Zenvo Aurora: 1,850bhp V12 Quad-Turbo Monster! | Top Gear

- Yes, papa’s got a brand new bag… actually two, because both versions of this new 1,850bhp Zenvo Aurora are wild V12 hybrids. Welcome the new Aurora Tur, and Aurora Agil. While they service different ambitions - the former built for long distance road trips, the latter for attacking the track - both are armed with a brand new 6.6-litre quad-turbo V12. Developed by Mahle Powertrain, and able to punch out a cool 1,250bhp on its own while revving to 9,800rpm, both versions also get a seven-speed gearbox with an electric motor nestled inside, adding a further 200bhp. In the track-focused Agil that means a rear-drive hypercar with 1,450bhp, but in the Aurora Tur, there’s an additional pair of electric motors (one on each front wheel) for four-wheel-drive and the full nutjob 1,850bhp and 280mph.

I've been rooting for them since their twincharged TS1. It's like they're taking every car guy's wildest fantasies and making them reality, you can tell they aren't creatively held back by businessmen.

If you're tracking your car, you want an ICE engine, not a pig heavy EV that is only good in the straights

Rimac with carbon everything, 2000hp AWD , got absolutely spanked by a souped up 911 on the nurburgring with 500hp.
EVs are just dragster, if you want to corner or have fun, ICE u A LOT better.
EVs are good at daily driving, much better than EVs, I daily an EV and would never go back to ICE again. But for driving pleasure or just drive fast, ICE is A LOT better than EV until EVs can sort their weight problem.

Loved that swiveling gauge idea. Zenvo is right to keep screens out of sight, that's one of the main things that dates an interior after a few years.
Loved the Zenvo brand, hope they can make some ripples into the auto market with this new launch!

Stunning cars. The Agil is so striking - it is reminiscent of the Valkyrie, the Senna, and the Jesko, but with it's own original thing going on. Although The TSR-S gets mixed reviews for its looks it's obviously no joke, but these cars might just be one of the biggest ever step-ups between generations. Well done Zenvo.

Zenvo is proving that innovation doesn't always have to come from the giants in the industry. It's like they took the raw power of the TSR-S, refined it into elegance, and still managed to keep that rebellious spirit alive. Also, anyone else think this could be the car James Bond drives if he went rogue? 😎🔥

They remind me of the Aston Martin Valkryrie,,love all the holes and see through areas on this car. The blue one with the AWD is for me, specked out in a midnight blue exterior with an aquamarine bule interior with white stitching

Zenvo Arora Tur can easily do a 6:30 record lap at the nurburgring, but Zenvo doesn't do timed runs at Nurburgring, just like Koenigsegg.
Nothing easy about it in anything by anyone.
@@mtnvalley9298 what do you mean? It's both lighter by 250 kg compared to AMG One and has more power 1850 vs 1036.
AMG one did 6:35, this should do 6:30 going by the numbers alone.
Not the Tur but the Agil can definitely do a sub 6:30 lap. Tur doesn't have the downforce for a track like Nürburgring!
