- Had a pretty good time on Sesid Equator and figured it was video-worthy. This map has seen some changes lately and it's a really gorgeous map! Galactic Contention is one of the best Star Wars experiences out there! It's a 40gb total conversion mod for the game Squad on the Steam workshop! It's a surreal Clone Wars experience that Star Wars fans dream of, and I highly recommend it!

I'm not sure what type of crack is in GC that just makes staging/setup phases and their associated brainrot so astronomically funny. Love the juxtaposition with the serious intro. Keep it up!

Map got added into rotation I believe around 1.5 years ago, but has seen a couple reworks and optimization passes and is still being worked on as far as I know

@@arachnomech88 yes the Geonosians are a playable faction, I haven't been on a team that's chosen them in awhile though!

Hey I was thinking of getting into the Server, I already have everything ready but I feel like I would end up slowing my squad down because I'm new. Is there anywhere I can learn the game and how to communicate with my squad so I can enjoy the game?
You can use the Discord and join a voice channel, possibly ping a tutor if they're available and they could show you how to play. But you could also just join the server, join a squad, and choose a kit that doesn't have a huge responsibility like rifleman, or most squads will always be happy with another medic and just go from there. Just make it known that it's one of your first matches, majority of the time there is someone willing to help if you ask questions and follow orders.
