WaterWaker haven't I told you she fell into a cauldron along with Obelix that Getafix had made.😁 Jokes aside I always wonder how she does it.🤔 She has just incredible stamina, precision and timing which others can just dream about. Dynamite 🐺🤘🔥🔥🔥
One word: UNPRECEDENTED. There is no one composing music like this today. This is LOVEBITES metal and sounds like no other band. Sounds like a song you'd hear on another planet who are light years ahead of us. They just continue to impress and redefine metal. Salivating till the next album... I WANT MORE!! 🤘
P.S. Midori and Miyako practice together hours on end to achieve these spectacular solos. Did you know that Midori is Miyako’s sensei as well? As awesome as they are individually their humility and total respect for each another’s virtuosity propels them further towards excellence.
Great reaction and analysis. This is one of those songs that sort of changes the rules. I think at one time they were just happy to play metal together. Now I think they have to be aware that they are setting a new standard in metal, and they are putting the pedal to the metal.
I've said it before elsewhere, but this song is like Haruna got behind the controls of the Lovebites bullet train and smashed it at full speed through every roadblock (railblock?) in their way. This feels like it'll be difficult to pull off live, even for this band... we all know that they can, but actually seeing it happen will be quite something.
To execute an intricate and complex composition designed by composer extraordinaire Miyako, the musician, irrespective of the instrument, should be proficient in time signature dynamics, a simple concept but have failed many a musician. But not Lovebites. Time and again they have proven mastery and immaculate skills in time signature dynamics. And having strong command of music theory and being music sheet accomplished composer musicians , their Jedi level qualities would see them performing this composition Live.
Another Great reaction, B. This song is such a banger. I asked my Metalcore drummer son what kind of Statement Haruna was making with that mini-solo at the end. He smiled and said "I'm F-ing Bad-Ass, deal with it" 🤘🐺🤘
Yea, this is my favorite of the album. Maybe even my favorite Lovebites song. Such an insane song all around. One of their most technical songs too, can't help but wonder if Miyako wrote it to challenge the whole band, because performing this live will not be easy.
They brutally wreck their instruments in this song🤯. Asami's too. Outstanding energy from Haruna. Yes, what the 'live' looks like to this song 🤔. Stand and deliver for sure🤣🤣 🤘🤘👍👍
There are a couple songs from Glory, Glory to the World that still need to be filmed. Paranoia and Dystopia Symphony still need to be filmed and with audience restrictions lifted the setlists are going to be a bit tight for technical songs I bet. Hopefully they'll be able to squeeze those in with all the new songs and fan favorites.
This band always growing, growing, growing, growing and growing. Even in hiatus they're composing song and improving their skills, until their "5th element" joins, they're upped their game! And i believe, this album still not reached their peak, because right after this album, the next album will be more greater because we have Fami to add more colors!
can't wait to see them in big metal festival such as Wacken, Download, Bloodstock, etc and this song become the encore of their live performance and the opening song is 'We Are The Ressurection', what would the audience react
Your analysis is always accurate and excellent! In particular, I was surprised that Fami's bass line is really sensitive. In this song, the bass and drums, which are the rhythm section, are pushed to the fore like never before. The amazing ability of the bass and drums, which is usually hidden in the two guitars, is completely exposed in this song.
My favorite song on the album. I didn't think anything could beat Judgement Day, but this one did, all because of Asami's vocals on this track. Her best metal vocals to date.
I’m right here! Your reactions are always in sync with mine. When you used the term epic I was thinking that a second before. Most every song they produce can be used as a theme song to a film or series. How is this freaking possible?
Miyako took 1st solo Midori 2nd etc. During this song Haruna held up a sign saying "FAST" and Asami wrote a note that said "too high". Miyako who wrote the song also wrote a quick note that said "Asami & Haruna.... Sorry". All the ladies were having fun with it.
My fav song on the album. Getting very close to being my all-time fav Lovebites track. It's got everything you expect (and more) from Miyako's compositional magic - power/speed, thrash, prog with all the classical music elements that provides the subtle (and not so subtle) key & time signature changes that make this track feel like a cheetah sprinting after its prey and yet, melodic
After watching all those reactions of yours regarding J-metal i'm pretty sure i know where you're coming from. And as soon as i saw the recommendantion on my screen i knew exactly what your facial expressions and reactions in total would be and in which parts of the song. As of many other fans, my favorite in all LB's discography. Melodically aggressive, aggresivelly melodic, epic, warlike, uplifting...yes, i want to see them and hear it live as much as you do. It's the last song of the album and i really want it to be the last of their concerts. I imagine the crowd rushing forth, screams and fists filling the air, Asami going beserk with her vocals and the instruments bringing chaos. That's how you end up a show, you leave everybody completely out of stamina, struggling to catch their breath back while you walk off of the stage with a smirk. These ladies...damn...can't find any words to praise them properly. I wish there was a word stronger than "thank you". What a song! What an album! I have the instrumental one. OK, Asami's vocals are out of this world, right? But, particularly in this song, though instrumentally is insane, they add a lot, i mean A LOT. Half of its epicness comes from them. "Solitary fire..AHHH...even with the scars, i'm not satisfied". Her own lyrics..and some years ago she didn't know what "heavy metal" was!!!
From a recent interview with Lovebites in GekiRock a Japanese music magazine, Asami, after FAMI says " I want to keep improving my skills." Asami comments " Fami is growing up too fast, I don't want us to be left behind'" .
My favourite song of the whole album for me pure adrenaline, Asami's range is incredible, the instrumental part is overpower, Haruna plays at curvatured speed, Miyako, Midori and Fami Incredible, I like the whole album and the Blu-Ray of the bassist's choice plus 4 studio video studio with Fami is beautiful. These girls are fantastic musicians with a talent and a great passion for music, plus they are also Cute and very Nice a winning mix! Great Reaction🤘🏼🎸🥁🎤🐺❤️🔥🇯🇵🇮🇹

SSS is an epic song for all the reasons already stated. They channel Dragonforce with this one. Everyone gets at least a little time to shine. Highlights for me: the Fami-Haruna dialog coming out of the instrumental bridge and Haruna's 2-bar solo where she throws in various diminutions (one 8th-note quad, two 16th-note tom-kick fills, one 8th-note sextuplet and two 16th-note snare quads) while seeming to use every part of her drumset; seems I haven't heard either of these in previous LB songs. A number of their songs start with a broadly paced intro, slower than the rest of the main song. This intro is only slightly slower and 💣smokin'🔥 right out of the gate. I'm interested in seeing how that will be accomplished live: two-part guitar arpeggios AND guitar power chords? . . . hmm. Likewise, the guitar arpeggios after the second chorus sound like three-part to my ears. I wonder how they will pull this off live, as well. Perhaps Miyako is using her octave setting? And thus, that is why Lovebites is unique, a class of its own as well as a paradox of a red swan happenstance, which we might never see a similarity ever in our lifetime.
