His guitar tone is awesome. A Tele with a Cat 5 amp with drippin reverb. I liked the Nighthawks & The Drivers. He's a real inspiration for me as a guitar player.

jimmy thackery spent alot of time paying his dues with the likes of the great muddy waters.......and many other blues legends....and it sure is evident in his screaming crying style.........and id im also hearing the great roy buchannon all over this little ditty!!
He's very good.
He was also a contemporary of the legendary Danny Gatton. I hear a bit of influence in this piece. Jimmy Thackery is the real deal!
