Nice informative video. Just a few things which I found a bit surprising.
1. Not all companies (most) will give overtime for extra work. That you will be paid even for 1 hour extra work for every job may happen in Japan but not here.
2. Gift packages and bonuses for Easter and Christmas for all employees are never heard of. Nothing like that in the majority of companies... may be in the NHS.
3. The UK is a welfare country and so tax cuts and provident funds are not entirely lost. It will be added to your pension fund and other benefits which you already mentioned.
what you have said is very true..”when employers value your time, it’s like they’re valuing and giving importance to us..” most people unfortunately don’t understand this.. even if we are able to earn and save well in the Gulf, if we are not able to enjoy our life and time with our family, then there’s no use of all the saved money…

@@SteejoynerUK agree, complete migration aanu aim engil uae is not the best place. As you mentioned in the video if your aim is to make money and return back to your home country UAE is the best especially if you landed in a very good firm (though everyone will not have that luxury).
But UAE is trying their best to make the standard better - few egs are recent off days shift from friday, Saturday to Saturday and Sunday, golden visa for investors, investor visa and many more.
Do they give pension once you retire?
How are you going to survive if you are not very rich for your daily maintenance ?
Once the grativity they pay you at the end of the service will not be able to live until you die. Off course you can sell it and go back home.
After being 10 yrs in Dubai , took a decision to move UK . I strongly believe tht was the wise decision as I hv no plan to settle in india .And me n my hus could earn reasonable amount in dubai ,however I couldn't save much in dubai ( not willing to live in shared apartment as we hv only one life n need freedom) . Mostly salary in dubai goes to rent +utility bill + Internet bill+ car loans + personal loans + supprt family ) could save small amount of saving however tht will finish when yearly holidays to India and end up with credit cards debts then work to pay back n cycle goes on .
Definitely will miss the vibe of dubai in UK.
Same like living in india it's a permanent of living , work ,pay bills live peacefully as no fear of loosing job . Beautiful places, good in traveling ,we can live with one person salary in uk and save the other person's 75% salary . UK has rules , human rights ,
Pensions, kids education is free. Free medical . Career growth , Good standard of living with family . I love this country as I hate warm weather 🙃.

Very true what you said about savings in Dubai
Same here, worked in Government of Dubai for 16 years and l managed to save money for a house in kerala. Most of my money was paid for rent and school fees for my kids. Off course had a good life in Dubai but I came to UK for my kids education. I mortgaged a home in UK with in 2 years, kids paid their tuition fees only in the university level. The government paid loans for their university except the eldest who studied as an international student. He managed to pay his fees by doing part-time work with very minimal help from parents. Other 2 will pay their loans until 60 years then it will be written off. They are paying very little amount from their monthly wages except for the youngest will be paying from September as he is starting his job after his post Graduation. By the grace of God children did well, got job with out struggling much and doing well in their career. If I stayed in Dubai then I don't know about their future in India because of the high competitions for job. If l have to pay rent then my home is for at least £1400/month but I pay 800 for my mortgage. I wish I could have been here earlier so that I could save some money from my rent(Dubai) and school fees, plus I could finish my mortgage by now. God has a plan that is why it was delayed. I prefer cold than hot weather like now, and the pay is equal for all nationalities unlike Arab countries. People who have complaints they always do it wherever they are. I know l am paying tax and national insurance. I will get state pension and free medical treatment when I am not working. If I am still alive at least I will get both state and NHS pension for survival. Praise God for all his mercies up on us.

If you have a chance to get higher positions then gcc is better.. because along with high salary they will provide family accommodation, car, travel allowance , food allowance etc.. I know many persons working with all this allowances.. and there is no tax.. you can save all your money.. entertain more or invest more.... but in uk it is not possible.. that is why many western country citizens working in uae kuwait etc.. they said that they save more money in gcc countries than their home country... the same time if you will not get a higher position then western countries is better.. because without considering profession or salary everyone can live with family but savings will be less..
the best way is to go for higher studies in western countries then work some years there then come to gcc.. with that western experience you will get very higher salary with all allowances .. My brother completed mtech from uk and was an engineer there for 7 years.. then he migrated to qatar with heavenly salary than uk with all allowances... now he is earning more traveling more entertaining more and saving more and happy..

If you have enough money then you can choose a university in inner London and there you will get the same vibe as you are getting in Dubai. Expenses will be high but you can live a high standard life and in mainland there are multiple options to get white color job after studies.
