What confused me the most is the fact that I watched every week thinking it'd get better..😢
Every episode was like an Idiot Savant perk you might say, eh?
Let me explain to you the Darth Plagueis thing. Although it is indeed true that there can only be two sith, a master and an apprentice, have you ever wondered how they keep on being only two? Well, there's three ways of assuring that.
1) Once the apprentice thinks he became stronger than his master, he kills his master then go look for an apprentice of his own.
2) The apprentice may find an apprentice of his own, he trains that apprentice and then both of them can kill the former master in order to ensure the rule of two.
3) Once the master finds a better apprentice, he kills the first one. Kinda like happened when Sidious replaced Dooku for Anakin.
I think what happened in The Acolyte was the second option. Qimir found an apprentice so both of them can kill Darth Plagueis. Hope that makes it clear.
Third wheeling siths are bit of common thing. Ventress, Savage, Starkiller and that Vader wannabe lady from EU may tell us about.
Well, Ventress and Savage were not sith, they're assassins. Although they used the force and a lightsaber they were not taught The deeper secrets of the Sith as far as I know.
@@AlexandreSardeiro But Dooku admited it was, what Ventress and Savage were supposed be eventually. That is also why Sidious insisted about killing her.
@@motdurzazbratislavy6802 I know. But neither of them got to actually be a sith in the end.
(Well, Savage became a sith but not an official one, only as a pupil of Darth Maul, who's a renegade sith)
@@AlexandreSardeiro But they were brought in by that intent. Also Mae here is not apprentice either. She was tested to become one. But at this point she was more or less in same position as Ventress. At least that is how I through about it.
@@motdurzazbratislavy6802 Well, I didn't understand The Acolyte ending very well so I can't really say anything about that.
Great review but you are being too kind. This series is full of bad writing!
