@@plumdalejunction Nearly agreed, during the second half of the video. I'd be pleased to hear two musical phrases instead of the only one; repeating two things would be less boring.
I tell ya there ain't nothing more refreshing and brain-massaging to enjoy than watching steam locomotives in action pulling/pushing their trains making their railway a prestigious travel attraction for tourists that come near, far and wide. A whole lot of positivity is to be said about the very Talyllyn Railway and what it offers, I can assure you the words are from eons to count. I wish I could travel the countries in the United Kingdom and visit the many railways there.
Hey! I made the music used in this video 😄 I appreciate you guys using this so much, it’s an honor to have my cover used, and what a wonderful video to use it with, good to see all the engines getting some good running!
@@danielsellers8707 I would certainly have to agree with @dankelsellers8707. For@digialgridmusic1768, nice job on the music as it certainly fits with the video.
@@oliverbayley3509 I’m not sure of the original, other than it comes from a documentary of the same name. The cover here is free to use w/ credit. The original I don’t know.
Montages of Sir Hayden and Edward Thomas with “railway with a heart of gold” playing in the background is enough to make any train enthusiast feel relaxed about their surroundings. Also my condolences go to Talyllyn and Dulgoch during their overhaul period.
They may have met their twins from Sodor (Skarloey & Rheneas) during their overhauls. I think Railway with a Heart of Gold sounds like Last of the Summer Wine.
Came here as a kid in the late 70s early 80s …. Holds a special place in my heart. If I can’t retire abroad, then I dearly hope to retire here. Still make a point of riding out to here a couple of times a year just to take it in.
Interesting to see No.3 now running with chimney toward the Wharf and cab toward Nant Gwernol... not the first time this has happened but it's been a while...
When watching these T.R. offerings. I can't help but think of their country counterparts from the Isle of Sodor, Skarloey, Peter Sam and Rusty the diesel
I put this video on loop I love listening to the music and trains as I'm working. If anyone is wondering I'm still listening to this music, also I want to work there it looks to pretty.
Gorgeous video to watch for a Saturday. The engines look gorgeous as they run around with photo charter trains and other work. After seeing this video, reminds me of a time on the Skarloey Railway in the Railway Series Books by Rev. Wilbert Awdry and Christopher Awdry where Rev Wilbert Awdry wrote a story of Peter Sam and Sir Handel helping out Skarloey and Rheneas while they were being mended. Again beautiful video of trains with a wonderful song to go along with the video. ❤❤
Great opening shots, took me back to "Four Little Engines"!!! Surely it's not good practice to have all that water spilling onto the track bed at the reinstated water trough??
Hi Bob, thankfully it isn't the normal practice to let it flow constantly! Usually the water is diverted back into the stream before it reaches the end for day to day operation, but for photographic charters we let it flow constantly as this is what it used to do historically - though it's shut off once everyone has their pics!
9 minutes very well spent and much enjoyed!
Nice video. However the endless repetitive music should have been avoided. After a couple of minutes it diverted from the pleasure of the video.
Fancy seeing you guys here!

I think this theme would suit Sir Handel's visit to the Tal-y-llyn Railway!

So calming and relaxing. Being autistic I can say the combo of the soft music and the sounds of the engines puffing is incredibly calming to me.
Dawww the music fits so well for them petite trains 💜
This was actually made by the railway
Anxiety soothing
Gonna need a ten hour loop of this guys

"Here, we see the Talyllyn Railway's Locomotives, hard at work."
What a great video! This is why we have preserved this great little railway.
We need more
Would it be possible to get an ASMR/white noise style video of one of the locos being prepped for service? Think that would be quite relaxing as well
The Tal-y-llyn locos look even more like the Skarloey engines in red!
You should go to the awdry extravaganza
Fun fact: Talyllyn is Skarloeys’ twin sister
@@TheKaidynB you mean brother,,,
@@Jediah-s6p I consider Talyllyn Female since her name sounds a bit more feminine to me
Also very good at helping me sleep
I'm liking edward thomas in the red again

I really need to make a visit to one of my child hood haunts again ❤❤❤
Super relaxing video of this magical railway.
Lovely video, very relaxing. Would love to see more of this kind in future
Great viewing, please make this a recurring feature!
The music is beautiful and the trains are great! A charming vid!
Excellent little montage, keep them coming sitting here in Ballarat, what a wonderful treat on a Sunday night. Ray.
Yeah I can watch this for an hour please make a volume 2
The guard's van looks like Beatrice's real life basis.
Thank you TR, lovely video to watch while enjoying your morning cuppa
Very much enjoyed this, thanks to everyone who put it together.

Superb, the reason for volunteering. Delightful
Gorgeous footage!
Great video. Thank you so much . Makes me want to come over again to work and travel on the TR.
Very relaxing! Love it!
Awesome, I know your working cameras on line, very interesting! Cheers Fabrizio
Just a bit curious, how was Sir Haydn turned around?
0:31 Is my favorite part.

@@TalyllynRailway1865 That's what I thought from previous vids👍Thanks
There isn't a shot in this video that couldn't serve as the basis for a Railway Series illustration.
Yay😊👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
that’s corris loco!
Actually it is no. 4, just painted red before her ticket expires.
💚💚💜💜
Is Tallylyn back in action?
She’s due for early next year
1:27 is it leaking or it have to be like that?
It was left flowing for photos, as that's what it used to do historically - usually it doesn't flow out constantly 😊
How did you turn No.3 around
Well edward thomas' nameplate need comeback
Excellent film, though music a little tedious
Dumb arsed question, is one of the loco's facing the "wrong" way?
You're right in thinking that, Sir Haydn was facing down towards Tywyn as she did in the 1950s for these photo charters!
Where video for this week?
Great video but a pity about the music.
