    Does turning the yellow screw only affect the cold start idle and nothing else

  • @BryanLivingston-od8cj

    Before you plugged in the TPS tool was the red screw already backed all the way out ? And then once you plugged in tool your daughter continued to turn out ? Or was she going clockwise with it to see numbers change after tool is plugged in ? Also is all this suppose to be done with the dongle provided with the bike plugged in the whole time ?

      So I plugged in the tool, got the .5100v, backed out the red idle and then did the same for the yellow to make sure nothing is touching the tps..then set it to .4000v. Once this is done and if you adjust the tps, you will want to do an adaptive clear of the tps settings in the ECU..there is another video on that. But the .4000v is where it is supposed to be stock.

    Are you turning the tps sensor itself counter clockwise? Thanks for this video!

    What are your thoughts on going leaner? Say .35? Mine is way rich at the factory setting. 10hrs. Pv reset. Current factory map. @themotocrossmodchannel

    • @themotocrossmodchannelWulfMX
      @themotocrossmodchannelWulfMX  Год назад +2

      Some are doing this with some success, mine seems to run great right at .4000v. When the system sees changes in the TPS or other architecture of the sensors, the tables can shift to try to bring the values back to it's zero point, which is .4000v. I haven't been able to figure it out yet, but there must be a certain value if you go out of bounds that table will shift. Say .35 isn't enough but at .34, it shifts and pulls back the table. SUPER COMPLICATED BIKE! Test and see, thats what I do! Thanks for posting-

      If you have any TBI injected two stroke you should check your TPS. This has been common place in the snowmobile world since they switched to tbi injection about 15 years ago. I’d rather change jets personally.

    4:04 "backing out the red idle and yellow idle" I'm suppose to turn both knobs counter clockwise all the way correct? 10:40 is the .5118 reading per the manual or is somthing the dealer set it to? I just bought a 2023 TX300 and it constantly dies on idle, someone said to check the TPS readings. Thanks!

    • @themotocrossmodchannelWulfMX
      @themotocrossmodchannelWulfMX  Год назад +1

      So back out the red idle so the screw no matter what way you look at it, turn it counterclockwise until the numbers stop moving..it will be somewhere around .3800 on a 125.
      As for the yellow high idle, back that out with "clicks" and count them, turning it counterclockwise as if you were looking at it from the bottom..imagine if both of these were screws, screwed into something and you had to back them "out".
      As for the .5118v, that is basically the value that this bike was set to idle from the factory...if you do yours, your red idle number may be higher or lower than .5118v. That final value is really only what the voltage is as it sits if it idles it not, depends on how you want it set..the .4000v is the manual number they want. Good luck!

    Why TPS doesn’t adapting to ACU? I have tried with dongle and throttle 3 times. Can it be something wrong with ACU unit? I have tried on 3 different bikes and it’s the same issue. Many thanks

    • @themotocrossmodchannelWulfMX
      @themotocrossmodchannelWulfMX  7 месяцев назад

      You have to make sure the red and yellow idles are backed out, set the tps to .4000v, do the throttle reset, then go back and put the idles to .5150v or so and run it. The idles are last to be done. If it's not working there is something touching the tps and making it off.

      BC it is a necessary service point of owning a bike that has a TPS..it needs to be reset from time to time and sometimes it is "off" its stock value of .4000v (in this case). So it's just a thing that needs to be done.
