Both paintings are gorgeous! Love the gold accents. I, too, like to paint in coffee shops. People ignore my "do not disturb" headset and come over anyway. My go to drink is Chai. Like you, I don't drink coffee 😉

Glad to hear you are trying seawhites of Brighton sketch book a little back story they are in a village called Partridge Green in Sussex where they have a factory which makes all their papers and books and they are owned by the family that started it. They have a factory shop which if you are ever in the area is a lovely visit plus they sell alot of discounted sketch books I went yesterday. It's lovely to see you using a British made sketch book
That came out so well. Very pretty. I'd be far too nervous to paint in public! I'm a beginner at watercolor so very self conscious. I always order a decaf cappuccino.

Such a beautiful color palette, as is your painting! I’m heavy into mixed media and abstract art, but my roots are deep in watercolor. I love Daniel Smith, but I so need to get some Roman Szmal watercolors, especially the yummy shimmer colors you were working with. Please don’t hate me, but I so wanted you to keep the dreamy, soft style of the roses on the left side of your sketchbook as you added the leaves, but that’s just a very personal choice, I realize. I should bring some watercolour brushes and some of my himi miya gouache whit me and paint like you do at the cafe. I can,t paint whitout an undersketch tho. So my roses are gonne crooked😂😂😂crooked red blobs if i paint them😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂i love you,re roses. They are my favoriet flowers
