Sway I have a friend who works for GO and there tip is ALWAYS NO MATTER WHAT IT IS LOOK FOR EXPIRATION DATES!
As in you get it for more discount ?

My relatives moved to Oregon in the early 90s. Whenever I’d go visit, we’d go to the grocery stores, on a budget, of course, & they told me about GO. Back then you really did have to look at expiration dates, since a lot of their food was expired. But ever since they started opening stores in CA I’ve noticed a lot cleaner, nicer stores & not as much food that’s expired. Plus they have a ton of OR brands, such as Umpqua, Coffee People others. I love it! And yes it’s sad that The 99¢ store didn’t make it but they sure had the deals for many years. I always said they threw poor ppl a bone at that store! 😁 But I was happy they did. One of my last finds was a large package of American cheese slices from the brand Wahlburgers, delish, for $2.99. I hope GO gets those same finds & prices. I do love GO’s frozen, meat & deli foods, their eggs, creamers & iced coffee section. And their dry goods aren’t bad. Plus they have tons of snacks.
If you drink wine, GO has a good selection and good prices, constant sales, and every year around Fall (or maybe more often now) have a 20% off sale. I quit shopping at Sprouts long ago when their prices went way up and now there's a huge price difference between a lot of non-meat options there and at GO. I just constantly compare prices/check weekly ads and save a lot.
That Blue Corn Masa is a deal!! It's a really good brand.
Im so glad you made this! I live in south jersey and we're always the last to get anything! We're getting a grocery outlet soon and ive been dying to see whats inside. I eat mostly plant based so appreciate you taking your time in that nosh area! Im excited now. The sign for our new store is up so i just gotta wait. I dont think itll replace trader joes for me but its a hell of alot closer so itll be a great in between shopping trips place to run in and grab stuff real quick. Thanks so much!!
Make sure to add more greens to your diet. All that processed food needs to be balanced with fresh produce. Thanks for all the tips, though.
Wow, the Gardein products are such a great price. The Amy’s meals are pretty yummy also. I noticed Amy’s Veggie Loaf on one of the shelves, which is one of my favorites-but I don’t buy very often since they’re expensive where I live. Sway, I’d love to see you give a food review on some of those veggie meals!

I'm signed up online to get Grocery Outlet weekly ads and daily specials, based on my closest store, which is a franchise, and I actually prefer it to others. But anytime you want to check other locations, it's easy.

Their clearance when you can find it is a real score. You can get some unbeatable buys when they do have clearance. The one near me also gets green and brown eggs that are outstanding. I go there for the eggs. GROCERY OUTLET BARGAIN MARKET. This was also my mothers favorite store.
