Have you heard the Working The Midnight Shift remix by Holy Ghost ?? There's two views, one is that ALL of Donna Summer's back catalogue was borrowed digitally, 'master-tapes'/stems level 'n' all The Other is that they were 'lost'.... I was told that HOW her Casablanca albums were Re-Mastered [without any multi-track tapes etc] was a recording from a previous CD & it was 'treated' Somehow. No Really ! Those guys who did the above mix said they were given an acapellla 'of a sort'. They'd used Isolating Tech; to filter out the music.....and they said it was basically unusable. That's why there's only a quick spurt of Donna near the end & Someone Else sings most of that one. I know what I think has happened.
JRX R7:I still love it, though a slightly shorter intro to make it more floor friendly. For blasting in headphones or in the car THIS would be my chosen version. All for a dance floor version though 👍🏴❤️🇪🇸
