the clean look of magnetic mounts on a nice body like that one.
    Not sure how they are going to hold up under moderate use though.

      They can't handle much of a bump, as the body weighs so much. As long as I drive carefully, they're good to go.

    mine sits a little lower and still turns well but im using the lowest setting with the body clips as wanted to keep it as box art or Tamiya as possible although i did fill in the ridiculous holes in the guards , thanks for a great video bud :-)

    Nice results with the red and no flames. Seems the wheel base can be 5 to 10mm longer. The front and rear wheels look to be a bit in.

    Wonder if you put a taller tire on it if would fill up tire wells little more and give it a lower look

    • @poorboysrc
      @poorboysrc  3 года назад

      I thought about that. Also considering installing oil filled shocks and lowering it a bit with them.

    hi! how to calculate the perfect heigth of the body post?

    • @poorboysrc
      @poorboysrc  3 года назад

      Lots of test fitting. Measure, cut, test fit until you reach the desired height. 👊
