  • We talk to Royal Australian Air Force Commanding Officer of No.75 Squadron Andrew "Fiddy" Nilson as he outlines what a days flying for pilots is like during Exercise Pitch Black 24.
    With over 140 aircraft and 4000 personnel and a Carrier Strike Group participating in it for the first time, it is the largest iteration in its 43 year history of the exercise.

    This is the best of the Pitch Black videos. Sure it is nice seeing the variety of other aircraft at Darwin, but this video communicated so much more about how and why Pitch Black is valuable for all involved. Thank you. Great interview subject.

    The operation of 75 Sqn in the defence of Port Moresby flying Kittyhawks must be a source of pride to this historic unit.
