Dang, I'm a little red in the face to admit I had no idea Bill Laswell was a central figure on Herbie Hancock's Future Shock. As the first cassette I ever bought with my own money (at the age of 11 or 12), that album was massively influential. When the record store I bought it from went out of business in 2017, I went to their close-out sale to see if there was anything cool worth picking up. The album I got? Future Shock on CD. Thnx for the upload, so cool!!!
Wishing you the best Bill and thank you for everything you give to your fans! There is a spiritual element and a magical element to your music and the music made with Praxis. The music industry can be so messy but you guys seem to always keep it right.
Whooooahhh this is sick man. First off, great flow between you two, secondly I know how big this is for you personally, being such a huge fan of him and his many projects. Thirdly, holy crap, what an absolute legend he is... truly remarkable how much he's done and does...
Wow, thank you for this. Bill means so much to so many of us players and listeners. I know he's had some health scares recently - wishing him all the best.
Gratitude 🙏 to you Bill for the music, the good vibes and vision. Be well and carry on on the light continuum. Sonic frequencies and exploration in consciousness. 🕉 The Great Happening. 🌠 💫
Great interview, I'm very late to Bills work but I'm loving it on multiple levels as I discover it. I can't help but think he and Holdsworth would have made something amazing had the opportunity arisen.

Bill Laswell is so loved.
All good roads lead to Bill Laswell!
Get well Bill. We need you. May the universe provide you with many more opportunities to create.
Whoaaaah sick. Bill is such an amazing producer and bassist!!!
Excellent!
Thank you SO VERY much for this. Bill has been my musical hero for 40 plus years.
I'm happy that you connected with it. I'll be doing more soon as I'm sure you know, there is so much more to talk about.
This is great, thank you

Beautifully worded and absolutely true. I'm not too familiar w Kant but a big fan of Zizek who I believe, is a fan of Kant.
So proud to own an Autographed copy of Praxis Transmutation by Bill Laswell.
❤❤❤
A pity he never did work with Peter Hammill , I think an album like “ The Noise” would have benefited from a collaboration
What was that album you mentioned you like as a kid? Now i'm curious
It started with Herbie Hancocks Future Shock
