You are a genius of communication. Some people have it in face to face or video, but don't tend to have it in writing, and vice versa. Having read your answers below, you have both. One of the best explanations I have seen to anything, was this video. Thanks 😃
Best guide to 2Up's I've come across, you have explained it so well, it was pretty confusing before this, great video, if you keep winning on a regular basis, is this a risk of being gubbed?
🤔 understand it all, pretty simple, but makes me think.. You say "the difference between method 1 and 2, is you might take a load of losses and get gubbed before a big win.. or can take plenty of smaller wins along the journey". This is only assuming the 2ups come with either strat (obv pennys loss if none come in for days). I plan on using 2up at a few bookies I know do it (hopping to also find one that does it in store), with lower stakes until I get bankrolled.. So my question would be, Do you have any advice on how to avoid getting gubbed while on the 2up journey?
Hi I have a questions: Once the team went 2up and we go back to smarkets we trade out bet and after we back bet with exchange again from the calculator to take the profit? or we just trade out and we don't do nothing?
Hi Paula, Once the team you have backed have gone 2 goals ahead and you can see that the bookmaker has paid out your back bet, head over to the exchange and trade out of your lay bet, this is the entire process. The profit from the bookie's early payout will outweigh the loss from trading out of the lay bet on Smarkets.
Hey, thanks for the video. Just wondering in cash out method if we don't cash out and there was not early payout. Is there possibility of losing our money?
Working it out manually is the way I did it Mark, generally, as a rule of thumb the higher the back odds as a result of having more legs in an acca, the larger the spread between the lay odds on the exchange and the larger the overall QL
It's likely that you would get to the same place over the long run when running the full turnaround method, but it's unlikely to be able to get to that point with just one account as a result of bookie restrictions
You perhaps should have mentioned that if you normally only make £20 bets at B365 then it would be best to gradually increase the size of the stake up to £500/£1000 to save suspicion. I currently do 2ups using very modest £20/£50 stakes so it would alert the traders if I were to suddenly start using £500/£1000 stakes.
Stakes somewhat in relation to your stakes your using with 2up is what I usually recommend. Mug betting on accas is usually best for looking like a recreational punter and making your account look natural 😊
Do you have any key tips for not getting gubbed? I have a few friends that do this and they have all been gubbed from various bookmakers. I did it for a while but stopped as their experiences put me off!
hi there, I would weight your bank roll slighly towards the betting exchange as the liability will always tie up more money than the back stake with the bookmaker
Hi Carl, It changes but it’s generally around 10-15k. Don’t let these numbers put you off at all though, big profits are still very much attainable from matched betting each month using a much smaller bank, it just requires a little harder work. Cheers, Liam
Hi Liam, thanks for the great vid, you know when you talk about the bankroll, for example we have 10,000, would the total amount be for both bet365 and Smarkets? Or would it be 10,000 for each so 10,000 in bet365 and 10,000 in Smarkets totally 20,000?
Hey Liam. When you place your large bets (£500 - £1,000) do you do this as one bet or multiple bets over multiple accounts? Secondly, how easy is it to place them as I often find it's hard enough placing £50 - £100 bets because of the lack of liquidity in Smarkets? Another great video with great takeaways, Cheers
Hi Jeff, I place the bets on just one bet365 account, I also place mug bets on accas then lay them off each week to feed some value back into the account for the bookmaker. Smarkets generally have enough liquidity on the bigger football matches such as in the premier league, championship and champions league so those are the games that I would target for 2up. Cheers, Liam
Hi there, I try to do this as little as possible and withdraw from the exchange whenever its needed. Of course, sometimes this cant be helped and you need to withdraw from Bet365, when this is the case I make sure not to withdraw my entire balance.
One thing I realised about 2ups yesterday. If your team go 2 up with less than 10 mins to go it's unlikely you will be able to cash out as noone wants to take accept your back bet 🙈
Yep that is very true, conversely, if you get an early 2up you will be able to trade out at a very favourable price on the exchange and lock in a nice profit
I am still new to 2ups but I have been cashing out 50% when the team goes 2up and then leave the rest for the go for glory. Just decided that I wanted to get some profit but would kick myself if i cashed out and then there was a full turn around.
Hi Will, Yes you are able to log your 2ups in the profit tracker on OddsMonkey, you will have to manually add them in as logging the trigger bet through the OddsMatcher will only calculate your QL if there is no 2up in the game
Good video mate. Would you ever recommend or would you ever back both ways (365/Paddy) if the matcher showed it was close enough both way and it was a tight game (so could go either way)?
Thanks Aidan, I generally like to keep it super simple by backing with the bookie and laying on the exchange, this is the easiest way and its scalable once your bank grows
Hang on, what happens once you've traded out and bought the back bet if that team then goes on to draw or lose? You've lost the second back bet and have no lay?
Once you cash out on the exchange the loss is fixed on that website regardless of the eventual outcome. Your win is guaranteed with the bookmaker as a result of the 2up taking place, even if the team you backed end up blowing the win. The guaranteed win from the 2up with the bookmaker is always larger than then guaranteed loss from cashing out and hedging on the exchange
Is there a bet choice 50/50 percentage to win for example: (who will win in football match Barcelona or real madrid, if i bet on bacelona, but Real Madrid wins i will lose my money, if barcelona wins i will double my money.)
If Barcelona was at odds of 2.0 on an exchange (50% implied probability) you would double your money if Barcelona won and if Real Madrid won or the match ended as a draw you would lose your money
I'm not sure of the average amount of times I get on a 2up before they hit, however they generally hit pretty commonly and I quite often get a profit, Just keep your QL’s as small as possible and you will be completely fine
0% commission is very beneficial when using larger stakes on the 2up offer. Smarkets offer 0% when you are an oddsmonkey member which is worth taking advantage of.
Does the trade out function on smarkets effectively do the bet that an early pay out calculated would give you after typing in all odds, stakes etc.? That’s so much easier than having to load up calculations for what your back stake should be!
Yes mate, it does the same thing. The early payout calulator is best say you have various lay bets on the same team from other matched betting offers, that will allow you to cash out of the 2up without cashing out the rest of the offers
A lay bet is strictly betting on a team not to win, which can account for the opposing team picking up the win or the match concluding as a draw, you are essentially in the role of a bookmaker when laying on an exchange
seen a few of your vids now have you ever thought about putting a back bet on the over 1.5 + over 2.5 goals and trading out when first goal is scored on the 2 up matches that you do to earn a little extra cash on top of the potentential earnings
Is that a Wigan accent? Nice video mate, been matched betting and trading for years but have always stayed away from 2ups just because I can't be arsed with the variance for a full turnaround and assumed cashing out would be for not much more that the QL. But your example at the start shows there are decent profits from cashing out too 😃
It is indeed, very distinctive I know! Cheers Ben, appreciate it and yeah cashing out can be a great way to lock in some decent profits if you have the bank roll for it! I prefer it over doing the full turnaround strategy myself. Cheers, Liam
Each time a 2up doesn’t hit you will take a small qualifying loss of whatever back stake you used. These losses are very small and once you hit a 2up win they are completely wiped out
What if the team you back is 1 nil up and remains the say score. The lay only covers the draw and loss and the back only wins if your 2 goals ahead. So dont you lose everything?
Hi Craig, It really is a fantastic offer, its very simple and once your comfortable it's also scalable. I've got another video on my channel which goes through the entire process in a step by step format, that vid should give you a full insight into any questions you may have such as working out the stake required on the lay bet
Class mate, this is my focus now my sign ups are done, I'm gonna change my filtered alerts to your recommendation.. is it possible for you to do a video on lay request queuing? You know when you get alerted on like a 98+ you jump on the laptop only to find the rating has decreased, do you personally lay at the alert odds and hope it goes back to the higher rating? Or do you just scrap it and wait again? Appreciate your content mate..
Cheers Ian, appreciate the kind words. This is a good question, it can be really frustrating when the price moves against you on the exchange increasing your qualifying losses on your 2up. However, within the last 60 minutes before kick off there is lots of price movement in the markets after team news has been released, and as you said, if your able to read which direction the market is moving in you will be able to get your position in the queue waiting to get matched. Il make a video in the near future showing how to take advantage of this. Cheers, Liam
Hi Fred, This can vary depending on seasonality, generally 10-20 2up’s per week or somewhere around that area. I tend to use big divisions and competitions such as premier league, championship, champions league etc
I always cash out when the team goes 2 goals up and after the bookmaker pays out my back bet early. You could also go for the ful turnaround strategy which In have done in the past, got a video comming out soon on that strategy.
Good video, what is the approximate (rough) strike rate of 2ups, or asked the other way around, how many matches should I prepare myself to be paying qualifying losses? I know is not exact science, but I would appreciate some kind of rough idea, thanks again for the video
Hi Jose The cash-out strategy has a relatively high strike when sticking with the odds range of 2.0-4.0. I haven’t collected the data on the exact strike rate but they do occur frequently, be sure to keep your QLs to a minimum by taking really tight matches and you will be completely fine and will make a profit every month
Hi Jamie, I try to place 1 or 2 mug accas per week with bet365. Accas are very poor value the the customer and therefore this is what bookmakers want to see their recreational punters betting on. If your using really large stakes on 2up, your mug bet stakes should also be high in relation to this. For example, staking really high for 2up, and then, placing a £5 mug bet acca isn’t going to achieve anything. Mug bet staking in relation to what your staking using your offers is important for maintaining your account for as long as possible. Cheers, Liam
Thanks For the detailed response Liam, it’s very much appreciated. Lastly , you mentioned staking variable to your bank roll. In your opinion when staking greater than £100 per 2UP does your likelihood of getting gubbedd/restricted increase in your experience ?
@@Jamie-nm8ru it’s hard to say for definite, but whatever amount you stake you are always going to be taking value and this is something that bookmakers simply don’t like from their customers. I would be sure to place mug bets in relation to what stakes you use for 2ups to look as natural as possible.
I can't give you a definite answer on that one. If you're using really large stakes which I was showing in this video you will need to be placing a few mug bets each week using big stakes or a gubbing would almost certainly occur very quickly.
So Good evening I’m back, I see you somehow managed to delete my comment of yesterday. I’m just back to say that if anyone had done the spurs game tonight, Yes you would have got a 2up goal score line, but unless you were prepared to send the proposed £300 stake in play into the game, without a pre match lay bet (which would have been some minus £30), and hoped spurs scored first! This is a classic game to illustrate that you will be taking on a shedload of risk with this offer. Yes you will get winners but you will get a lot of losers, be prepared to be in for a bumpy ride. It is nothing like as rosy as is maintained in this video.
YT deletes comments it perceives as being spam. There is no risk long term doing this proving you keep your matches as tight as possible between the bookmakers and the exchange's prices, this way the qualifying loss you will take is small in relation to your back stake and it is already defined before the match starts and goes in-play. The profits and qualifying losses you will take between when this hits and when it doesn't are relative to the stake size that you use, with the wins being exponentially larger than the smaller QLs Whatever happens in the short term including the various losses you are likely to take when going through a rough spell of variance is an irrelevance when matched betting as at the end of each month, after getting on a large volume of 2ups you have a profit.
If you were to do this on a betting exchange where the markets are efficient and the odds represent true probability you would expect to break even over the long term. Although you would win 91% of the time betting at short odds of 1.10 those wins would be really small. However, the 9% of times where your bets didn't win would provide you with large losses. Both the small wins and larger losses will cancel each over out over longer period, you would break even due to the efficiency of the odds on the betting exchange.
Hi Austin, I haven't kept detailed records of month to month profits from doing the 2up offer. Generally, my profits range from around £700-£1000 each month after placing mug bets every week to try and maintain as much account health as I can.
Ok so you say you make £1,000 a month but you don’t keep detailed records! I think it would be wise to inform people you can actually have terrible months where you make sweet fa
Hi mate, I started matched betting back in October of 2019 with just £100 and quickly built my bankroll. For the most part its all been plain sailing, I have made the occasional error here and there but nothing that has cost me any money
@@ProfitPineapple I got about £100 spare, so I may just start - your vids have helped me so much in understanding MB , Thanks 😊 Liam mate, pls keep uploading, they are really welcome 👍
This strategy isn’t about winning every time, it’s a balance of winning and losing. Keep your QL’s as small as possible and your ratings as high as possible. Do this and you will be completely fine and will make a profit at the end of each month
Cheers Harry, appreciate it Yes I do, I wouldn’t create an account then jump in with these stakes straight away as that could flag up on the bookmakers radar. And ultimately you will get gubbed from doing this regardless of what stakes that your using, it’s better to take the value as quickly as you possibly can, whenever an opportunity arises in my opinion . Cheers, Liam
@@livieandsofiathefamilychan6441 You will certainly need to be giving the bookmaker lots of value back by placing mug bets with really large stakes when staking using the amounts shown in this vid!
@@ProfitPineapple not sure mug bets would be enough tbh, I’d be interested to know how long you’ve managed to keep a 365 open with these stakes at 98% plus. Great vids though mate keep up the good work.
@@livieandsofiathefamilychan6441 I’ve had various bookmaker accounts earn way over £5000 more than they have lost, and have remained open for a long period of time. Thanks for watching, appreciate the kind words 😊
You can only do that with 365 yeah? Has your account been restricted ? If so how long did it take ? Have had my PP and Betway accounts limited from just punting not even match betting/trading, another good video btw mate
Hi there, There is also paddy power who run this offer but the odds aren’t great with them and it’s pretty difficult get close to a 98% match. And yeah, I have had accounts restricted from doing 2ups, It takes quite a long time for them to restrict me as I place mug accas with large stakes and lay them on the exchange. Doing this gives the bookie some value at the cost of a qualifying loss
Obviously, football in England and the other major markets closes during the summer. Can you do this on Scandinavian football, and other minor markets that play during the summer, or will that be too suspicious?
Yes gubbings are all part of the game unfortunately, you can either take it on the chin and leave the offer behind or gain access to various bookie accounts and keep hitting the offer hard as it is arguably the best matched betting offer that's still available
@@ProfitPineapple how do you gain access to other bookie accounts? And also why do they ban you for using a feature that they are allowing you to use? It’s so stupid, if they don’t want you to use it why is it even a feature to use?
@@adams768 You would have to speak to trusted friends and family and arrange using accounts in their names. They ban people who continually take value and earn more money than they lose, long term the bookies are only interested in people who lose money which isn't ideal for us matched bettors
Hi Ian, The matches that I target generally have more than enough liquidity for me as they are high quality games such as in the premier league, champions league and the championship. If I ever get on a lower liquid market I just have to fit my stakes in around that and ensure my stakes are at an appropriate size. And yeah just be consistent getting on the 2ups, keep the QL's as small as possible and it all works out rather nicely :)
Hi mate, great video. I'm looking to do these 2ups but how do I get my stakes to £100 without getting gubbed. I currently stake £10-20 on horses/football currently but made to build my stakes upto £100. Any decent method to do that?
Won't the cashout loss on the exchange drift in your favour as the game goes on? Also surely a goal from the losing team would definitely drop the loss? I suppose the danger is a 3rd goal being scored by the 2 up team... Also wouldn't it make sense to combine it with an over/under bet on 1.5 or 2.5 goals?! 🤔
Hi John, The cash out loss will drift and therefore go against you as the price on the draw will be coming in until a goal is scored. Throughout the match, once goals are scored, both your bets between the bookie and the exchange will continually cancel each other out (one cash out will go up and the other will go down). The edge with the offer comes from taking a tight match and therefore a very small QL, and subsequently getting paid out your full profit from Bet365 once your team go 2up.
Great video, but have you done an actual step by step guide of you doing the bets from finding it on odds monkey and then placing them at the bookies and exchange? this would help new people like me a lot plus there don’t seem to be a video on the whole of RUclips showing how.
Hi there, I haven’t done an individual video that goes through every single element chronologically. I have a separate video explaining how to get OM to send you 2up alerts to your email address. I also have a video that goes through the basics of the offer which includes how to cash out on the exchange once your team is 2 goals up. There is a further beginner’s crash course that I have on my website which could also be beneficial to you as your just starting out.
@@ProfitPineapple Thank you, I did find them videos after i posted this but the one i couldnt find was the one if you have multiple bets and how to end the bet at the exchange wth out ending them all.
Granted this isn't the norm, but you will be surprised at the amounts certain customers will bet with sportsbooks. I certainly wouldn't jump from £50 stakes to £500 stakes, with that being said, I have had accounts last a considerable amount of time with larger stakes
Anything that takes value is bad for account health, in my opinion, its probably best to strike while the iron is hot as opposed to being overly cautious with the account, after all, we are all heading for the dreaded gubbings at the end of the day anyway

What if the team you back is 1 nil up and remains the say score. The lay only covers the draw and loss and the back only wins if your 2 goals ahead. So dont you lose everything?
You'll have a small qualifying loss
You will take a small QL between the back bet and the lay bet
This sounds and sounds amazing, how did you work out what the stake would be on your lay bet with the exchange?
Hi Craig,
It really is a fantastic offer, its very simple and once your comfortable it's also scalable.
Cheers,
Liam
How did you get on Ian?
Great tutorial . how can I do this from Nigeria ? .
Using your strategy roughly how many bets do you place each month on 2ups? Also which leagues do you use thanks.
Hi Fred,
This can vary depending on seasonality, generally 10-20 2up’s per week or somewhere around that area.
I tend to use big divisions and competitions such as premier league, championship, champions league etc
Hey buddy, I think I just became your 1000th subscriber ;-) Congrats and a great video too!
Cheers Rick, much appreciated mate 👍
Really good video. Is there a better time/logic to cash out?
I always cash out when the team goes 2 goals up and after the bookmaker pays out my back bet early. You could also go for the ful turnaround strategy which In have done in the past, got a video comming out soon on that strategy.
Very interesting type of betting 🤔
Hi mate, where can I get in touch to join your group?
I have a Patreon page mate, the link is in the video description if you want to check it out
Good video, what is the approximate (rough) strike rate of 2ups, or asked the other way around, how many matches should I prepare myself to be paying qualifying losses? I know is not exact science, but I would appreciate some kind of rough idea, thanks again for the video
Hi Jose
The cash-out strategy has a relatively high strike when sticking with the odds range of 2.0-4.0. I haven’t collected the data on the exact strike rate but they do occur frequently, be sure to keep your QLs to a minimum by taking really tight matches and you will be completely fine and will make a profit every month
How often do you place mug bets per month to help preserve your bet365 account?
Hi Jamie,
I try to place 1 or 2 mug accas per week with bet365.
Cheers,
Liam
Thanks For the detailed response Liam, it’s very much appreciated. Lastly , you mentioned staking variable to your bank roll. In your opinion when staking greater than £100 per 2UP does your likelihood of getting gubbedd/restricted increase in your experience ?
@@Jamie-nm8ru it’s hard to say for definite, but whatever amount you stake you are always going to be taking value and this is something that bookmakers simply don’t like from their customers.
I would be sure to place mug bets in relation to what stakes you use for 2ups to look as natural as possible.
@@ProfitPineapple that is rubbish.. they will realise that !
how long until bet365 gub you doing this strategy? thanks
The profits and qualifying losses you will take between when this hits and when it doesn't are relative to the stake size that you use, with the wins being exponentially larger than the smaller QLs
Whatever happens in the short term including the various losses you are likely to take when going through a rough spell of variance is an irrelevance when matched betting as at the end of each month, after getting on a large volume of 2ups you have a profit.
Do you support that strategy ??
Playing 1000 £ on easy odds like
1000£ x 1.10 per day
If you were to do this on a betting exchange where the markets are efficient and the odds represent true probability you would expect to break even over the long term.
Could you please share your profit for this strategy for the last 6 months of the season? Ideally broken down into monthly p/l
Hi Austin,
I haven't kept detailed records of month to month profits from doing the 2up offer.
Generally, my profits range from around £700-£1000 each month after placing mug bets every week to try and maintain as much account health as I can.
Ok so you say you make £1,000 a month but you don’t keep detailed records! I think it would be wise to inform people you can actually have terrible months where you make sweet fa
Great vid mate. Starting to feel attacked as a Villa fan for you betting against us in all your tutorials however
Great Video 👏🏾
Top video mate, very informative! 👍
Thanks Declan, its surprising how all the small details can make such a big difference with monthly profits.
How much £££ did you start Matched Betting with Liam mate?, and when did you start?, has it all been plain sailing as well?
Hi mate,
I started matched betting back in October of 2019 with just £100 and quickly built my bankroll.
It's Easy saying that but you have to find the team that will go two goals up
This strategy isn’t about winning every time, it’s a balance of winning and losing. Keep your QL’s as small as possible and your ratings as high as possible. Do this and you will be completely fine and will make a profit at the end of each month
Good video mate. Do you put them £1000 bets in one go? Thought that might be a risk of gubbing. Cheers
Cheers Harry, appreciate it
Yes I do, I wouldn’t create an account then jump in with these stakes straight away as that could flag up on the bookmakers radar.
And ultimately you will get gubbed from doing this regardless of what stakes that your using, it’s better to take the value as quickly as you possibly can, whenever an opportunity arises in my opinion .
Cheers,
Liam
@@ProfitPineapple accounts won’t last long with these stakes and consistent 98% plus matches.
I do feel mug betting does help to prolong your accounts and allows your to squeeze more money out but of course, ultimately, it doesn’t change the overall outcome of your accounts.
Thanks for watching, appreciate the kind words 😊
You can only do that with 365 yeah? Has your account been restricted ? If so how long did it take ? Have had my PP and Betway accounts limited from just punting not even match betting/trading, another good video btw mate
Hi there,
There is also paddy power who run this offer but the odds aren’t great with them and it’s pretty difficult get close to a 98% match.
And yeah, I have had accounts restricted from doing 2ups, It takes quite a long time for them to restrict me as I place mug accas with large stakes and lay them on the exchange.
Doing this gives the bookie some value at the cost of a qualifying loss
@@ProfitPineapple how large stakes ?
@@reex8243 This all depends on how much money you have to invest into the strategy, the more you can put in the more you will win essentially
Obviously, football in England and the other major markets closes during the summer. Can you do this on Scandinavian football, and other minor markets that play during the summer, or will that be too suspicious?
u20 world cup is about to start its fairly high profile
@@lolitapitpong3826 ok thanks. I will try that if there's enough liquidity.
Have you ever got gubbed? and if so what did you do?
Hi Pineapple, what do you do about low liquidity?just give up till next time??, also is it more quantity than quality in general 😷💉💉💉✌️
Hi Ian,
The matches that I target generally have more than enough liquidity for me as they are high quality games such as in the premier league, champions league and the championship.
If I ever get on a lower liquid market I just have to fit my stakes in around that and ensure my stakes are at an appropriate size.
And yeah just be consistent getting on the 2ups, keep the QL's as small as possible and it all works out rather nicely :)
Is there a way of identifying matches where one side is likely to go two goals ahead?
Unfortunately not, this is one of the small downsides of 2up, having to take any match that is available
@@ProfitPineapple couldn’t you look at the odds for over/under team goals to give you an idea?
Hi mate, great video. I'm looking to do these 2ups but how do I get my stakes to £100 without getting gubbed. I currently stake £10-20 on horses/football currently but made to build my stakes upto £100. Any decent method to do that?
Thanks for watching mate. The best way to do it is gradually I would say, every couple of bets continue to increase your stakes
Difficult to get liquidity for such large bets
Won't the cashout loss on the exchange drift in your favour as the game goes on? Also surely a goal from the losing team would definitely drop the loss? I suppose the danger is a 3rd goal being scored by the 2 up team... Also wouldn't it make sense to combine it with an over/under bet on 1.5 or 2.5 goals?! 🤔
Hi John,
The cash out loss will drift and therefore go against you as the price on the draw will be coming in until a goal is scored.
Show, don't just tell.
Hi there,
I have various videos on my channel which show how to work through each aspect of the 2up offer in a step by step format
If you still have an acc with bet365 then you are a losing customer 💯 Fact
lol says not to target odds over 4...........Arsenal 7.00 £100 lol
😂😂😂❤️
Won't you stand out to bet365 if you're placing £500 bets?
Granted this isn't the norm, but you will be surprised at the amounts certain customers will bet with sportsbooks. I certainly wouldn't jump from £50 stakes to £500 stakes, with that being said, I have had accounts last a considerable amount of time with larger stakes
Do you have a telegram group you post tips out to?
@profit pineapple I heard staking over £100 was bad for account health
Anything that takes value is bad for account health, in my opinion, its probably best to strike while the iron is hot as opposed to being overly cautious with the account, after all, we are all heading for the dreaded gubbings at the end of the day anyway
