Actually, the first 2,000 goes to the Wife, then everything goes much smoother. Selfishness on the husband's part is obvious. No furniture of any kind, just subs and speakers.

I bought myself a yamaha subwoofer last year and my wife knew right up it'll bring problems. After 7 months we got kicked out of the apartment because of me playing all day after work with this frickin thing. Now we finally bought a house and I can shake every inch of it. You know sometimes it's just more than a driver and a cabinet, it brings fun in our lives 🙏😊
Yamaha' subs aren't even patch on these
My wife and I have dual PSA TV2112s in our LR. They sound great. You get used to the size.

My wife and my always saw things 180 degrees differently. Whenever we'd get a couple grand from a tax return, I would suggest we update our home theater, which would bring years of enjoyment. She'd instead prefer to spend it all on clothing, which wouldn't be worn anymore 6 months down the road.

I have a stupid question. Is there a difference between home subwoofers and car subwoofers?
Yes. With most car subwoofers audio quality I’d completely forfeited to maximize raw output even if it sounds like shit. Home theatre subwoofers and even home theatre sub kits are more expensive for the “same output’ but they’re gonna sound much much much better. More flat and less distortion.
Just stand it upright and have it downfiring, the grille will provide the spacing needed for the woofer and ports, much more waf friendly.
As a bonus you will have ease of access to the controls.
This grill would get crushed with the weight of this thing and the ports would probably make a ton of noise with anything withing 1ft of it. 🙂

It's a good alternative if the depth is an issue, although I admit because the cover is not pegged in you would need something else to rest it on, like speaker feet or something

How does the monolith 13 compare to the pb3000 or pb4000?
I only have the SB3000, never tested the PB4000. It's way bigger than the SB3000.
