Best review of this camera ever my man, it tops even The Camera Store Tv's overview. believe me I know how extensive it can be shooting narrating and editing a review like this. Respect
Maarten Heilbron your review was very extensive which was great. but if I let's say just bought the camera as a beginner could you tell me some tips for cinematic shots, good stills and low light. thanks
Thanks for the kind words, they're always appreciated. The comments area on YouTUbe is hardly the place to provide basic information about photography - I'm sure you'll find what you need with a search on RUclips.
I'm going to reiterate what all other commenters said -- excellent, dense review. I'm considering a G7 and this video provided just the information I needed.
+TechTablets.com I see you've found it, I hope it was helpful. In my mind, it's not really comparable. At the moment, Panasonic's 4K video features are quite a bit ahead of the rest - unless you're considering an A7S (or A7Sm2) with a Shogun, but that's a substantially different ballpark.
+Maarten Heilbron Very helpful, but I see what you mean. The Nikon 1 J5 isn't what I'm after. I'm looking at this G7 or the smaller, but fully featured RX100M now. Thanks for your reply.Sony CyberShot DSC-RX100 IV
+TechTablets.com If you are considering the RX100M3 ruclips.net/video/PMcYrkyJyjI/видео.html or RX100M4 ruclips.net/video/Cp3OGF-Pho4/видео.html, also consider the Panasonic LX100 ruclips.net/video/_Lhsrc9oG5U/видео.html - also a very capable 4K performer.
The lens I like best, particularly for video, is the 14-42 - which is a good place to start. If you need other specialized lenses later, you'll figure that out. There are lots of inexpensive longer zooms in the M4/3 range that are really not suited to video, so beware the bundle.
I agree with others that this was a stellar review of a camera. Extremely detailed and just the right pace. While it was 12 minutes long I never one felt bored or that it wasn't getting to the point. Extremely well done review.
That's the exact review I was looking for. Detailed, exhaustive, with great views and menu explorations and still, short enough and catchy. I've been looking for my first camera for the last 2 years, hesitated a lot, but now I'm completely seduced! Thanks big time and keep up the good work, you might have the best review composition I've seen on YT.
Maarten. You deserve the walk of fame star. There is no one who can give a camera review the way you can. I have listened to the top name people on you tube. Tobyrec Tony Northrup, Camerastore, Yuri? Cannot pronounce last name, and dozens of others. You helped me make up my mind. Can't thank you enough.
+marc rave y I'm blushing from your very kind words - that's exalted company. Thank you very much, it's always nice to hear that my videos have been appreciated.
By far the best G7 review I've seen, detailed info with a great understanding of the camera and really nice looking images both still and video. Thanks.
I am in awe. First of all, thank you for this comprehensive review. I got here because Ian trying to decide between Canon M3 and LUMIX G7. May I ask for your thoughts?
It's always my pleasure, and it's so nice to read your kind words. Between the two, I'd probably choose the G7. Although the M3 has a larger sensor, it's overall handling and the lack of native lenses make it less attractive to me.
Very nice and detailed review. I got the G7 with the 14-140mm kit lens for 599€, I can't wait to use it and your video gives me even more desire to put my hands on it!

I have never in my life seen a review for any product as amazing as this. I felt like I was in a beach house listening to the ocean "Your voice" , haha subscribed!!! and I'm definitely picking this camera up.
After watching your video, I feel like a filmmaking expert. I now know where to come for any camera review. You sir have earned yourself a new subscriber.
I have looked at almost a dozen reviews and some are long and drawn out on the G7. Yours by far is the most clear, informative and succinct, dealing with the questions people are really asking about the G7 and under 15 minutes.... Koodos
One of the best reviews I have seen so far and can't believe that it's 5 years old. I have just bought this camera for around $500 and it is still a great deal. Thank you.
Awesome review! Been reading through reviews and tests about this camera for weeks, but this review showed it to me all in just over 10 minutes. Bravo!
This was not only the best G7 review I have seen, but probably THE BEST review of any consumer device I have ever seen. Unbelievable detail, flow, and GREAT user feedback on features. Thank you for the time it took you to make this video. Made my buying decision very clear!
+Maarten Heilbron Just want to say, I received my G7 today, and man is it a piece of art! This is my first "real" camera, so thank you once again. Could you please recommend an SD card that will play very nicely with this camera? I wouldn't mind spending a little extra for a quality card.
+GVN Productions So glad to hear you're enjoying it. Panasonic makes excellent (i not the best) SD cards, I use the 64GB SDXC U3. My local video shop (where I buy cards) likes to guess which camera I'm reviewing by the card I've come in to purchase - he knew I had a G7 when I asked for this card last summer. I also have several Sandisk Extreme Pro 64GB u3 cards, they also work well - currently in a Nikon d750.
+Maarten Heilbron Hi Maarten, quick question! I've used my G7 to take some shots at Virginia Beach this week. I walked the boardwalk and took some shots also on the edge of the water. I've now read that many recommend NOT bringing your DSLR to the beach, and now I am worried! Do you think the G7 is good at protecting itself from the sand with the wind? I didn't change the lens at all, and made sure I put the cap back after shots. Any thoughts/comments on this? Please help me feel at ease!
+GVN Productions Wow, I've never read that, do it all the time and have never had any kind of problem. Yes, as you point out, it's wise to be careful, particularly if you're changing lenses, but otherwise, that's part of the normal conditions - a little wind, a few grains of sand or ocean spray won't have any negative impact. I've walked and shot along many kilometres of beach all over the world and I've sometimes had to use the dust brush to clean off a little sand after a day at the beach, but nothing that's affected operation of the camera in any way. Yes, I put the cap on when I'm not shooting, but I'm not fanatic about it.
Basically everyone below is saying the same thing - this is one of the best, if not THE best, review on You Tube. I have subscribed. If your other videos are even half as good as this one is, they will still be way better than 95% of the other reviews out there. You Tube should use this as an example of how to make a perfect review. Greetings and Peace from Scotland.
Without a doubt the best most detailed description of this camera I have seen! I'm subscribing because you are so detailed without a lot of extra jibberish. Thank you so much!
It was a pleasure to read your kind words, thanks very much for taking the time to comment. And thanks for subscribing, I hope to live up to your expectations.
+Jeffrey Cheng Thank you for your kind comment. I try not to "add" them (although that's sometimes necessary), but I do try to make sure you can hear them - and I agree, it adds to the understanding of what's happening.
I agree with so many of the comments here - this must be the most useful and insightful RUclips video about this camera. Instant subscribe! I can’t wait to test out this camera after I purchase it, thank you!
What a refreshingly professional review, Maarten! I truly appreciate the effort and enjoyed your no-nonsense, relevant information. I just ordered the camera in your review thanks to your help. Please keep up the great production value and consider me subscribed!
Best G7 review I've seen and I've watched quite a few. This review clearly shows and explains the camera in detail so you can decide for yourself what you think of it. I'm liking what I see.
I came across your channel. Not only is the content exhaustive, it is simple to understand too. I see that you take a lot of effort in creating standard thumbnails for your videos across your channel. Feels very professional. I cant thank you enough for your help. I have placed an order for G7 :-)
+Girish Rateshwar Thank you very much for your appreciation of my work, it's my pleasure. Good shooting with the G7. Send a link if you post photos online.
This is by far the best review I have ever seen. This is so extremely thorough, for example the hooking the G7 to a monitor wich doesnt work. If someone told me that about the FZ1000 I never would have bought it!
+One Studios That's very kind of you to say, thanks for commenting. I do attempt to cover all of the features and functions to make the review as complete as possible.
I am new at photography and just purchased a G7. My intention is to learn something fun. I also have a tiny wetland behind my house where it seems like a variety of birds migrate thru. Other than the few regulars, I don't know the other feathered friends. I hope I get at least some basics down so I can start taking pics. I'm so excited but a bit overwhelmed for just starting. It seems I have stumbled upon a golden resource. Thank you for helping. Peace🌠🌄
+Sidney Ventura Vega V Thank you for your kind comment, and the recognition that time is invested in a project like this. It is my pleasure to review cameras and produce videos.
This is such a wonderful review, you can really tell that you've put a lot of time and effort into this video. Thank you very much for making this, it's extremely helpful!
Maarten this is a great review - visual learning - and in such a short review you cover everything in a way that makes it so easy for me to understand and remember- Doug M
This review is actually startling. Well thought, good pace, well edited.. but I think your real strength is intonation. You've reminded me that it's really an effective way to assign importance. I wish you did reviews on everything that I want to buy. You can start with a Vulcan welder that I'm thinking about.. Thanks much.
Good sir encore, encore. Photography and video have recently become an interest to me. This has honestly been the most very thorough and informative video that I have seen on RUclips. I’ve searched several hours for multiple videos and yours by far is the best. I was looking for a video that explained a little bit more in detail some of the features of this camera and thanks to you, You’ve covered every question I’ve had. For now, I have just ordered this camera and the most important take I took from this video was towards the end when you mentioned to devote some time and explore all its features and that I do plan on doing thank you again. Have a good day.👍🏽✌🏽
Well you're the only one that knows how to work the G7 everyone else does it work the autofocus like you just did wow you really made that camera come alive thank you for this video
Compliments for the review, it's super detailed, and it just made even happier of having my g7 coming! Thanks for the effort in a video of this quality! Have a nice day!
Maarten, your review of the G7 is the first REAL review I have seen. Many reviews are superficial, but you have shown so many of the positive aspects of this camera. And now, it is truly a bargain at $497 on Amazon. I've heard that the auto focus for video is pretty poor, but I've also heard that if you just go manual and click your mobile screen to lock focus, it is golden. I'm using a Cannon Rebel SL2 to shoot my cooking channel. I love this camera so much, but I'm looking for the benefits of 4k, such as the ability to zoom in and not loose quality. Thanks for the great review.
Best review of features and how to use.... I have a Panasonic GF2, Sony A57, and Samsung nx3300, all great cameras, all with a mass of different menu settings... G7 may be my next camera... thank for walking through it in detail..
Great video and very detailed. We just got our G7 yesterday. If your not doing color grading in post editing, what video setting is the best to use? Haven't played with that setting or found it yet. LOL The 30 minute record time is strictly for 4K right? 1080p doesn't have this limit, does it?
Thanks, kind words are always appreciated. I would use the default settings, but I do prefer a slightly softer image, so end up with the sharpness and saturation down slightly. I also underexposed video slightly - use the histogram to keep the image away from the right. And in darker settings may flatten the highlights/shadow curve for a less contrasty image - just so it gets the mood without losing the shadow detail. All video modes are limited to 29:59 on the G7 - on the GH4, some video modes have no limits. MP4 files in HD will stop recording when the file reaches 4GB. MP4 in 4K will continue to record, but the recording is saved in 4GB chunks.
Thanks for replying back! I was hoping the video limit was just for 4K video but guess not. 29 minutes should be good enough though. My Sony A6000 would usually overheat by then and if recording at 60p you usually couldn't even hit 20 minutes.
Great review, I really appreciate how thoroughly this goes into the camera's features and user interface, and in general just how demonstrative it is - almost all the other reviews I've seen for this camera were fairly surface level in those aspects, often just stating the features and *maybe* saying how well that works for them or not. This one, though, shows the features in action on the camera with screen recordings, and gives me a much better idea of what it's like to actually use. I like the flow of the review as well, even if I can't quite articulate why.
Another review just about as feature-packed as the G7 itself! Very useful indeed, thanks. I'm now giving this camera more serious attention. I particularly like the shots of the LCD showing the menu structure and screen information as you describe each feature. I could almost be there!
+964tractorboy That's very kind of you to say, thanks! I do my best to give viewers a real sense of how the camera performs with screen captures and sample images and video.
Very informative review... really enjoy watching your reviews. Struggling with the decision to buy the G7 at a great price or pulling the trigger on buying the G85. For my use, I don't think I can go wrong with either one.
Sir another thing i must complement you with is the way the music introduces your work .it is mind blowing ...can you care to share with me the tune you use ..i also wanna do something like this but for different videos !
+Make Knowledge Free Thanks for the kind words - I'm glad to hear that you're impressed. I hate to disappoint you, but it's not a tune, it's a simple guitar strum that a friend recorded for me. In my earlier videos I used more music, but many viewers told me that it was either repetitive or distracting.
really nice review!! did you notice any issues with the camera overheating during video recording? I have a Sony a6000 and a nex5, they both tend to overheat often.
Thanks for the kind words. In fact, I've just been comparing the G7 to the A6300 - I found no overheating issues with the G7, even during an hour and twenty minutes of recording.
I'm buying it today. There is one reviewer who did an extensive test of the G7 and the GH4 and he determined that the ISO settings work better on the G7 for night shots. You get way less grain. I was very excited when I heard that it is so similar to the pricier GH4 model.
You need to do a full blown tutorial on this camera. I'm looking into buying this camera and you clearly know your stuff. A lot of ppl do reviews and sometimes I wonder if they think a camera has a major flaw simply because THEY don't know the solution. But nonetheless, phenomenal video sir. As someone said before, this is one of the best reviews on anything.
Hello Sir! It's me again. I guess you can recognize me. The Lumix GX850 is all perfect to me, but it not available in my country, and though it is soon available, the price here will be very higher than its original price... However, I've found myself in love with Panasonic Lumix G7. The more I know about G7, the more I like it.
+Ryan Woo Thanks for taking the time to comment - glad to hear you're enjoying the G7, and I completely sympathize - it's a lot to remember, particularly when you're confronted with a particular setting and situation. I often got back and thought that the camera actually offered a better way to approach the scene than I'd used.
I loved your style of presentation. When heard you in the first 10 secs of this video, you actually sounded like David Attenborough of Cameras. :-) Thank you for the wonderful review.
Sir , which is a better camera FZ 300 or G7...also your thought's on the GX8 ? Another thing does the G7 or GX8 have pause feature while doing video recording
+Make Knowledge Free I've not reviewed the FZ300, but based on the specification, I'd prefer the G7. Haven't reviewed the Gx8, so really can't comment. The G7 does not - it's not a feature I've seen on any camera.
+Maarten Heilbron ,thanks for the awesome video ...sadly , i bought FZ300 before seeing this video ...but i am suprised to see how all controls on FZ 300 are exactly identical to what you show in the video ...i was having a hard time understanding the FZ 300 and was surfing through vids when i came across yours ...it is a life saver and so inspiring ..... Regarding the pause effect , Nikon coolpix cameras have it .....S6900 ( very cheap cam ---point and shoot ) has it and so does Nikon P900 (Bridge cam with 83 X ) where pressing the okay button pauses the recording I am made to understand that the Nikon DSLR D5500 also has the pausingfacility though i am not sure of it and the drawback there is that you cannot change the aperture while recording! Sir , would you be kind enough to explain the difference between Micro 4/3 lenses and normal lenses Also , what does full frame sensor mean and how is it useful Your videos are very simple to understand and so if you can make tuts in this regard, it will help beginners like us ! Cheers
+Amlan Dutta I'm always happy to hear from a viewer who's found the video useful, thanks for your comment. Not sure about the D5500, the D7200 (ruclips.net/video/VyumlKO9Vag/видео.html) does not. There is no "normal" lens to compare M4/3 to. It's another type of mount, just like Canon and Nikon mounts. I think however that you're asking about lenses and sensors. Canon and Nikon mount lenses are made for full frame or APS-C (Nikon calls this DX) size sensors. Smaller (less expensive) lenses can be made for smaller sensors - the advantage of APS-C. The micro four thirds mount is used exclusively for M4/3 sensors (Panasonic and Olympus), so can be made even smaller. There are lots of sensor sizes, and lots of good wikipedia reading on this topic - as it raises lots of issues. Full frame means the same (approximate) size as a frame of 35mm film (as used in DSLRs before digital). The advantage is that the pixels are larger, so can capture more light in the same time; and combined with larger lenses have a greater ability to manage the depth of field for defocussed backgrounds. Hope this helps.
+Maarten Heilbron , you have really helped me so much .......i am now convinced that my second camera should be a G7 though i already have a FZ 300 .....Nowadays ,everyone has a second standy camera and seriously G7 looks awesome Now that you clear the lens part , yes i was not very clear on 4/3 mounts and normal mounts but your explanation makes me understand that 4/3 mounts are better and can achieve more ! Is it possible to have lenses that magnify subjects say to 2 or 3 times I am interested to shoot butterflies And at times do tech reviews Do you think i shall have enough lenses to fit the bill in both occasion's You are a rael angel sir , wish there were more people like you who were so open to sharing of knowledge !
+Make Knowledge Free Thank you, it's always good to hear that the information is useful. Although I wouldn't say that the M4/3 mount is either better or can do more - it's just the mount used on those model cameras. In fact, at this stage, the Sony E mount is starting to emerge as the most versatile mount - with a wide selection of cameras in both full and crop (APS-C) sizes and a selection of both native lenses and adapters to enable just about any lens to be used with the system. For butterflies (and closeup parts of tech devices) you need to be able to focus on a very small area - a factor that's not usually provided in lens specifications. Most lenses provide the closest focus distance, but not the size of the field of view. Likely a macro lens is most suitable, but you'll probably need to be very close. A zoom lens (such as those typically used for birding) is the preferred option if you can't be close. Good luck.
you, sir, deserve a medal for this. great detailed review
+JBF (Johnnyboy Films) That is very kind of you to say. Who needs a medal when I have fans like you? Thanks for making my day.
Haha no problem at all :)

Hello Scotland! I'm so pleased to read your kind words, thank you very much for the recognition.
Great review! I love you add sound effects for many actions you make with the camera. It really draws the viewers closer into your videos.
It's a pleasure to read your kind words, thanks for commenting.
I am happy to watch so sensible review/demonstration as this one is.
Thank so much!
+Csaba Szerenyi That's very kind of you to say. I do strive to be sensible, so am happy to have my efforts recognized.
What a refreshingly professional review, Maarten! I truly appreciate the effort and enjoyed your no-nonsense, relevant information. I just ordered the camera in your review thanks to your help. Please keep up the great production value and consider me subscribed!
Those are very kind comments, thanks so much for taking the time to share your thoughts.
This is hands down the best review I've ever seen on anything ever. Totally literal. Thank you so much.

Very kind of you to say, thanks for the sub and your comments.
Best G7 review I've seen and I've watched quite a few. This review clearly shows and explains the camera in detail so you can decide for yourself what you think of it. I'm liking what I see.
Thanks, always nice to hear from viewers who appreciate my work.
Maarten. Just what I was looking for on the G7. Thank you for this one and all of the others. Your presentations are great.
+Joe Mcearichern That's kind of you to say - thanks for your comment, it's always nice to hear from an appreciative viewer.
Best video I have seen on the G7. Thanks for your organized, interesting and detailed review! I learned a lot.
+Liz W that is absolutely the nicest (ok, the two nicest) thing(s) you could possibly say, Thanks so much for commenting.
Awesome roundup, I especially liked the on video menu settings. Well done and thanks!
+Schwingi That's very kind of you to say, thanks for commenting.
Sir your reviews are among the most informative and detailed ones about these cameras around.
That's very kind of you to say, thanks.
@@MaartenHeilbron It definitely helped me to make a decision to choose this camera. Thank you!
Always happy to help.
My dad used to watch this show called Motor Week. This review totally feels like that. I like it! Thanks for the info!
That's very kind , thanks for commenting.
By far the best review I have seen for the G7...thank you!!
Thank you very much for commenting with such nice words, appreciated.
Peace🌠🌄
Thanks, I appreciate your kind words.
That was an excellent review! Thank you for taking the time to make it. : )
+Greg King Thank you for recognition of the work involved and your kind words, I appreciate that you have taken the time to comment.
The best review I've found.
What a nice thing to say - thank so much for commenting.
Maarten this is a great review - visual learning - and in such a short review you cover everything in a way that makes it so easy for me to understand and remember- Doug M
+Kate Harrison So glad to hear that you liked the video - and thanks for taking the time to comment.
Just wanted to say that this review made me purchase this camera. So far its amazing, thanks for the great vid!
Always nice to know I've provided useful information, thanks for the kind words.
Thanks, that's very kind. Vulcan welder, eh? Not in my wheelhouse ...
Fantastic review. Keep up the good work, Maarten!
Very kind of you to say, thanks for commenting.
Very good review. Showed a lot of features no other reviw would show. Thanks
I'm certainly glad to hear that you found something of value in my video. Thanks for commenting.
Have a good day.👍🏽✌🏽
Thanks for your kind words, it's always nice to hear from a viewer who appreciates my work.
Well you're the only one that knows how to work the G7 everyone else does it work the autofocus like you just did wow you really made that camera come alive thank you for this video
A pleasure to read your kind words, thanks for commenting.
Compliments for the review, it's super detailed, and it just made even happier of having my g7 coming! Thanks for the effort in a video of this quality! Have a nice day!
+MPK 4K I understand why you're happy (I had to return the review unit). Thanks for the compliment and kind words.
+Maarten Heilbron You've gained a faithful subscriber! Your work is among the best on the Web! Cheers!
+MPK 4K Woot! That's too kind. Thanks.
The best Reviewer so far !! Good job sir
Always happy to hear I'm raising the bar. Thanks for commenting.
As usual, another great video. Thank you for the time and care that you take.
Rick.
+RickBSO That's very kind of you to say, thanks.
Thanks, I appreciate your kind words. That sounds like a great deal for this camera.
Thanks for the kind words, but sadly, there is no work around for this limitation.
Brilliant fast paced review! Bookmarked so I can come back and go over it again.
Thanks!
+Anthony “Reyfox I” Pierre That's very kind of you to say, I appreciate your comment.
This was a phenomenal review! The best I've seen for this camera :)
Wow, thanks, I appreciate the kind words.
Best review of features and how to use.... I have a Panasonic GF2, Sony A57, and Samsung nx3300, all great cameras, all with a mass of different menu settings... G7 may be my next camera... thank for walking through it in detail..
That's very kind of you to say, thanks for taking the time to comment.
Great video and very detailed. We just got our G7 yesterday. If your not doing color grading in post editing, what video setting is the best to use? Haven't played with that setting or found it yet. LOL
The 30 minute record time is strictly for 4K right?
I'm sure there are conditions where the G7 would also overheat - but not nearly as quickly as the A6000 or A6300.
Thanks, a pleasure to read your kind words, always nice to know my videos are appreciated.
Excellent looking 4K camera and another great review.
+Average Adversary I agree on both counts. Thanks for the kind words.
This is the most detailed review I've seen!! Thank you sir
Wow, thanks! Always nice to read my work is appreciated.
I appreciate the kind words. Haven't reviewed the G85, but I would agree.
Thank you... looking forward to watching your review of the G85 in the future!
Thanks for your interest and support.
Thank you, Martin, I got this camera yesterday and I love it more than my old G2 that I used for the last decade.
That makes sense. I appreciate your kind words.
@@MaartenHeilbron Sorry for the wrong spelling of your name, Maarten, and thanks for the response;-)
I dig your style, sir!
One of best G7 review. Superb job!
How nice of you to say, thanks for commenting.
really nice review!! did you notice any issues with the camera overheating during video recording?
I have a Sony a6000 and a nex5, they both tend to overheat often.
Thanks for the kind words. In fact, I've just been comparing the G7 to the A6300 - I found no overheating issues with the G7, even during an hour and twenty minutes of recording.
I'm buying it today. There is one reviewer who did an extensive test of the G7 and the GH4 and he determined that the ISO settings work better on the G7 for night shots. You get way less grain. I was very excited when I heard that it is so similar to the pricier GH4 model.
+Sviolinist It is very similar, that's its primary appeal. That's an interesting result, I would have judged them as roughly identical for ISO.
That's very kind of you to say. However, this late in the camera's release cycle, I don't think a tutorial is in the cards, sorry.
Maarten Heilbron I definitely understand. More wishful thinking on my part. Great video.
Thanks again for the kind words. Sorry about this one, but do keep the requests (and questions) coming ...
one of the best reviews... beautifully presented..
thanks for sharing
How kind of you to say, greatly appreciated.
I am using a G7 for quiet some time and i am very happy, I keep coming back to this video to learn something new ... :)
I'm so happy to hear that you're finding my video a useful resource to help you master your camera. Thanks!
Hello Sir! It's me again. I guess you can recognize me. The Lumix GX850 is all perfect to me, but it not available in my country, and though it is soon available, the price here will be very higher than its original price... However, I've found myself in love with Panasonic Lumix G7. The more I know about G7, the more I like it.
The G7 is also a good choice.
No one has showed me the focus like you! Thank you
My pleasure, thanks for the kind words.
Superb reviews in detail, as always! (y)
+Nemo Neelkantho That's very kind of you to say, thanks for commenting.
As always an excellent review!
I'm thankful you took the time to write such kind words - appreciated.
Awesome work, well detailed review! Thank you for sharing and.. keep up the good work!
A pleasure to read your kind words, thanks!
Great video. I love my G7 as well. I learn few functions from your video. G7 has so many functions that it's not easy to remember them all. :)
Great review. Lots of quality content that covers what I need. Thanks.
I appreciate that, thanks for commenting.
Detailed, easy to understand and with so much information. Sir, you are a top pro in my book. i will be subscribing . Muchas Gracias!
Thanks for your kind words and your subscription. De Nada.
Holy fully featured camera Batman! This is jam packed with specs.
Yes Robin, I believe you'll find it suitable.
I loved your style of presentation. When heard you in the first 10 secs of this video, you actually sounded like David Attenborough of Cameras. :-) Thank you for the wonderful review.
Wow - that's a comparison I did not anticipate. Thank you very much for your kind words, it's so nice to hear you enjoyed my video.
I found it very simple and useful to 100%. Thanks...
I'm so glad to hear, thanks for taking the time to comment.
In depth! Thank you for the information.
I appreciate the kind words, thanks for commenting.
Regarding the pause effect , Nikon coolpix cameras have it .....S6900 ( very cheap cam ---point and shoot ) has it and so does Nikon P900 (Bridge cam with 83 X ) where pressing the okay button pauses the recording
I am made to understand that the Nikon DSLR D5500 also has the pausingfacility though i am not sure of it and the drawback there is that you cannot change the aperture while recording!
Sir , would you be kind enough to explain the difference between Micro 4/3 lenses and normal lenses
Also , what does full frame sensor mean and how is it useful
Your videos are very simple to understand and so if you can make tuts in this regard, it will help beginners like us !
+Maarten Heilbron , you have really helped me so much .......i am now convinced that my second camera should be a G7 though i already have a FZ 300 .....Nowadays ,everyone has a second standy camera and seriously G7 looks awesome
Now that you clear the lens part , yes i was not very clear on 4/3 mounts and normal mounts but your explanation makes me understand that 4/3 mounts are better and can achieve more !
Is it possible to have lenses that magnify subjects say to 2 or 3 times
I am interested to shoot butterflies
And at times do tech reviews
Do you think i shall have enough lenses to fit the bill in both occasion's
You are a rael angel sir , wish there were more people like you who were so open to sharing of knowledge !
Good luck.
Thank you for giving me the link to this video, for an "older" camera, the G-7 packs an amazing array of useful features.
It does - there are several older models, like the G7 and Sony A6000 that are holding up well.
I'm back after some years. Another great review, as always...
Welcome back! Thanks for checking in.
