I don’t think enough credit went to the music editor for this series. The use of licenced music throughout the show is too perfect at times.
I was gonna say the needle drops in this episode were fucking fuego. "The Sun Is Shining Down", and "Lochloosa" by JJ Grey & Mofro, right?
I was 15 in 2020 when i was rewatching this show for a second time (with a better sense of mind). And it literally gave me the best music taste I could ever have lol
Now I remember where I had heard the "glory glory hallelujah" song! It was so long ago I first heard the song in this episode about 10/12 years ago.. and kept it in my RUclips song playlist and forgot where I had heard it first.. Now I am reminded after all this time..! This series has turned me to so many songs and so many artist, can't believe it!

This has to be one of the funniest episodes, especially the part where Wilson and Chase find the prayer guide

How can it be that every time when house hits a dead end of his diagnosis, Wilson has the answer to wich comes randomly unexpected for the patients problem?
How can it be that every time when a patient comes in, the team misdiagnoses them 1-3 times and their treatment makes things worse?
It's a formulaic show, make of that what you will.

That actually happens a lot that that Wilson gives him the answer. It’s that he’s already been thinking about it and talking with Wilson triggers some thing that helps him get to where he needs to go. I can tell you that that actually happens a lot in a hospital setting.

Because of the title, I thought this was an episode in which House slept with Wilson's mother. I've got to say I'm quite disappointed.

Probably my favourite House episode, just the way it completely snowballs for Wilson from one stupid poster (well a case of missing p*rn I suppose), to a massive poster and everyone repeating that brilliant line. Also the title would make an interesting team name if you are still considering it.

Wilson talking about how “out there” House is resonates with me. Maybe that’s why I like House so much, he’s a character I can resonate with.
House is a genius. You're an average person who has convinced themselves that they are not average.
Finding ''a mind that you recognize'' is not what it's cracked up to be. You can understand how their mind works and even see bits of yourself in that... but still be vastly different people with different outlooks and have little in common otherwise.

Wilson is the shows unsung hero. Imagine if he had instead said, "you should visit him and bring biscuits with you". "Biscuits. That is it." Also, he is right about House being able to pull the "hi, you slept with my mom" thing.

i love this episode - but the video is actually from Season 6e14 (video description is wrong) . the patient here is a blogger (Frankie) who documents every second of her life, including details of her relationship with her boyfriend . at 1:22 you can see her typing one of her blog posts, from a scene that opens the episode
So what was the reason for her being sick?
Uh, this video seems from 6e15. The description seems correct to me. 6e14 is "5 to 9" and heavily focuses on Cuddy's day.
@@Dhari1 yea i got the episode numbers wrong, it actually is 15 but the video description is for e.16 (i'm quite sure) - "Black Hole" , while the video shows bits from "Private Lives" (e.15)

Something with her heart. Don't remember the reason, but she needed a new valve. Which meant, she had to decide between a pigs valve and an artificial one. Problem was, one of them needs to be replaced after 10 years, but the other requires blood thinners, so she wouldn't be able, to safely have a baby.
Which caused some drama with her boyfriend and her having to rethink her priorities and life planning. All of which she shared publicly, which caused more drama. I think, it was more about that, then the actual diagnosis.
But don't take my word for it, it's been awhile 😉

Confused by this comment. The point of that episode was that the electroconvulsive therapy at 'straight camp' 1) didn't actually turn him straight (duh), and 2) exacerbated his neck issue, ultimately causing his symptoms. How is this homophobic?
@@analogpark8059 “this episode is about homosexuality leading to health problems.” - if they did this would it it be homophobic? In other words: are you only saying it’s not homophobic because you don’t like conversion therapy? Are you aware that lots of gays do like conversion therapy? This is like saying “transitioning is bad because here’s an example of them doing it in a really harmful way
