Amanda Douridas and Daniel Call Captioned

Amanda Douridas, Extension educator for Champaign County, is always looking for ways to add an economic value to her trials. She's working with producer Daniel Call on soil health and moisture. While cover crops may add costs and time, the end result - healthier soil - provides even greater value in improved yield. This has been a challenging year due to the flash drought early in the season. Amanda and Daniel are hoping their trial shows how cover crops help maintain soil moisture.
