The greatest hits and deepest cuts of the Go-Go's have made their way to Broadway in ''Head Over Heels'', a new musical now running at the Hudson Theatre. Go-Go's members Belinda Carlisle, Jane Wiedlin, Kathy Valentine, and Charlotte Caffey sat down to talk about their favorite songs featured in the show, which collectively tell a story based on Sir Philip Sidney's 16th-century play ''The Arcadia''. Find out which popular tunes they think fit best on a Broadway stage and which obscure selections they're delighted have been culled from the archives.
Glad to see they've reconciled with Kathy Valentine.

It's funny that you say that because I think you're absolutely right, and I've never been able to see that and put into words. I also think that the drummer and bass player have to get along because it's the two of them that power the band in any setting. So, in a way, a bass player needs a good, compatible drummer as well. As it is not argued that Buddy Rich was the Michael Jordan of drums his ego kept the greatest players away. His bands were great, but they were comprised of a lit of young cats that once established got as far away as they could from him.

God.. Valentine is so smooth on the bass. She's really better then most Rockstar men are on the bass to be honest. Serious..

1st comment for an awesome video!!! Love my Go Gos, amazing and pioneering band. You ladies were my best friends as a teen, and still are :), your music will always be close to my heart. You pioneered in music and with yourselves and I can't say how much I truly am so happy to grow up in a time when so many amazing artists like yourselves made an awesome impression in my life. It really is a fascinating evolution. They've come a long way. I think they're great.
I think good girl was always pretty clear.
The problem is that it was their attempt at Hole-esque 90s music and the song is far too commercial to be appealing to that demographic.
It's a good song tho.

and Gina Schock IS the cutest of all of them.
I liked her a fair bit too, Loved Middle of Nowhere the song from her solo project House of Schock, all the girls are likeable in their own way and have released good songs in their own right. I know Belinda was the only ultra successful solo act but they all have talent and have made some good music.

This video made me feel old. I was a kid in the 80s and remember when they were they were just starting out. They were beautiful but age takes its toll on everyone.
Drugs did take their toll.
I give Belinda credit for at least being there and rolling with it. I'm not convinced she's all good with it but there's not enough evidence here to really make me think otherwise
She always acts like that in all these interviews. She's a very difficult read.
Induct these talented musicians into the ROCK AND HALL OF FAME!! Only ALL Female Band, Song writers, paved the the way for punk bands like "Greenday" First female band to have #1 Album!! 🎵❤ Nominate for Kennedy Center Honors!! They weren't even in Top 40 Punk Bands by Rolling Stones. TRAVESTY!!
