I think what’s really happening here is there has been a sharp move at 2 minutes as there always is and there is value betting and hedging in the final minute which is usually pretty standard. I don’t think it’s gd enough to just label this as a strategy bc there’s far too many variables in the market to just say that the hot fav is gonna be backed. A novice will c this and it’s gonna force their hand and it may work for them a few times but it won’t be long before it goes tits up and they’ll be in a loss and it just downward spirals from there.

Great channel. I find the biggest swings occur on horses typically in the 10-12/1 range, but yes, the moves on the shorter priced favourites offer great opportunities. Place markets too, just before the off. Some comments that you're gambling, which you are of course, but within some pretty well established patterns.

You don't mention what happened in the previous ( unseen ) races , having first said that was important? You don't say if the previous fav won , lost , fell etc to influence the races you traded.

If you find odds above 100%, where the back price at the bookmaker is higher than the lay price at the exchange then this is an arb and would get accounts restricted quickly. Betconnect could be used to back prices at the same price as the bookmaker’s value bet however if you’re not matched in time it wouldn’t work and you can’t then go to the exchange to lay it off for the profit.

I've never seen a gamble ridden that long, I think that's my problem, getting out too soon a lot of the time. There was so many times I would have got out there. But you rarely see something come in like that, that's a massive gamble. It was helped by the fact it was a novice of course but don't expect to do a trade like this very often.
