- And it was all going so well.
With my EZ-POND delivered and in place it was time to get the plumbing sorted.
I chose my pipework plan, set it all out, glued and completed it and then it was time for the big fill; this is where disaster struck and stopped my dead in my tracks.

I have a 500i, and the guys were really helpful with the problems I had but not as drastic as yours.
I know there is a team that will come out and sort any problems. Seen a 500i where it had to be cut in half to get it into the garden and then put it back together.
TBH Allan was outstanding, really thorough and professional approach to dropping my drain and resetting it. He even bought 2 new ones and all the couplings with him in case he had to replace the unit👍. Good news is that I’ve just filled it back up and as at 22:20 the floor was bone dry😊. Not counting my chickens yet but if it’s still dry in the morning I will be a happy man 😊👍
Looking super tidy Phil, done a superb job fitting everything in a tight space. Sorry to see its sprung a leak, very frustrating for you i can well imagine.😢 however every cloud has a silver lining, at least it can be fixed relatively simple and its not concreted in so look on the bright side😊👍 look forward to the next update 🙂

Evening Richard🖐. EZPOND came out on Sunday and removed and reset the bottom drain. Left it 36hrs to cure and started filling again tonight….all looking good so far🤞🤞🤞

The plumbing set up looks absolutely immaculate and well though out so who would have expected a leak from the factory installed and sealed (supposedly) component. Hopefully the EZ Pond folks can get it sorted when they visit. 🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻

That’s is a right pain in the back hopefully they will get something sorted for you /you would think the money they are they would fill them and wet test them b 4 they went out but then it could of got banged in transport? Fingers crossed they help you out and short the problem

The ball valve should be adjustable. The gray piece on the handle should pop off and be able to use to adjust the tightness of the handle. Just don't loosen it to much.

Oh Phil what a pain in the !#@$ . That's really annoying , life throws these things at us occasionally but I'm sure the company will get you sorted in quick time especially as your on RUclips documenting it to the masses. It certainly is a great product, just one of those things and you will be up and running in no time

Bummer Mate not a lot more you can say the screws in the plate look to have split the screw in points i would guess they test the tanks after they are made up so the bottom must have had a knock in transit to you

No, leak was too bad and needed to be sorted at source rather than trying to patch it. Ezpond came out and completely removed the bottom drain and reset and revealed the whole unit so I have high hopes that it’s sorted🤞🤞🤞
Wont you have trapped air in the uv?
