This is a failure of ASI, they never marked any such thing in the last 75 years. I was born and brought up in this locality for 39 years and never see any old monument thing which is protected or preserved by the ASI. However you can easily see lots of drug addicts around these unprotected structures. Now they are blaming DJB..

I bet , no action will be taken against IAS officer as he will reply that the file submitted by the mis level officer to him misguided him by not informing about the building as monument and by this way all responsibility will be fixed on the lower officer who initiated the proposal. That’s how colonial bureaucracy works.
At one time ASI is demolishing a thousand homes in Tuglakabad making 2 lakh people homeless. Meanwhile, an IAS officer demolishes a 14th century castle to build hos house! What a good job ASI!

This is the reality of IAS officers in india. They qualify AIS to live in palaces with army of servants and fleet of vehicles all at tax payer's money. These officers have done more harm to country than leaders who can be changed after five years. The time has come when for officers also the rule of cost to government should be applied. In fact they should also be paid salary only. Rest of the things like house, vehicle, domestic help etc are to be managed by them on their own. Then only they will understand the real pain of public.
You will not understand how much dedication and efforts needs to get this post.... How much hard work needed to get this amount of power....

Agar civil servant pakde bhi jaate hain tab unlogo ko suspend karte.. uske bad firse job join karte hain. Unke liye suspension holiday vacation ki tarah hota hain.
