@@talvarjitaahan3743 I'm not entirely sure in a professional setting myself, but contributing to communities I'm in has helped me get a lot of minor opportunities I wouldn't have had otherwise. For example, posting consistently in a community and having the head of that community notice your work. Working with one of the heads can get you _more_ recognition on an even higher level.
I just graduated from school and I really want to get into the game art industry but I'm just having trouble getting my foot in the door. Most places are looking for senior level artists and there really isnt many options for junior level artists I would love if you had any tips for getting started
i am admittedly not a great artist. i’ve been drawing for a while but only started taking it seriously my senior year of high school. i started engineering school this semester, hated it and changed my major and hope that i can improve enough to build a portfolio and potentially work as a riot artist one day. i’m not really sure where to start tho, i’m mainly focusing on perfecting anatomy before i get to style and all that but i just don’t really know where to go from there.
What a wholesome and humble guy.. the fact that I'm getting some insights about his journey and tips on how to get into riot (a job that i'd really like) and everything about the industry in general, i appreciate it so much!
I’m 16 now and I have been practicing since I was 11 I’ve been recently really practicing hard so I can work for riot games one day it’s my dream job 😭
its my dream job too but now im kinda losing hope since its hard to gain connections but hopefully once I graduate I already have the connections I need

I want to take art classes but in my place here in the Philippines its kinda difficult. Also i think im taking the wrong college course.. I just feel its not in line with what i want to be working in the future. -Edit: the interview actually is pretty helpful for us beginner artists who still have no knowledge abou the industry.. A lot of thanks for this channel❤
Fellow Pinoys count me in. It's really saddening how we don't have that much opportunity here. I'm taking fine arts in college right now cause it's the only art related course available in my province, definitely not enjoying it. I kinda wish we have art courses here in line with getting to this kind of industry, cause I always wanted to be a concept artist.
Graphic design student here and my opinion in this based on my peers in my major who are also artists and freelancers is that you should still go to school. I don’t know about Art colleges in the Philippines but at the very least get a minor or major in Business. Because if you’re going towards the freelance route, you’ll have to learn to market and manage yourself. A major in graphic design will still help grow your creativity and design process but if I’d known art bootcamps exist, I would’ve gone for that instead. Where I live it costs about $9,000 or more but that’s still cheaper than university education.
Welp I'm losing hope after losing count at 500 jobs no one wants me, I make both Illustrations and characters concept art, both paiting and photobashing. But does anyone wants me? No. At this point I'm just not sure if art is my job anymore
i would take his advice,But considering how many sjw's work at riot or how many times they have bent the knee to sjw tantrums. I'm sure it would do more harm than good.

Bruv most artists don’t care at all about politics and frankly it’s just annoying, especially living in America. Everything doesn’t have to be politicized lmao
I had Charles as a teacher for many years and learned a ton from him, more than I did at Art Center. Definitely an amazing teacher and skilled artist
Thanks for comment!
How, did u reach out to him or something.

Rooting for you!!
fundamentals start from there
Study concept art from their games when it comes time to make a portfolio for them
Go for caricatures of characters in league. Trust me. The development of how they look can imply how other designs you make will look. Good luck 👍
