Erin Smith is a sport psychology and executive coach helping women rise into leadership roles, and navigate male-dominated careers. In this provocative and empowering talk, she shares deep insights from studying women who have been successful in male-dominated spaces, and provides a unique perspective (and tools!) for how women can cultivate their own personal power that will naturally bring about the gender equality we’ve been fighting for. Erin is a Performance Psychologist and Executive Coach who boasts 15+ years in corporate America, predominantly in private equity and hedge funds. Since 2017 she has been running a thriving private coaching practice that most notably focuses on guiding women towards leadership roles in male-dominated fields. With her personal experience and hundreds of hours of researching successful women Erin is uniquely qualified to help high performers rise above the usual barriers into highly visible roles in leadership in male dominated fields. She has a special knack for rapport-building and trust-cultivation that her clients love, which aids in translating leadership challenges into actionable insights, and above all, lasting change. This talk was given at a TEDx event using the TED conference format but independently organized by a local community. Learn more at www.ted.com/tedx

Thank you! Yes, I was disappointed to hear the sound quality. But, as I said in my talk, it’s more important to focus on what is within my control…my voice and my message is stronger than the messed up audio and I hope you’ll still consider sharing with others who’s voices should also be heard and amplified!
