Honorable mentions: Kamino Security, Special Operations (stealth operations), Covert Ops, HORN, 5th Fleet Security, 7th Legion, 187th Legion, ARF, Lessu battalion and many other smaller units and squads that are less known. Fun fact, 41st Legion main color isn't green. It's gray and can be seen in a single scene in Episode 3 of Movies.
The Galactic Marines would also beat a bunch of Super Battledroids using only their fitsts. They were brutal in their tactics, but they're the closest thing to a Star Wars space marine. 😂
I kinda forgot about the old clones as I don't really consider them to fit in with the new age clone trooper but yeah, the statement that they never made a 327th is factually wrong
Fun fact, Lieutenant Thire (May have been promoted at this point idk) was the shock trooper who informed Palpatine that they hadn't found Yoda's body after the duel in the Senate.
He was promoted! I knew about that fact but actually but didn't quite get why he just wore standard shock trooper armor in that scene then...so not too much of a fan of that change due to that
Not many can say this but i'm serving in the 212th. Really. Panzergrenadierbataillon 212. It's a IRL Mechanised Infantry Battalion of the German Armed Forces. Established 1958.
If there are 3 million clone units in the GAR, each a battalion of 576 clones, there would be 1,728,000,000 clones roughly. From be 3,000,000 clone battalions, if a legion is made up four regiments, each themselves made of four battalions, each legion would consists of 16 battalions. This would mean that there would be a total of 108,000,000 different clone legions in the GAR (if every shiney was assigned to a legion and not just under free command of whichever commander/generals needed troopers.
Your forgetting about the normal 9 to 1 ratio. Where for everyone frontline infantryman, there are 9 others to back them up. Such as in the show we have pilots, loading crew, rearmament, the massive scale of the Coruscant Guards and the bridge and ship crews of essentially every ship in the Navy. Then your basic logistics corps’s as well
I feel like a nerd saying this but commander ponds was actually the commander of the entire 91st recon corps until his death at the hands of aura sing after witch commander neyo took over as commander
They were also shown in season 7 of the clone wars with mace windu as well as on the battle of ryloth with a detachment known as Keeli company commanded by Captain Keeli
187 Legion are the purple guys, and are Mace Windu’s personal legion, however he does have the 187th Battalion as well which are the maroon colored clones that resemble Commander Ponds colors. These guys where called in for very specific operations such as Anaxes.
The purple clones aren't canon btw, 187 are maroon and Mace Windu's legion. The purple shock trooper looking clones are a Hasbro creation and used by Lego too but are not canon.
14:16 would've been good to mention that Thire got promoted at some point to Commander as well and was the Clone seen in Revenge of the Sith looking for Yoda after his duel with Palpatine & also was one of the clones who went with Palps to Mustafar to retrieve Vader
A fun fact with the 21st is their commander would actively trade clones with other clone groups so he could have the best force possible, making the 21st in my mind the most elite of the "standard" clones.
As far as I'm aware the Rancor Battalion was disolved after the battle of kamino and integrated into other clone regiments and battalions across the galaxy as they changed the defensive tactics of Kamino and the training under the dwindled ARC trainer capabilities
7:20 My guy clearly doesn’t have any knowledge of old original LEGO Star Wars sets. The 327th do have a LEGO Clone minifigure. The same figure is used to represent Commander Cody in the LEGO Star Wars video game; but the real boxes that the figure comes in says 327th Star Corps Trooper. The same can also be said for the 442nd Siege Battalion.
the 21st Nova Corps only getting a few seconds of screen time in 50 years of star wars media is a damn shame, these guys are arguably the best of the best in terms of clone troopers. Bacara holds these guys to such a perfectly high standard & like the drip these guys have is way too cool to not include them more often. They do badass shit, they’re trained to be brutal, & they do not give up if they run out of ammo, they will fight you with their bare hands, toughest clones in the whole galaxy.
Yeah right! 21st is so underrepreseted. I basically know them only from the old Battlefront games and thus got into reading more about them, should've definitely been shown in the Clone Wars series...
Actually the 501st does not have a irl organization because of how famous it is. The 501st was created IRL and George Lucas named anakin's legion 501st in their honor
The part that’s best about the 501st is that Anakin only ever had a small portion of the whole legion, which means that Anakin with like half to a quarter of what everyone else has is getting all this done
7th sky corps led by my goats Cody and Obi-wan 🐐 I wish we got to see more of them. I like that they had many specialized subunits. Plus you had to have some guts to serve in the 212th, which specialized in full frontal assaults and siege breaking tactics.
If I remember the wolfpack didn't order 66 their general as he was in a ship at the time. It was the 117th gunship wing of the navy that shot him down.
2:10 We even got one of branch from the 501 in germany, a workmate of mine, who is a member there had them on his wedding, darth Vader as "Best Man" They even got a Video made from a TV Studio
They're in a lot of countries actually, they've built an insane community...imagine your wedding just having a bunch of stormtroopers and clone troopers showing up, would be so unique! Would you do that though?
I always thought Ponds was Mace Windu’s direct clone commander and his troops being Windu’s as well. Had no idea it was actually lead by Neyo and Adi Galia.
a little fact on the 187th battalion, yes hasbro made them and produced their purple coloring, but they were shown in the clone wars season 7 when obi-wan Kenobi, Mace Windu and the Bad Batch went to take down a separatist facility with the 212th battalion, they had a different coloration with a redish brown look an 2 sort of fangs on the chest plate and abdomen. (Edit): Fav legion has got to be the 212th attack battalion because of their coloration and formidable will to never back down. I also think that Commander Cody is a bit underrated.

Coroscaunt guard>>>
Commander thorn

And the W design they had

The Galactic Marines would also beat a bunch of Super Battledroids using only their fitsts. They were brutal in their tactics, but they're the closest thing to a Star Wars space marine. 😂
And they won the battle fought by only their fists.
I’d kill for more Galactic Marine content. Wish they’d been at the 2nd battle of Geonosis.

Nah the old Republic commandos are closer to Space Marines than then
There's is something damn near poetic about the 501st staying by Anakin's side even as he became Vader.
10:19 fun fact: Captain Jek is the same clone trooper from the first star wars clone wars episode featuring yoda and coruscant guards.
that's not very fun
@ thats a sad fact
7:24 fun fact, Lego did actually make a 327th clone although it was in 2005 and the helmets were quite in accurate
In 2007 again, I wonder how he missed that
I kinda forgot about the old clones as I don't really consider them to fit in with the new age clone trooper but yeah, the statement that they never made a 327th is factually wrong
Lego has made a 327th star corps trooper, it uses the original phase 2 Lego helmet, and is from the early 2000's
Oh yeah you are right! I completely forgot about that
I had them :) they were so cool

The 327th gets my vote. Beating Mandalorians, the Morgukai Shadow Army, among a large number of other full scale battles, including Geonosis.
I love the galactic marines and the 41st
The 327th Star Corps has a minifig from the original Lego clone battle pack and the original Lego clone turbo tank
Galactic Marines Gang 🗿🗿🗿
The 501st getting that chad face in the thumbnail is honorable...
Haha no other legion could've been it
7:27 they actually did get a minifig, the Sky Corps trooper released in 2005
Im suprise Doom's Unit wasn't mentioned. They were one of the few clones who fought differently with Z-6 and shields.
The 327th absolutely got a figure, it was in the very first battle pack from 2007
