+Samantha Who? No it does not make me relax, making me very hungry. That is what I used to eat when I was a kid. Every time when I had some money on me, I would buy curry fish balls along with this rice noodle or we call it cheong-fun with mixed sauces. Taste really really good. Bring all those good old memory back.
This is the best video of chongfan I watch this everytime when m hungry. This looks so satisfying This is the best street food in hongkong beside sui mai , fish ball , dimsum yummy.
The secret is the sauce. Makes it sooo delicious. The white rice cakes she is cutting is practically tasteless. Just rice. So the sauces have to be awesome to make this otherwise tasteless dish amazing. She might do better if she added some shrimp or ground pork . like in Malaysia. I think Malaysia and Singapore has the best cuisine in southeast Asia though. And India! Love Indian food too.
Bessie this one is different. Not only the sauce, the use Lard while making the rice roll. That’s y so tasty n popular. Those u mentioned Hong Kong also has a lot of different versions in breakfast shops or Chinese restaurant
To particlebeam: not sure why I don't see your comment here but to answer your question, based on individual preferences, the rice rolls are normally topped with sweetened soy sauce, sweet sauce (kinda tastes like hoisin), sesame paste (this shop mixes with lard which makes it super yummy), and chili sauce (such as siracha) etc.
The right English name of this food is steam rice roll. Basically, it is vegetarian food but some food stall may add lard. Meanwhile, I also love it. Simple but tasty. However, not all food stall supply it excellent.
When I lived in Hong Kong, I used to eat these noodles all the time, near Kimberly Street. I love the peanut sauce on them. The only difference was that they were served on a disposable plate with toothpicks to eat them. I would love to find the recipe so I could make these at home.
peter yeung Dude, you don't know anything about their lives except for the dish they're making for a living. You can't really say they're obese just because of that as you don't really have anything to base it on.
Trent8002003 I guessed that you had not tried it since there were no peanut sauce and hoisin sauce over the rice noodles. The yellow color sauce was sesame sauce and the red one was called sweet sauce.
đồ ăn trên đường phố làm thấy ngon dễ sợ . Ngoài điện ảnh ra thì đến Hong Kong mà không thưởng thức món ăn đường phố thì cũng giống như là chưa biết và chưa đến Hong Kong vậy .
@@pinwailin2028 Sweet sauce is red color which made from fementated rice flour look like red rice yeast stuff mixed sesame oil. The housin sauce sauce taste more different than the sweet sauce.
I don't know why, but watching this is really relaxing.
same!

Smith John Really? I'm not though !
+Wastedon4loko so uer globel gourmet since steam rice roll is not famous food in the world.
Smith John You can get it in just about any Dim Sum restaurant on the planet. It does not have to be famous. One just has to know that it exists.

Nothing but carbs and sugary hoisin sauce and peanut sauce. Ultimate junk food but so so so comforting!

what does it taste like?
In my childhood days it was 10 for a dollar !
