Even as Theist, I agree. Too many dogmatic ideas are pushed by nearly brainwashing Christian pop music. And the attention to the musicality and message of the lyrics is often let slide for the sake of the emphatic insistence “but it’s WORSHIP; do you not like WORSHIP!?” In my mind, they might as well be rolling on the floor and speaking in tongues if they’re going to sway and wave their arms and get all sentimental for some mindless “I worship youuuuuu; Oh yeah! I worship youuuuuu; you Created meeeeee; I worship youuuuu!”
