I thoroughly enjoy getting to watch this channel and see these homes, but I have one request- night time shots. You've got so much intentionally done lighting throughout this particular place and many others that have been shared on this channel that has never been well displayed by showing how they can change the feel of a room at night when their full effect can be appreciated. Just a thought. Not to mention a night shot looking out that window to central park would be amazing I bet.

The approach to architecture has changed so much but now it has become vry "not so homely" but a hotel or showroom vibe. Btw i loved that non-reflective mirror piece in living room.

There’s a feeling one gets when seeing incredible design for the first time. It’s difficult to put into words, it just stirs the soul.
I was expecting something extraordinary from this space,
It could just be lost in the video but to my eye it did not deliver.
The interior is not timeless but already it looks dated.
I don’t doubt that being there in person adds a dimension that simply cannot be conveyed in a video, but there are problems that I have with proportion, scale and originality that would not change seeing this space in person.
Thank you, however, for sharing the rarified world of billionaires row.
I must say that Lauren is a delight to listen to and conducts the tour beautifully.

Even though its important it really confuses me why many tours put so much emphasis on the furnishings, art work and tables. I mean when someone is spending 38 million on a home, the comparatively cheap furnishings are a second thought and subjective to say the least, Id assume that the staging is just that, setting the stage for what can be..

Serious question: why do designers and developers spend so much time meticulously paying attention to the details of these places when most of them are being purchased as investments and never being lived in at all. The experience of living here is completely meaningless as it’s value lies in its inherent worth and not the utility that it provides. Nobody lives in these

This is one of the few NY penthouses that seem at least a tiny bit worth the astronomical price tag but at the same time you can still get more for your money in say Beverly Hills or some other exclusive and nice neighborhood

One thing i dislike about many of these houses is that the childrens rooms are comparably really small. If the kids dont have a lot of space on their own, they will be in the living room etc more, and maybe disturb others. And wont have a private little "palace" for themselves that is only theirs.
And ofc, if you like you childhood room, you will stay there longer and actually want to stay there instead of leave as soon as possible.
Like, parents mostly only sleep (and...) in their bedroom, whereas children (and later teenagers and young adults) spend a great amount of time in their rooms. Playing/crafts/studying or just chilling, so best make that comfortable for them.

To be honest, I appreciate the dedication designers have put in this home, but this isn’t the best home you could buy with this price in terms of design. Big chunk of the price just goes to the location and the cost of constructing the whole building

Maybe it's just the times we're living in, but there's something so futuristic and almost dystopian about these "sky palaces": it's like living in the metaverse, or the ultra rich in The Hunger Games. They feel sad and lonely and I can't imagine the ideal environment to raise kids in. Dunno 😕
