Sorry, but it's wrong to say that Delon was only known to old movie enthusiasts and the French. In the period 1960-1990, almost every European knew who Alain Delon was, and I assume that in other parts of the world, maybe except the US.

I wouldn't worry too much, so much of that is image. I'm not saying Delon isn't a good-looking guy, because he is (or rather was in his heyday), of course! But never forget the words of Cary Grant: "Everyone wants to be Cary Grant; even I want to be Cary Grant". If your objective is "look as good as a 60s celebrity style icon" then you're always going to be disappointed, even if you're the real life person behind that icon (Sean Connery looked great as Bond but never forget that he wore a toupee and false teeth and had to have his man-boobs shrunk with ice packs before shirtless scenes). That's Hollywood for ya! And yeah, Le Samourai is such a great movie, I was rewatching it only recently and I'd forgotten how fantastic it was!

In Romania, too, he was popular. Even in the modern age, a Romanian electronic music band made a song and the chorus goes like "Ce bine e să fii Alain Delon.", which means "It's so good to be Alain Delon.".
His style was very French of it's time and can be summarized by the French expression 'Bon chic, bon genre' roughly translated into 'good style, good class'. Easily equivalent to what many are talking about today as 'old money style' with a French Cote d'Azure flavor .
These days a gentleman needs prepared responses to comments about his appearance. The two words Thank You, and not a word more suffice when one receives a compliment. For a snarky remark something like 'Coming from you, I"ll take that as a compliment' will make the point and in a gentlemanly way.
Also if you can I’d recommend trying to Rock the gentleman side part, really completes the look. More of a tiddy side part with a suit or nice dress shirt and more messy side part with regular shirt or polo. I notice Alain does this as well
Delon's style is as timeless as it gets. I'd like if you'd consider Irish actor Patrick McGoohan for a style treatment. Schrader said: "We don't have anyone in Hollywood like him." Gere told interviewers that for inspiration while training for the movie, he hung a giant photo of Delon in his home. NYT article.
Could you do a video on hairstyles, please? I love Delon's hair style, longish, lose, with forelocks. The style today is awful? Hair shaved on the sides, or half shaved and what looks like a cap on top. It doesn't do anything for anybody. But guys are following this style mindlessly. It's certainly not to attract women. I liked that your favorite is Delon. Mine too. I think he's heart stoppingly beautiful, even when older. THe most beautiful man in history.
His "style" is that he was handsome. Feminine handsome. As far as his clothes, his taste was quite mediocre. His clothes were no great shakes. He dressed like any other guy in the 1960s. For true French style, check out Belmondo, who always looked stylish, and sexual. He was very sexy. Delon was very attractive. Rolled up sleeves and a button left unbuttoned are hardly stylish if you're in a blue collar world. Look at Rock Hudson for handsome 60s virility with well-fitting shirts and suits. Another 60s fashion icon was Cary Grant. He looked at home in a tuxedo or a bathing suit. His clothes were always a perfect fit. The best-dressed man in Hollywood was 1950s Gary Cooper. No one can touch his style in anything, from tuxedo to cowboy hat. Coop had it nailed.
Purple Noon (Plein Soleil) is a great film in its own right, but a very disappointing adaptation of the source material, Patricia Highsmith's Talented Mr Ripley. The same goes for the other main adaptation of the novel with Matt Damon and Jude Law- great movie, horrible adaptation (as an aside Jude Law's outfits in that film are among my favourite costumes in cinematic history, I would kill for that white sailing jacket- as indeed Tom Ripley did lol). In the former, Ripley's attack on Philippe is provoked and almost justified, and (SPOILERS) he ends up getting caught. In the latter, Ripley's attack on Dickie is almost accidental, and (SPOILERS) he ends up feeling deeply regretful locked in a prison of his own mind. Whereas in the book (SPOILERS) he kills Dickie simply because he covets his lifestyle, has no regrets and gets away scot free. He's far closer in personality to Hannibal Lecter (aloof, suave, cool under pressure, highly intelligent, utterly amoral) in the books than he is in almost all of the cinematic adaptations. The only one that comes close to reflecting book Ripley is John Malkovich in Ripley's Game (which is, not coincidentally, by far my favourite Ripley adaptation). I know this isn't pertinent to the topic of the video, but it's something that's always really annoyed me, that almost every adaptation always feels the need to soften the character from the cool-headed psychopath that he's really meant to be. I'll be interested to see how Andrew Scott approaches the role in the upcoming Netflix series, but I ain't holding my breath.
Your seemingly endless movement of hands are very distracting to viewers! U may want to briefly intro your topic and close briefly with your face online. Bulk of your narration should be synchronized with images of Delon or whoever your topic for such episode.
Less is more. Women dont like mass monsters, just a good silhouette (v taper) and the details like forearm veins, abs, serratus. Face beats all that though.

Your seemingly endless movement of hands are very distracting to viewers! U may want to briefly intro your topic and close briefly with your face online. Bulk of your narration should be synchronized with images of Delon or whoever your topic for such episode.
In no way, are you the same type as Delon. You are blonde and his hair is brown coloured. And by the way you look better.
No he does not look better😂
Never.
You can't look better than Delon
An average size man with lady eyes get over it he's not all that!
rosica😅
Less is more. Women dont like mass monsters, just a good silhouette (v taper) and the details like forearm veins, abs, serratus. Face beats all that though.
Roger Moore looked way better in suits than Delon
Oh no! And no mistery in Moore.
Never
Nahh
LOL, dude, you don't have same hair colour and eye colour as Delon. He had dark hair and dark blue eyes, you are blonde with baby blue eyes.
