Hello sir, my board is different from what you are using. Im using arduino with pic1650 Micro controller on it So I cant plug the 5v of the motor driver to the arduino... It is possible to just plug the 5v of the motor driver to the 5v of the arduino which located to the side of the arduino board?
You are connecting the positive of the battery to motor shield and negative from motor shield to gnd of UNO board and third connection in the motor shield is connected to which part of the UNO board
Ok check duration rate , or change some , so you robo now work then earlier , also provide delay , so you work as per Requirements because Rpm of motor is dependent on turn rate, thank you for sharing problems

Yes , but if speed high then reduce pwm value , or delay also change as per Requirements . Because I set delay as per my condition.
