I love this so muuch. I just finished following through this and although mine doesn't look as clean, it still looked pretty! The lines and color scheme made this piece so appealing to me.
Thanks for another great image! I'm curious... do draw your lines using a start/stop/start motion because you're figuring out the next move, or because it adds visual interest to the line? Or both?
Hello Mr Sheeler one e agin you have made my day I say every time this one is my favorite and then along comes another beauty I feel like you are my friend and I so look forward to seeing you on my tv it seems every Saturday thank you for giving me so much pleasure at my age I spend a lot of time alone I’m going to paint his one today I like to paint on ceramic tiles but I have to use sharpie pens and alcohol do you have any other suggestions on what sort of ink I could use I’m not so good at water color which I really want to use I just keep trying thank you mr Peter Sheeler you are one of a kind
I love this concept, Peter! Farm-land cut up into quilt patterns is sometimes how it looks in real-life. It sure does when looking down from a plane. Slight suggestion: When you draw the straight lines inside of the background trees/bushes: change it up to be some round strokes too. My ex-wife (this is not the reason I divorced her!) always said the straight vertical lines in the trees/bushes always distracted her from the rest of the painting. The lines seemed fake to her and I tend to agree.
Nooo! I love the straight lines in the trees! I think my brain fills in a lot here because Peter’s way of drawing a stand of distant trees with the straight lines - first, makes me see a stand of trees, and secondly has encouraged me to draw trees this way - the first time I’ve felt happy with drawing distant trees, I love them! Good job we’re all different and like different things, I always found trees difficult but now I do feel I can draw them and they look like trees! 🤗
I do like the lines, but I know Peter can do better than that. The rest of his paintings are true-to-life, except the trees. I am his biggest fan and have watched him paint for years. #PeterRocks!
Thank you kindly for sharing this. Much appreciated. I’m inspired and can’t wait to “follow along”. 😊
Once again: A lovely painting. And time well spend watching your hand dancing the colors onto the paper.
Thank you.

I know it's a few months old but I have a question. Why hot pressed instead of cold?
