- The Zenvo Aurora has only just been introduced to the world, and we're here with Zenvo's Head of Design, Christian Brandt, to really get under the skin and find out what goes into creating the dream hypercar. With the most incredible reception at Car Week, we can now find out all about it!
Having taken a first look at both Aurora Agil and Aurora Tur during the private preview that Zenvo hosted ahead of Monterey Car Week, now that the world has seen the new cars it's great to take an even more in depth look with Christian Brandt, Head of Design at Zenvo, and really start to understand more about it. Focusing on the plans and concept behind the cars, through to how that's executed to remain a Zenvo in design, yet a complete shift ahead in technology and materials.
We're going to fully explore the TSR-S to Aurora shift, learn more about both Aurora models, and plenty of fascinating parts of the process to create and design such a car, that you would never normally consider. It's both a huge congratulations to the Zenvo team on what they've managed to introduce, and a thank you to Christian for his time to show us around Aurora in more detail.

I've always loved Zenvo, and cheered for their success. I'm so glad they've gotten to where they are today. I'm very excited for their future. Such a striking design.

That's a real step up with the cars. Very nice to see the essentially start of the company on the come up like Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini.. Be really nice to see many more of them in customers hands..

4:13 That is so interesting!! In photography (and in fact many other art forms), we sometimes talk about the 'rule of thirds' as it is a compositional or artistic means by which to create more dramatic shots. That they've encompassed this within the design DNA of their cars is absolutely fantastic to hear!

They already gave him a free one, come on! Aka the only Zenvo we have seen driven by anybody so far on the internet, which is very important publicity for Zenvo.
No doubt! I think they would have done better hiring Shmee to do this coverage in its entirety. He's done a far better job to this point than the actual designer guy, disparaging his previous design as an "old lady". I felt that when he said it, as I'm sure Shmee did; as I see you did as well.@@sub-bt5ig

The new Zenvo is the most exciting and best looking hypercar of 2023. They NAILED the design and the specs are very promising.
This kind of technically focused content is why I follow Tim. I know more about cars at the end of his videos, than I did at the start. Plus the reason how he ended up using Schmee150 as his tag is something I can relate to as a retired IT consultant.

Fascinating to listen to "another" Scandinavian auto genius called Christian ! The more I look at Aurora, the more I loving this design. I can imagine Agil or Tur in the purple painted uppers with tinted carbon lower aero - just like Tims TSRS (when he upgrades to Aurora perhaps) ?!
I pray Tim can swap his TSRS for a Tur - the channel would explode!!! Respectfully never been a fan of the TSRS but the new models look magnificent!!!!

My issue with Zenvo has always been the cars looks were a little underwhelming for what the performance of the car offered. The Aurora solves that. Glad they are in a new chapter that looks amazing.

@@MegaDRKSTRa valkyrie looks completely different from the Aurora, there’s literally no comparison between the 2 besides the V12. The Valkyrie is incredibly uncomfortable to drive anywhere besides a track, it sounds terrible at idle, it looks great but not similar looks to the Aurora, the interior is minuscule in size. All of that for a beast on the track and great looks, that’s the only reason for a Valkyrie bcos on track nothing competed beside the Project 1 for road legal cars. Aurora is much more than that. Terrible comparison

An object lesson in how airflow affects car design. This man can ‘see airflow’, much like Adrian Newey. I think Zenvo have knocked it out of the park with these two designs, the highlights of this years car shows in the USA. Zenvo deserve great success with these cars, and I love the thought that they are continuing with V12 ICE power!

At first I was not impressed with the analog dash, as it didn't seem hypercar esq. Then you rotated them to reveal the display. It actually blew me away. I think that is such an incredible idea.

I won't be surprised if he's already got one on order cuz he definitely got a sweet discount on the TSR-S and might've gotten it on the Aurora as well
I don't think he can afford to put the deposit down until the Senna sells.
He would need to sell a few cars to do that especially with the fact that he has a good amount of cars coming in and ppl also want him to buy the Mustang GTD.
