Hi, tnx for video. Why do you think the pavilion near the kiosk will increase income? in rules i find just this: "You need enclosures to accommodate animals, while kiosks grant you income during every break."
Hey thanks! Page 18 of the rulebook: "b. Collect income for the kiosks on your zoo map. Check each kiosk on your zoo map separately. Take 1 money for each unique building, special enclosure, occupied standard enclosure, and pavilion adjacent to it."
The solo variant of 7-6-5-4-3-2 just doesn't work. At the beginning you have no money to do much, and at the end, when you have TONS of resources, you can only take two actions. My house rule is 5-5-5-5-5-5..and when you get good, 5-5-5-5-5-4, and down. This makes for MUCH better games.
Its situational of course, however Ive seen people for example use a sponsor action on 5 just to get 5 money cause they wanted to get the card in 4 to move up, in that case Id say an X token is better many times than 5 money, well anyway its always situational :) Also in solo theres times where getting that 1 X token is the difference if able to claim another conservation project in the end or not.
It is very situational, but it can be very useful. For example I just had a game where I had built the entire zoo map out and my build card was on 5. At that point the build card no longer served any purpose and it was best to just get the plus token and put something else in the 5 spot. Also if you need to build an enclosure and maybe pick up a partner zoo before playing an animal card, but the Animal action is "in the way" of those 2 other actions.
Do not agree at all. Sometimes an X token can be invaluable! Seems better than just doing something that isnt going to benefit you that much either way. U invest in getting a more favorable position to play ur next turns more optimal and u get an X token to boot.

Everdell has a similar play from the market mechanic. Easy to forget in both games. Thanks for the tips!
Happy to help!
I thought the coffee cup was an old bicycle brake - wrong kind of break! 😁
Thanks for the tips. 👍🏼
haha! Thanks for your comment, happy to help :)
This is my number 1 game but I'm ashamed to say I didn't know about your #5 tip so thanks Josef! I must read rule books more thoroughly!!!
There we go, great to be able to help! :)
I totally agree. Played this game so many times, but never knew this rule. Can be really helpful.
Thanks for the tips! I've managed to crash and burn about five times in a row, ready to level up my game play!
Sweet! You can do it :)
Your #1 advice is so true! Even for more experienced players this is a great tip! ;)
Thanks! Yeah its not common to be able to play cards from a shared market row like that in board games!
thank you!!
Happy to hear this still can help someone out :D
Excellent tips :)
Thanks! :)

I agree sort of, I mean its a different style of playing, these days I do prefer the ARNO bot since I discovered it!
@@BoardgameswithNiramas - I should check out the Arno bot...boardgame geek likes it a lot.
@@dennissvitak148 Ive made a full playthrough video using it: ruclips.net/video/FBRqeq5tkVA/видео.html
@@BoardgameswithNiramas - Thanks. I'll take a look at it.
Are you telling me that i can buy or excute actions directly from the market with out having to catch or capture the card?
With the correct card upgraded yes!
@@BoardgameswithNiramas which card would it be?
@@rayvmz1274 Its the animal card to play animals from the market and so on, if you look at the upgraded side of the action cards its there :)
@@BoardgameswithNiramas thank you so much. Do you know when the aquarius expansion is gonna come out?
Comment on tip #5, taking a null action to just get an X is wasteful and should be avoided if at all possible...

Beautiful game design is out the window.
I like the game but it's not a great design.
You mean the mechanisms or art etc? I love both :D
To the point !!!!! a lot of nonsense talking
haha!
