You influneced me to get a golf R over a GR corolla haha. Since you live in Canada, do you use alternative websites to ECS Tuning for aftermarket parts? Shipping is killer... 😮💨
@@brentgarcia7759 hahaha love to hear it! There are local shops like AMTuning and WCT Performance that have almost everything for these cars. Eurosport tuning also has a lot of the stuff from ECS so you can save on shipping. Picking up some stuff for my golf really soon 👀
@@neonrasta_9842 Yea I agree. I have a feeling it already has a custom tune, just no real way to check unfortunately. They do have some OTS tunes that account for bigger turbo and MPI but I’m going to talk to some tuning shops before I do anything to make sure
I think most people would get a built car for a good price rather than a stock car for more 🤷♂️ still going to refine the setup in the next year and make it my own for sure
@@SCVRLETT I’ve had friends buy nice good ones but it’s always a risk. Some get lucky but most don’t. That’s all beware if it’s too good to be true then it usually is in my experience as a mechanic. But so far so good
100% agree. I definitely don't recommend buying a previously modified car but with a situation like this, I couldn't pass up on it but I made sure to get some trusted people to see it before buying for sure
it's coming along excellently! Keep it up and enjoy your vacay
Thanks boss!
Great video bro!!!!

Good work :)
What turbo is on the car?
Not 100% sure but I think it has a TPC hybrid turbo
@@SCVRLETT your most likely gonna need custom tuning, I see you have mpi. I would say probably try eqt or simos tools.
Your gonna need custom tuning forsure tho.

@SCVRLETT you can't do ots with the fueling you have. You probably have a upgrade low pressure fuel pump also.
Bought not built 😅
