Wonderful painting, Peter! I really like the texture of the roof, muted grass colors, shadows, and background trees. In regards to the trees: I like that you have applied more detail that looks like tree trunks and branches. This solves my earlier comments about not caring much for the quickly drawn lines that you have done in the past. Spot on, great work!

I assume you’re working from a photo. Can you show that photo while you draw?
Mr. Sheeler usually does these from his imagination with no reference photo.
Just a curious uninformed question: why do you use hot pressed paper rather than cold pressed?
