3 things......If you consistently win (even small wins) with online bookies they will limit your stakes or close your account. If you win in betting shops, they will monitor your business then make the process of you placing a bet, a big problem ,like asking for proof of your earnings or bank balance .Finally you will get more leeway with the exchanges but essentially, in the end and if you are a winner they will just ask for proof of earnings that allows you to bet large ,even though you are betting with your profits made from their exchange.

Until you get like what happened in 1929 when the stock market crashed and prices didn't get back to that level until 1953. Alot people jumping from windows in the early 30s

OK I get the theory. But what do you do when selecting a race and preparing to bet like this? Dp you just take any race where the bookie will pay 25% of the win odds on Place 1-4 and then bet e/w on every horse? Or do you still go through the spreadsheet routine to check other things? If so what extra features/calculations do you need to see before you bet?

It's a good ETF to invest in long term say 10 yrs plus. There's always the chance of a crash. We haven't had a proper crash for over a decade so it's overdue! If you're thinking of retiring in the near future I would be cautious.
