Yeah, smaller black bears like that scare easily. Just make yourself seem big and make a lot of noise. Plus the dogs can't hurt your perceived aggression. The bear probably thought, "I can't take on this massive dude and three dogs at once." Even though it probably could've killed him easily. And could've squished the dogs with a paw.
One night several months ago someone was trying to get into my house through the front door with me sitting in the living room and all the lights on. As soon as I yelled I'm calling the police they left. I live in a high crime area and there are 3 locks on each door and the windows are sealed shut. People are brazen nowadays.

When I lived in Florida I saw a lot of black bears inspire of them being endangered there. I saw them in north Florida central Florida and Southwest Florida in the 28 years I was there. There are documented case in several States of black bears killing and eating full grown men. Not something to mess with
15:42 detectives normally show up as a pair not alone. Especially at night. Also, call 911 or the police station they say their from to verify they are who they say they are.
Albuquerque New Mexico is notorious for meth abuse. Hence the tv show Breaking Bad story being based there. It was probably what the woman was high off of when she tried to go into the house with her revolver key. lol
Nah, she looked more shitfaced on alcohol than meth. She didn't seem like she was on meth at all, maybe opioids and alcohol, given the state of her eyebrows and nose. But the dude crouching behind the car, that's either a Methhead, Crackhead, or Insane. Sweating and breathing heavy, that's indicative of a stimulant. Stumbling and fumbling is NOT indicative of a stimulant.
If i hadda copper rock up to my joint at night by himself, whether he's claiming he's a detective hence the plain clothes or he turned up in uniform I'd still be very suspect. Not many coppers turn up without a partner, especially at night.
Only way to identify a person through photo or video is if they are in the police database, having been booked or releasing his face to the public via social media or news.
Thank god someone understands. Jesus, I thought this whole comment section was dumb. The US is fucking massive, with a massive population. Needle in a haystack.
Btw you can get an app and listen to to police radio that way so he can just have his phone sound all the way up and have a fake wire and make it look that way. I do security in Houston and i use to work along side Homeland at airport too and so id listen to it to see of any dangers in the area and its actually has helped me at all my security jobs.
I don't open my door for anyone I don't know. I bought a Ring doorbell camera, and I monitor my door with that. There have been home invasions by guys dressed up in police uniforms, so you have to be careful. If they appeared at my door, I'd have to call 911 to report them and then get identifying information. I'm sorry that you guys can't possess even pepper-spray to defend yourselves, even in your own home-that's crazy. I'd agree with those types of laws only if the government is doing a near-perfect job keeping criminals off the streets and out of people's houses, but we know only a few countries can actually do that and still not be oppressive. When I was in college back in the 1990's, a police visited our class to talk about police work. He told us that late at night, after normal people have settled in, very creepy and dangerous people roam the streets; he said you wouldn't believe just how crazy it gets, and this is even in nice areas. The criminals wander everywhere at night.
A Investigator like that wouldn't have police chatter going on they would be investigating something specific and not bothering with regular police work would be my first thought
I got woken up at a small festival because i clearly pissed and half asleep, went for a piss and then hot back into the wtong tent. 4 am and this woman wakes me up saying can i get out their tent. Whoops! Haha they saw the funny side!
14:47 'the cop' if that dude came to my door at that hour by himself. I'd tell him to phuk off. I'd dial 911 and tell them there was a 'cop' at my door demanding I open. 911 would be able to tell me if there were any cops in the hood at my address. 911 may or may not tell me for security reasons, but they would know.
No self-respecting delivery person will wait 30 minutes at someone's door to drop off a delivery. I do Instacart regularly, and doing that would simply eat into my profits (such as they are). If I'm there longer than three minutes, then I've accidentally run over your dog, or there's liquor in the order and I need an ID.
The man was correct to fight the bear because it was a black bear. They are far less aggressive than a brown bear and won't put up as much of a fight in most cases.
I am a Door Dasher, and I dash all 24 hours throughout the day, whenever I feel like it. The app does not restrict any hours of the day. Some of my busiest hours are 3:00 AM - 6:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday mornings. If you live in a smaller city or rural area, there just might not be any dashers at all willing to work overnight (or any restaurants open). Here in Austin, Texas there are tons of dashers that work overnight.
@@diggity1039 I'm a dasher, 99% percent of the people tell us to just leave it at their door. After the drop is made, we hit a button and a message is sent. For the very few that insist on hand delivery, I wait about 30-45 seconds, if nobody answers the door I just leave the food next to the door and hit the delivery complete button, definitely not hanging around for even 1 whole minute. The person in this video was obviously not a dasher, but there are deliveries being made at all hours.
@@japcar84 I live in a small city and there are very few places open that late except IHOP, McDonald's, and Waffle House and I've had problems getting food delivered before 6 AM. I imagine that in a big city, it would be busy at all hours.
This happened to me a week after I brought our newborn baby girl home. Me my ex, my newborn and 2 daughters lived in a new hole out next to the lake in an area and state that has one of the lowest crime rates in the US, but that night hearing voices outside my bedroom window on the second floor, I looked jsut below to the sliding door below my room and saw 2 men with hoodies and a female talking standing next to my back door, they came from the alphalpha fields behind the house. As a dad of daughters and especially my newborn baby sleeping in her nursery I’ll never forget the feeling of outrage and focus I felt instantly , no confusion or question about what was happening, just instant action, yelled to my ex told her to get the baby and to my 2 older daughters room lick the door and call 911 and not to open it until I tell it’s ok. I’d already got my 9mm out handing it to her with 2 additional clips then grabbed my .40 cal and 2 clips in my hoodie pocket and 2 in my back pocket. By this time my Labrador that is trained to protect my daughters when their outside and sleeps on the foot of their bed every night was growling and her hair standing up. I took her collar off so her victim has nothing to grab and we went downstairs . I got behind a bearing wall that looked right at the glass door (curtain was closed) I flipped the porch light on as they started yanking on the sliding glass door hard, my dog went nuts and to my surprise they didn’t even pause . I yelled out you’re trying to break into a home of 2 well armed parents, the police are on their way but if you step through the threshold I’ll blow your f@cking brains out. They paused and then shockingly started yanking harder . I commanded “get ‘em” the attack command that me my ex and my daughters can say that tells her to attack the nearest agressive adult. She charged the door jumping at the curtain banging the glass barking waiting for the door to open and I yelled again, last warning, open that door im putting 3 rounds in each of ya,.make sure none of you have the chance to return. I braced my arms against the wall in cover had my red dot center chest at the door opening 100% believing they were about to come in. I had the clear thought of my daughters upstairs and how terrified they must be, what could happen if they get past me, the realization I’ve warned 3 adults I’m going to kill then if they enter and they’re still trying and that they clearly had violent intentions . Having a newborn baby my thoughts went to her , maybe kidnappers? The amount of anger I felt knowing someone may be targetting my daughters had me hoping they opened the door, at that point I didn’t want these 3 f&ck bags to have the chance to attempt to get by me and certainly not the chance to come back another day when I’m not home , I’d put 14 rounds through the doorframe , reload and clear the opening attack any remaining or fleeing. Alphalpha was waist high, flat field and an open background, no homes back there so I’d have ideal circumstances to put rounds on targets accurately to about 150 feet. Where I live, you have the right if your home is breached and you feel you or your family are in lethal danger , you have the right to fire on any entering the home & any with the group , so one of 3 stepping in your home you don’t have to wait for the other 2 to attempt to get in, you can then eliminate targets in that group. Don’t need to see any weapons and deadly force is acceptable. My state has very decidedly stood in the side of parents with children defending they’re children at all cost. They suddenly stopped yanking and it went silent . As much as I wanted to go open the curtain and take care of the 3 threats ,tactically that’d potentially give them the first shot advantage so I stood my ground . I yelled second the police are here, my dog and I are chasing you down. My ex yelled out the door upstairs saying 911 dispatcher said the officer has the home in sight and for me to set my firearm down open the door and stand in the porch hands up to let him know I’m the homeowner . I did that as police arrived I yelled they’re in the back and probably fleeing into the fields , 2 additional SUV’s arriving were directed by the first officer to get to the fields with their spot lights. They didn’t catch anyone that were surely lying down in their fields and the officer told me the fact they were way out in this new development , at 10pm with all the lights on, parents home and an armed owner with a dog and warnings STILL attempting to get in really concerned him. He said clearly they were looking to steal your tv and clearly knew they were getting fired at and an attacking dog instantly which told him they were most likely all armed and felt they had an advantage over jsut 1 armed and a dog. With that in mind his concern were my daughters. With human trafficking and the skyrocketing statistics of kidnapped and missing underage girls , he said it’s very possible they were the targets , told me I reacted as I should and said to keep Avery cautious eye on my girls for the next little bit , keep doors locked 24/7 and as a concealed carry permit holder , carry one of my sidearms at alll times. He said if they return you’re going to want to make sure they don’t have the chance to achieve their goal. Also said their persistence knowing I was going to fire indicated probably on meth so they won’t feel gun shots so you need to make sure my rounds hit in regions that will put them down permanently . I didn’t sleep for months , maybe an hour or 2 a night continually getting up checking on my daughters, I worried any time they weren’t home, I bought additional clips and placed loaded clips strategically around the house. My 9 and 10 year old daughters are champion shooters with their custom rifles so got them shooting a 9mm pistol and placed a lockbox in their room wiith a 9mm and bunch of loaded clips ONLY in the case of being home alone somehow and someone enters or if things went bad and they hear gunshots in the house . Got a strategic plan, defensive location and when to fire. Fortunately they’re so safety minded and amazing shots it gave me some peace of mind knowing they are able to defend themselves if I was ever eliminated. It’s a scary world we live in, to live where we did and have that happen says it can happen to anyone , anywhere and even being well armed doesn’t make sure it’s not going to happen. Be safe
Its funny how states can have completely different laws. In mine house got robbed by three unarmed gunman and homeowner shot all three of them while his wife called the police. While they all got sent to jail for breaking and entering, the robbers were able to sue the homeowner. The state concluded that because the robbers were unarmed it was determined that the homeowner acted irrationally by shooting them and that he should have just waited for police to arrive. The homeowner ended up having to pay each robber's medical bills for the gun shot wounds.
Burglars don't resort to killing home owners if they have guns its just a precaution, they are not coming there to murder you, they just want your stuff.
In the South if you break into someone's home, armed or not, it's basically considered suicide. Part of the reason I never hear of it happening around me. People aren't mind readers, they don't know your intentions. Even if you just want my TV, you break down my door, you're dead. It's that simple.
In The Netherlands if your house gets robbed and you defend yourself you'll actually get a higher sentence than the robber. If guns were legal here I'd get one.
Well if you are at home and you’re to lazy to get up of your arse and get your parcel from your front porch as at 25:10, things like this will happen. 😆
RUclips didn't blur the video, the creator did. And only the weapon. Nothing else was blurred so idk what you mean. Is it really THAT crazy to blur a gun? Cause if that's what has you worried, that's a little neurotic.
I think guns for home protection should be legal everywhere. You should be allowed to have a weapon in your house and if someone comes into your house trying to rob you, you should be allowed to shoot them. U.S.A is kind of half way there, they allow it but they also allow ANYONE to own guns as well as most states allow open carry and thats where a lot of the issues come into play. Having weapons but registered and requiring some sort of course or background check should be a thing.
I'm from Central Florida. I believe these thiefs study a house for days before they atempt this. They propbably observe which home owner is less likely to be armed. Been in my house 6 years now and I pray to God no one breaks in because I do have loaded toys in different parts of the house when I got to sleep.
The ring doorbell camera does not seem to be very successful in capturing any of those perpetrators shown on camera by the police. :( No leads at all even with their image on camera.
In a situation like thaty with the fake cop, the smartest thing to do would be ask his badge number and name, then call the police station and ask if tthey have a cop named this and with this bade number then asking why hes at your house at this hour. If they say no they'll send someone over and you just keep that guy distracrd by talking with him with the door closed. "yeah hold on im getting some clothes on" or whatever. But again i dont think most people would be thinking that but itd be the safest thing to do.
The first video of those people trying to break into the house they are so lucky that the house owner didn't have a gun if that was my house even if with my firearm on me I probably still would be scared even having a ring camera and seeing how many they are of the scumbags you just get out of bed your not fully aware of everything just scary...
You guys have to realize in the US we are not as surveillance as you guys are. We are watched but nowhere near like the UK. Just because someone gets you on camera doesn’t mean they can identify you. Especially if you don’t have a criminal past
Lol what? The footage is from the ring camera. So you put out the face to the community so people who know the perp will identify him. Did you seriously think the cops go through random CCTV in the area to check people. One thing for sure, the eduaction system in the US is not as good as the UK LMAO
I wish we had the level of CCTV cameras Britain has. CCTV is not just for visual identification. Series of cameras everywhere can narrow down where the criminal committed crime, walked, drove, parked car, visited, lives. A series of CCTV cameras is what captured the crimes of Boston Marathon bomber, and him as well, through a series of CCTV cameras.

That lady had a mini Magnum on her keychain 😅
Btw you can get an app and listen to to police radio that way so he can just have his phone sound all the way up and have a fake wire and make it look that way. I do security in Houston and i use to work along side Homeland at airport too and so id listen to it to see of any dangers in the area and its actually has helped me at all my security jobs.
Oh snap that guy's channel is actually really good.
At least it was a small bear.
Imagine you wake up in the morning and see 3 bears on your front porch 🐻🐻🐻
I am Emmanuel from Ghana, and you guys are good
"Aggression is the way" -Office Bloke Dave
Videos like this make me glad i can own a gun. Not that its guaranteed protection but damn some of these were super creepy
To ur question of how could they not catch them: If they didn’t have any criminal history /record, there’s nothing to go on/compare to
No self-respecting delivery person will wait 30 minutes at someone's door to drop off a delivery.
The comment should’ve been “gobble me” 😂
I use Door Dash frequently and I don't think they deliver that late at night.
Yeah, I don't think any door dash driver is gonna stick around for 40 minutes.
@@japcar84 I always have them leave it at the door.
@@japcar84 I live in a small city and there are very few places open that late except IHOP, McDonald's, and Waffle House and I've had problems getting food delivered before 6 AM. I imagine that in a big city, it would be busy at all hours.
Mike is looking very dapper in his new top hat! Cheers
It's 1:00 am in india... should I watch this video 😂
A bean bag gun? No thanks. If somebody tries breaking into my house at night it will very much be a one sided fight.
Black bear, fight back. Brown bear, play dead, white polar bear, kiss you’re ass goodbye
Mike Wap/ Orange..i was confused 😅
You would think with face recognition they can find these people..
30 mins? Let's goooo.😝😝
Be safe
If you don't mind saying, what state are you in?
I was hoping to read that you shot them or they're in custody. No monsters deserve to be living free
@@CheddahSlammer That is just crazy, just sit there and watch them pillage your home?
@@immortaltyger1569 yep really insane lol
Nice one blokes! ❤
This is why I’m so glad America allows guns, if any of these sort evil people enter my home they won’t be leaving in one piece.
Ur gonna hack them to pieces?
@@FEARNoMore with bullets possibly.
@@davidmcnelley8672 Unless u used a 50 caliber rifle, I don't see cutting someone down into pieces using a gun, let alone them able to leave. lol ;)

Soon RUclips is going to be blurring the whole video 😂😂
RUclips didn't blur the video, the creator did. And only the weapon. Nothing else was blurred so idk what you mean. Is it really THAT crazy to blur a gun? Cause if that's what has you worried, that's a little neurotic.
@jacket5456 my comment was a sarcastic joke, not a d*ck. Don't take it too hard. obviously you didn't get it. Do you really gotta be that moronic? 😂
The fake cop kid might have just been a Walter Mitty playing investigator make believe.
I'm from Central Florida. I believe these thiefs study a house for days before they atempt this. They propbably observe which home owner is less likely to be armed. Been in my house 6 years now and I pray to God no one breaks in because I do have loaded toys in different parts of the house when I got to sleep.
we have stand your ground laws

Don’t be mean to PP Mike, that could be you someday soon!
America... nice country innit?
the one with the dog food and three bears, why didnt the notification go off when the package was delivered?
This is why you keep chemical weapons on hand.

Darn porch pirates...
The first video of those people trying to break into the house they are so lucky that the house owner didn't have a gun if that was my house even if with my firearm on me I probably still would be scared even having a ring camera and seeing how many they are of the scumbags you just get out of bed your not fully aware of everything just scary...
i seen the bear video on a tv program here in america

You guys have to realize in the US we are not as surveillance as you guys are. We are watched but nowhere near like the UK. Just because someone gets you on camera doesn’t mean they can identify you. Especially if you don’t have a criminal past
Some of the images in these clips are so clear that I don't understand how computers can't check them against passport or driving licence databases.
Not as surveillance? We probably are more surveillance. Our cops just worry more about donuts than their cops.
@@kimson305 Not as surveilled or under surveillance.
I think they where identified some of them maybe the person that made the video look it up
