a quarter billion and they still hired the interior decorators from every airport hotel lobby
Imagine having one of the worlds most incredible views and the worlds blandest desk
And that same stupid ring light that every luxury apartment in New York has.
Yes it’s really ugly, doesn’t look warm at all.
Ditto
Yeah, this is very basic
Aside from the views and the price, I don't actually mind the guide this time. Love his expression when he sat down to play the piano. He seems human compared to all the rest.
He has his own yt channel
He was on one of those Bravo shows so he’s used to the camera
🔥 🎉💰Yeah! Ryan is the best. They don’t give listings like this to just anyone. On another thought, that ballroom could host a lot of multimillion dollar fundraising events for the arts, politics etc. Although the buyer would probably have to install at least $100 million in blue chip art and crazy security.
@Carter oh dear
@@frankbombaci4977 million dollar listing
This guy is awesome. From "im a broker now," to "i would bubble bath at least 4 times a day," to "who can see you, Nasa?" Ryan managed to make this tour wonderfully entertaining and pleasant. and break free from the stuffiness of a lot of other presenters on youtube, but still managed to evoke an emotional reaction to an apartment viewers simply couldn't afford. I didn't feel jealous, I didn't feel envy, at the end of the video with the terrace, I felt happy. He managed to put into perspective how cool it is that a place like this exists, and shuffled us away from the very real fact that it wont be experienced by any of us. That takes a lot of persuasion, even to forget that for just 10 minutes!
Big props.
He said, “I would bubble bath at least every four days”, not 4 times a day.
Thank you so much, but honestly who ever is so obsessed with blaming me for their decisions please stop
This building and lots of other things have been presented to me however I felt it was best to wait til this year. Since I’ve been targeted partially because of your buildings my entire life. and I actually already missed the grand opening event. I’m so sorry to tell you the truth. So that makes everything in my life that was suppose to be for me and me alone wasted from a group of so called grown ups
bcause not everyone has patience doh
Hes an actor lol
My first thought was "How long does it take to get from the ground floor to the apartment?" My second thought was "How many elevators does it take to get there?" And my third was "How cool would it be to look out those huge windows, so high up, during a storm?"
The elevators might be simpler than you think. At one point, I used to live in an apartment 55 floors above, and it took about 10-15 seconds at max, to reach from ground.
I believe the penthouse has its own private elevator from the ground floor for $250.00 I would not be surprised.🤓
Your fourth thought could be “If the elevators don’t work, how would I feel sleeping at the sidewalk owning a 250 mil penthouse because it would take me 2 days climbing the damn stairs”
@@michaelaligizakis I think there's a hotel in the lower portion of the building. For that cost I bet they'd house you there for free till its fixed lol
@@michaelaligizakis I dealt they would climb the stairs they would just stay at the Waldorf Astoria until the elevator gets fixed.🤓
All the other hosts of real estate tours are so rushed. Why are they in such a hurry? Why do they talk so fast? Ryan is relaxed and calm. I really get to enjoy the properties when he hosts the tours. Thanks, Ryan! BTW, I might purchase this place after I finish paying off my Camry. Merry Christmas!
In a house this big I would luke 20 mins of Ryan talking
Camry is a war tool. Reliable to the max
Awesome
Invite me after you buying this penthouse 🤪

The commission alone on this would be retirement status.
Ryan you are an excellent presenter. You have a great blend of professionalism, charm, wit, playfulness and ease.
nah, ryan couldn't sell water to a thirsty man
You must felate billionaires will style.
He needs to get his facts straight before he tells absolute ignorant lies
6:46 Who is going to see you ? NASA?? 🤣🤣🤣 I love Ryan’s sense of humor
And , "it's a Monday, ooo it's monday and I lived in 250 million penthouse" 🤣🤣
I have to say they found the right person to present this place. (Nice job, Ryan Serhant!)
He is also the listing agent haha
This man is the most entertaining broker I’ve seen in a while
he's an idiot
Okay, either this gentleman is a really, really good actor or he genuinely delighted in showing this space and his enthusiasm is so contagious. He also has such a way with words. One of my faves was re: the bathroom: "Who's going to see you? NASA?" lmbo. I mean, you're not wrong. I wish he'd give others in the business lessons in presentation! Shout out to the camera crew also. Those shots were breathtaking. Truly enjoyed this, thank you!
The commission on this sale would genuinely delight anyone! 😅
Serhant is the king bc he loves this so much. Knowing how to appreciate things is a gift. Crazy stuff.
News was reporting that this apartment sways in the wind, has high pitch whistling sounds due to the wind, and that the outdoor terrace is almost useless due to the high winds.
I want this guy to do the house tour in every architectural digest video. Great sense of humor!
it's ryan serhant if you want his channel
I think it was sarcastic because of the earth thing. For me, Ryan is the goat!
Who's gonna see you, NASA?
I completely agree - he has such a great way of showing off the property and keeping the viewer engaged. This penthouse was breath taking, the views amazing! I thought the view from the top of 1 world trade was amazing but it doesn't compare to the views from this place, well, except that at 1 world trade you can see the statue of liberty.
He has his own channel
I don't care how ridiculous and opulent it is, I would absolutely love to live there. Human engineering is insane.
Yeah but the thing is, no one would invite you
Safer than Florida apartments for sure
The style is meh. I’d rather live in the guesthouse to Frank Lloyd Wright’s “Falling Water”.
Just struck with awe over and over. It's incredible
This is actually terrifying.
but really cool
Just have parachutes
What the price or the place🤣
I just had the same thought!
@@Manmade023 $250,000,000.
Ryan blows the other guys away! Love this guy…great sense of humor and remains relatable and down to earth while laying on the bed of a 250 million dollar penthouse. How he does it I have no idea, but good for him! Not sure if Ryan does many of these or if this is his channel (just stumbled across this), but would much rather watch him tour real estate around the world than the other popular people. Good job!
This place is beyond incredible, it's something you'd expect to see on another world. Stunning property.
I actually really liked this host. He seemed as in awe of this place as we are. He seemed human. Give this guy more videos to star in!
So you’ve never heard of Ryan Serhant? From the tv show “Million Dollar Listing New York.” It’s only like the 14th season coming up.
I can't even comprehend having that much money first of all, let alone putting it all down for an apartment.
There's maybe a couple dozen people on planet earth who could buy that place in one cash payment. Most of them are going to be part of the royal families of Arab countries, the royals of a couple other countries, and then maybe a couple billionaires, and then a few drug lords.
@@Skyfalcon12345 Theres 3000 people worth more than a billion. All of them could buy this, albeit it may not be the wisest financial decisions for those with just a billion.
@@theantiantichrist Very few of those 3000 people have a billion dollars in cash. Most of their money is in stocks and those billionaires who are self-made usually have most of their money in a single stock (like Elon Musk in Tesla or Jeff Bezos in Amazon) and if they were to try to sell it all, the stock would tank because they'd be simultaneously increasing the supply of the stock and satiating the demand, and they would ultimately get a lot less money out of it than the original estimate. That's why Elon Musk had such big trouble buying Twitter for $44B eventhough he was worth $200B+. Bill Gates is an exception to this because he has highly diversified his portfolio ever since he left Microsoft. But that kind of diversification takes years. That's why he's able to donate so much of his money to charity these days.
One can’t imagine having that much money because realistically one only has the “idea” of that much money
@@Skyfalcon12345 - There are over 2600 billionaires in the world, so more than a "couple dozen".
That NASA part got me 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Got me too but then it got me thinking... people fly drones you know
That NASA Part get me too 😂
@@QuickScopingPerk hahahahaaa, true but with that height has to be NASA.
I watch these videos alllll the time and Ryan is the absolute best. So charming and funny and somehow down to earth while he's talking about a quarter of a billion dollar penthouse.
He’s a liar though
I like this host, Ryan, well spoken, with a lyrical whimsy that comes off as very chill. I'll be back for more.
I didn't think I was that afraid of heights but this is horrifying
Horrifying in many ways
the height would get me and especially standing in front of the window at that height probably not very nice building though
Am I a masochist for loving the height 😍
I am afraid of heights and it is definitely frightening!
I really enjoyed this tour! Brief, to the point, and very entertaining! Great job, Ryan!
Thank you for the tour, Ryan !
Thank you for including video footage at dusk and nighttime😍😍
All memes aside the view is pretty neat and I would be getting great shots of any storm clouds approaching.
UNBELIEVABLE. Thank you.
I love that Ryan is doing this!
Absolutely amazing!
Imagine the elevator brakes down & you have to take the stairs 😂
nah you just take a helicopter
That's when you take the helicopter.
Imagine the elevator breaks down and you're in it. lol
There's an elevator to get to the elevator in this building.

Been waiting Sooo long for the tour! Thanks AD!
Thank you for this tour. Beautiful home in the sky...
The no noise factor got me. That is worth it.
Wow - loved this tour! I wouldn’t mind an invite to that ballroom! The terrace is insane! A tiny bit of fear-of-heights kicked in when I saw him walk outside!
I don’t know what’s scarier the height or the price 😂
with an 80 year loan, Mortage will be a cool $260,000 a month😂😂
@@tae-007 when you put it like that - it’s actually not too bad. James Packer - a lower tier Australian Billionaire got AUD$120,000,000 dividends this year - so $12,000,000 mth. It’s totally doable
Definitely the height
@@everist22 $120M/12=$10M per month. But the apt's price is in USD, so AUD$120,000,000 = USD $80,273,464.
@Sergio Venizelos lol the rich don’t pay taxes silly
Thank You Ryan…I enjoyed it
That was an awesome video, and the penthouse was amazing!
Very entertaining walk through, Ryan 😅 "who's going to see you--NASA?" 😂
Has he never seen the film Blue Thunder?😄 Plus now-a-days any drone can peek into your windows.
@@SoCalFreelance how many non-military drones can go 1400 feet up?
@@Deadeye313 1,400 feet for a drone is nothing. Look at how many people fly their drones above the clouds in RUclips videos. Look at the DJI Mavic 3 video where it flies above Mount Everest! That's 30,000 feet up!
That was amazing. Thank you, thank you, thank you for having this staged with much better furniture and accessories. The penthouse at 4:32 park Avenue still gives me nightmares haha. This was very nice. Well done!
This place is just unbelievable, I'm South African, we have a place called Sandton, which has pretty amazing apartments with massive floor plans on higher levels, but this... this is just stunning, the peace of mind you'll have up there, the serenity, the privacy, and you can't forget the luxury. It's such a beautiful and grand design, I've truly never seen anything like it. And the ball room, I mean really?? Why? Cause you can! Plus the outdoor space which you can really use well if you know how to utilize space. Incredible, I'm completely amazed. Not that I'll ever be able to afford it, but to know this is there for someone to live in, it's spectacular.
I personally think the style is meh. Are you familiar with mid-century modern? I’d rather live in the guesthouse to Frank Lloyd Wright’s “Falling Water”.
Excellent presentation. Loved the terrace view and your explanation of the buildscape as you look to lower Manhattan and beuond
I'm blown away by the views, just incredible! it's like living in a house floating above NYC...The terrace is also sweet, What a price tag too!
Crazy and amazing at the same time. Love it a lot.
I’m glad the glass is so tall on the penthouse! Makes me relax more at that height!
View makes me want to cry. So beautiful
Wow absolutely stunning!
I would not want anything to do with living that high in the sky - I mean, the number of things that could go wrong are off the charts.
Imagine the fun on windy days - WHEEEEEEEEEEEEE
@@camillegirardaubin I'm the same way - I can barely watch this kind of footage.
I agree Guy, If I could afford it, I'd much prefer a cosy loft with a balcony where I could watch the wheels go by & see people enjoying central park, this penthouse feels so far removed it's devoid of humanity lol
I used to live on the 28th floor of an Eastside residential building. On windy days the floor felt like the deck of a ship on a rolling sea, and in the bathroom, you could see the water sloshing back and forth in the toilet bowl. Not exactly the cozy feeling of being home in a storm.
Pretty darn incredible
wow...this is so AWESOME !!!
This is stunning, I love it. Great job Ryan
Finally we get to see the inside! By far the best penthouse ever!! The 250 mil price tag actually doesn't seem that far fetch when considering other buildings in Billionaire's row and that if you buy this penthouse you're essentially buying the whole building beneath you to have the luxury to be that high up.
I worked on this apartment, for the company that did the exterior facade glass/aluminum/etc - was really cool
seriously - think as a rational actual human-being what a quarter-billion could do to alleviate some measure of human suffering - Nietzsche was right about human-kind in general and you in particular
@@c4soccer lol liar
@@megamega791 you don't believe that a man does construction in nyc?
Still missing a lot of the inside.
Impressive and I could never imagined you’d have ocean views in midtown Manhattan!
Just amazing!
Wow!! I absolutely love this!! Your tour was so much fun. I love your sense of humour throughout. No curtains - whose going to see you?? NASA?? I would turn that ballroom into a gym on one side and maybe a gamesroom and lounge on the other side, just my thoughts. All in all a beautiful place and whoever buys this one is definitely going to be very fortunate to own it. Great tour, thanks for this. I am adding it to my favourites :o)
Wow Ryan this is stunning
Omg the commissionnnnn, good job Ryann
‘Oh it’s a Monday and I live in a 250 dollar penthouse!’ Love it. I like the bathroom the most, the views are amazing but I do wonder how long it would take to get up and down the elevator
250 million dollars and they couldn't even tune the piano!
its just for decoration i`d guess
no reason to hire somebody to tune it if nobody buys the damn apartment
The furniture is staged, though. It's there to give the potential buyers a better idea of the scale of the apt and what it could look like with furniture.
Yes, but Ryan can tuna fish
It's sale staging furniture. It doesn't come with anything you see.
Imagine the sunsets, the storms and all that from up there it must be just wild
spectacular!
Amazing views, and lots of vertigo!
Me with fear of height phobia watching this, I felt like I was somehow falling from this penthouse lol !
Same!
Yep, me too! 😱😱
Me too when he went on the terrace I actually felt that panic feeling in my chest that you get when you almost get in a car wreck
“You can literally see the curvature of the earth” from the apartment. Spoken like true Real Estate agent… (about 35,000’ min altitude to start to see the curvature.)
LITERALLY - he literally don't know the meaning of word "literally"
How f*Ing pathetic it is.
@Kas no, you obviously can't you m*r*n. It's way too low and the angle is too small.
@Kas Is that a joke?
@Kas No, I can't see it. It is your imagination. The curvature of the earth cannot be seen from the ground or even 1400 feet. Look it up Kas.
Well, when I was having dinner at “Windows On The World” decades ago, I commented that I could see the curvature of the earth. - and had the worst feeling - I couldn’t wait to get out of there. I can just imagine the thoughts running through the minds of the people that had to jump to their death.

How amazing to stand in a room and look down at the Empire State Building. Incredible.
10:13 this is actually a rumour. Yes, the bedrock is deeper north of lower Manhattan, but massive construction can still easily be achieved. It's more the fact that there simply isn't enough demand to build huge buildings there
