If you find odds above 100%, where the back price at the bookmaker is higher than the lay price at the exchange then this is an arb and would get accounts restricted quickly. I've never seen a gamble ridden that long, I think that's my problem, getting out too soon a lot of the time. There was so many times I would have got out there. But you rarely see something come in like that, that's a massive gamble. It was helped by the fact it was a novice of course but don't expect to do a trade like this very often.

Enjoyed the video thanks. You mention that when using this method you are not arbing the bookmaker as you are taking the value from the exchange not the bookmaker. You say the reason for this is that you are taking a poor price on the place bet from the bookmaker rather than a high price. However i don't see how this is the case as you are still actually getting a higher price from the bookmaker for the place bet and laying it off at a lower price on the exchange just like a normal bookmaker arb albeit a bit more disguised. So when you say this is the opposite of a normal arb where you are instead taking value from the exchange i don't see how this is true. Please can you or someone else reading this comment let me know if i have missed something. Thanks

Well shit me!! You've just made me realise what the popular X tipsters have been playing at all this time!! They spot the value already in the market before time, tip to their followers (say on a football pick) and show all their proof "this is an overpriced bet, look at the price on these couple of bookies in comparison", all the time while having a lay bet on it.. then as the market moves with all the followers bets, they can then cash out their lay bet just before the game starts and pocket the odds movement as profit 🤦‍♂️ sneaky mofos 🙄
