Just been to the D-Day Story in Southsea to see the 'last remaining LCT' and yet here are some more Landing Crafts - once part of HMS Cricket (now Hamble Country Park) which was a secret WW2 Training base. Fascinating - what a shame they cannot be restored!
make me wonder how they can just dump unwanted boats and stuff by just leaving it on the shore to rot away ....... and no one stopped them or made them clear it away ...... especially when if i put my rubbish bags out a day early, i get a letter from the council
I remember those landing craft being in good condition in the early 80's
Me too. Used to play there as a kid. Recall finding belts of ammo there around 1986 too. All good adventures 😊
Can u show us where this is?

Back at your sir - great discovery
I think these could be Falklands war landing crafts. Possibly Foxtrot 7/8
It's possible, unfortunately I know very little about them. Thank you for the information, 😊
Can you show us where they are please?
