I just started with this video and I am very excited. I have a rare form of migraine headaches that make my neck stiff and affects the right side of my body like a slight stroke would. Most exercise or exertion will make me have more of these headaches. But, at the same time if exercise does not give me a headache then it can decrease the amount of headaches. So far, this video has not made me have more, so thank you, thank you :-) I am currently out of work from this condition...I look forward to this video everyday and I can't wait to move up to something more.

I've already commented on this. But I do this routine almost every other day. I feel like in the beginning, instead of saying "Namaste beautiful yogis" She should say "Namaste people who are suffering from TMJ or rotator cuff injuries and all people who are miserable wallowing in immobile pain with their neck and upper back who can't afford a chiropractor at the moment"

I woke up this morning with a terrible headache, accompanied with some pain around my neck and shoulders. This routine got me feeling much better, I've used it several times to remedy headaches, neck tension, etc. Even though it is supposedly geared towards beginners, I feel that this routine is a stand-alone headache remedy for people at any fitness level.
Ali, this is a great beginner class to get me back into your classes after spending 48 hours with 70 kids and 160 people on a bus to the snow. I'm exhausted and missed your classes for 4 days. Can't wait to get back to normal. Thank you for this stretch.

Thank you for the video. I recently had a bike accident on top of previous back injuries. The first time I did this video, I was not only able to sleep, I felt refreshed that morning I woke up. I haven't felt this good since last summer after riding 30 miles in a bike event.

After a car accident two months ago where I got rear-ended and suffered a pretty bad whiplash, after physical therapy which made me feel better only by 10% this video did wonders for my neck and thoracic spine and muscles. I hope it'll be here forever. Thanks for the help.

Beautiful yoga video. The music was amazing and helped me relax and melt into the poses, and some of the stretches were a little different from what a lot of instructors do.

TY so much for doing this so we can easily follow. I have 4 back conditions, and get headaches from my neck being as it is from the scoliosis which has my neck, head out aways from my body. This felt SOooo GOOD ! Appreciated,, will pass on to site I belong to where many others are also in pain.

I enjoyed this, and as a beginner, it wasn't asking too much from me physically which is pleasant, however I did find it moved too quickly in some parts.

Sometimes It is so hard to sustain yoga off the mat when you really need to recharge on the mat in a quiet space> I liked this video very much and it was kinda kundalini like for me as I could really settle in with my eyes closed for the poses> Satnam Ali. Rock On! Love the water and earth where you are at. I practice a lot here in SC along the Savannah River and I'm going to the coast for the holiday> I am so excited to feel the salty air and smell it and hear the waves and the sensation of sand all in my toes...my college sweetheart is taking me and my family and we are going to rock out beach yoga. I got my training a couple of years ago in Athens GA at Rubbersoul Yoga> Though I've been practicing for 20 years off/on. I haven't taught in a year now as I got very ill with stress and exhaustion four years ago> So I have been rebuilding my strength and peace through diet,herbs, yoga/meditation. Great video. Just one suggestion: for me as a beginner, I still need to see the transitions sometimes and the voice is not in sync what the teacher is doing. Sometimes she is already finished with the transition and in a totally different position.

I can't even sit crossleged without falling of balance because my back is arched and sitting straight is painful so should I relax while having bended back (head falls forward) or should I try to maintain straight posture while enduring pain? Thank you

Hi Ali I am curious about this class during pregnancy. Is it ok to do all the twist? I know it is in your pregnancy section but I want to make sure? Thank you
It is ok while the belly is small but not deep twists at all. Mostly in the upper back just as a little bit of movement. Of it feels uncomfortable adjust, modify or skip them.
