It's always great to see a show from the era I grew up in and loved, but what's wrong with the video cutting out every once in awhile? Thanks for sharing this.
Greatest band ever. First time I saw them was bingley hall in 1980 in the uk. My kids are named after them 56 now and looking to find someone who’s selling a Time Machine. Fantastic.
I was at their first Savannah concert in November 1976. The Destroyer tour. This was good but the 1976 concert was even better. All songs were from their first 4 albums. If anyone else was there in 1976 please add your comments. The songs were Detroit Rock City, Strutter, Deuce, Firehouse, Shout it out loud, Hotter than Hell, Rock and Roll all Night, Cold Gin, Nothing to lose, Rock Bottom
@@mickeykmiller correct. the majority of the show is atlanta but the ending has knoxville in it. this is because when i first started putting audio to this i used the knoxville audio for the first reel and when i started the second reel i used atlanta to see which one i thought was better. reel 2 ends at 2000 man. when i put it together and got to god of thunder there was no way to do Peter's solo with the atlanta audio so i just left it and at that point i decided not to bother changing the end of reel 1 from my original synch. i could've tweaked black diamond ending some in retrospect but other than that im still enjoying the end product
Are you chopping the image or stretching it out of 4:3? This look better than the Loomus footage released last year. Did you find another source? Good jobs and thanks.
i cropped out the timecode and fit it to the screen and cleaned it up some hoping to make it more watchable. it darkened it up some but seems to have really sharpened up the image overall. i also believe it looks better than the source footage i worked with but its the same footage
It’s wild that it looks and sounds as if PC was still an extremely competent drummer during the Dynasty tour, yet they wouldn’t let him play on the Dynasty record?! Seems he could’ve handled the task.
I don't know, If i was a drummer & they said they were going to get Anton Fig to play my part and nobody would find out about it (things were different then) I would consider it.
@@ThundersMcCoy Oh 100% agreed Fig is/was on a whole other level-though somewhat unknown at the time (AFs solo record being his first big recording gig). But KISS just plugging in some balding rando (at the time) was not going to happen. Fans would’ve rejected that-so they had to hide it. Having said that, there’s really no extreme material on Dynasty that PC couldn’t have handled. Would it have sounded different-absolutely. But it’s not like they were out there laying down Neal Peart tracks. This is KISS we’re talking about-pretty much straight RnR drumming. I think what killed PC was drinking/drugs, causing his inconsistency and attitude issues.
To whoever posted this. I’m not sure if you were responsible for the editing but if you were, you might want to consider letting the songs play in their entirety and fill in the blank audio with stills or maybe other footage from the same time period. Otherwise this is cool to see once but it’s not very enjoyable.
It wasn't second. This video is only 52 minutes so it's not the "complete" show. It's "complete" from the standpoint of the "complete show that exists".
Whoever took the time to piece this together and out up here on RUclips I just want to say thank you.

I was there too! SWEET was the opening act. Still right up there with my all time favorite shows!
I've watched this more times in 2 weeks than I watched Largo in 30yrs

Ace was on. Hearing Radioactive and Move On was a trip. Great vid

I love everything Dynasty
My fav Kiss album
I'm glad to see more Dynasty shows besides the Largo which is the only one I've seen many times over
And largo had a weak sound
@marfflesCurt needs to let these shows come out because these tours are old to keep locked up, let them go Curt & make money

🤘😝🤘
On the Largo 79 show, I see & hear Peter swearing on Black Diamond.
The video is Savannah and the audio is from the Atlanta soundboard.
Wow, Fonz. You never miss a new Kiss video. You sure do get around a lot haha
The fake fonz of course
@@Eric-r6rfor someone who hates Kiss, he does show up a lot.
Sounds like he says Knoxville at the end of the show.

Recording is way different than playing live.

Hard Times - Peter C. ???
No way !!!
Never ever !!!
It sound better than Largo who didnt really give justice to their live sound back then...
i agree i think this sounds 1000x better than the Largo show
KILLER! :-). Is there a way to get it in the original aspect ratio or is this how the source tape is formatted?
you can get the original aspect ratio from any trader. its silent and timecoded and unmixed
The fans at this show were ripped off since Kiss played their entire show in 52 mins. Probably the only time they did that on the entire tour, heh? 🤔
y radioactive y move on???

do you want to watch Savannah 1979 footage or do you want to listen to Atlanta 1979 audio?
How bout you just don't watch anything i upload?
No need to take it personally.
Dr. Love second in the set, that's very rare

Rarer than this that they play Makin' Love in Cleveland on that tour
