He won, because he's the best thing to come out of BGT. Proper talent and hard work.
IceFire 425 the comedian got the golden buzzer during that night.
The reason they did that was so that he can have more performances.

For anyone that’s played piano, you know this is extremely talented
Jacob Albuquerque Yes-
Not really. For professionals and/or prodigies. this is considered medium at best- if he wanted to play something that's actually hard there's many options out there such as Moonlight Sonata 3rd Movement (Which is considerably the easiest of the hard pieces on the piano). Then there's La Campanella, Liebesfreud, Liebesleid and Liebestraum. Then there's Chopin's etudes such as Wrong Note, Torrent, Waterfall, Winterwind. After that there's the Grandes études de Paganini, The Trancendental Etudes such as Feux Follets (ALSO by Liszt), the Hungarian Rhapsody, Opus Clavicembalisticum by Sorabji. THEN we have Gaspard de la Nuit by Ravel, Alkan's Concerto for Solo Piano (WHICH, in it's entirety is 50 minutes long), Sonata No. 5 by Scriabin, Trois mouvements de Petrouchka by Stravinsky, Piano Concerto No. 2 by Prokofiev, Étude for Piano by Ligeti. Those are just some examples- there's still more and the piece he played IS NOT one of them.
For anyone that's actually played the piano more than 1 hour through out a youtube tutoriel, you know that it isn't extremely hard. Technically and emotionaly. I'm not saying he's not talented just that there is over 2 million of virtuoso in China only. To be clear : virtuso is another planet from what you've seen in this video. No hate in this comment, just give the right amount of respect for pros.
@@whydoieven1400 I couldn't agree more honestly. It doesnt take talent to be able to play Chopin's etude. It takes talent and extremely hard work, precision.
Those that master them, they are really astonishing. But of course they won't try this show as it's mainstream entertainment for the people.
Ryan Cooper ok but wait, what’s the name of play he did in the video?
Some people hear music, some feel music. He does both.
wrong. he IS music.
xD
He can’t even play Clair de lune properly smh
Joe Rudge can you?
@@joerudge5795 Well atleast hes more talented than your useless ass
four years later and i still cannot get over how amazing this performance was
His background theme is "Human" performed by Rag'n'Bone Man.
He's playing Clair de lune by DeBussy and mix with Bloodstrean by Ed Sheeran.
Hope this help some people keep asking about that.
Wishing Tokio will become one of the best pianist of all times.
Thank you. I have been wondering about the music, even the background song, so thanks a bunch for the info. Very thoughtful of you, answered my questions perfectly.
Also, IMO, he IS one of the most talented pianists I have seen or heard and I love his mixes and blends. He is extremely talented and original and that should serve him well.
@claude lionzo yea he won
Muhammad Hafiz he will become one of the best best next to ludovico einaudi😁
He won’t become a great pianist because he has awful technique.
Joe Rudge who are you?
my heart drops every time the beat drops, I have listened to this a lot and every time I do its the same. You can feel him through the music. Its perfect.
Tokio Myers sounds like a name of a movie character, he is really talented guy god bless him...
He's very humble. As talented as he is, that's special!
you mean "Adlet Myer" from rokka no yuusha? 😁
He's so nervous at first and then when he starts playing it, its like everyone and thing fades away. He's so deep with his music.
It's called getting in the zone
It's when he's SO deep in his work that he's in a sort of trance. It only happens when your focus is solely on what your doing right now.
It happens to gamers, musicians, actors, anything that makes you focus on what your doing.
When your in the zone, you forget your fears, your sense of worry, the only thing Tokyo was feeling was his music, and when he was in the zone, it wasn't his body or his mind you were hearing, but his soul.

That's the face of someone who really feels the music deep inside.
And especially has a *deep* connection with the instrument he plays. As a musician myself (albeit it has been YEARS since I last played an instrument), I still feel a special connection to the very first instrument I played - the cello.
It's like an old friend who has always been around through the tough times. No matter how long it has been, even split up (my family couldn't afford one, so it was provided by the school), there's always something special.
It's one of those things where you sit and listen, no clapping no cheering, but just in awe of this amazing music

I actually don’t because unless I’m mistaken that means we would have had one less performance of his to watch, or am I mistaken? I’m not too sure what the GB allows you to skip. In any case my favorite contestant and artist on the show, ever.
Swann golden buzzer makes you go straight to the lives whereas everyone else who got yeses not all go through to the lives - the judges choose again but the acts don’t perform again
Josie England Oh Okay thanks
they didn't have any golden buzzers left by that moment, if I'm not mistaken
This young man is amazingly talented and humble. I don't understand why acts like this don't get the golden button; most likely because they want to see more from him before the finals. Stunning performance. 🤗

@@topazzgirl2152 OMG I'm so jealous! Good for you!!!
When he played, its like he's in different dimension. Just him and the piano . . . And Simon loves him.
It's very rare for pianists to play so aggressively, yet still produce a gentle and soft note. It's almost like a really bad scratch. You have so many emotions and you just want to hammer the keys but the talented few can turn all these emotions into something beautiful.
He's Amazing
That's rare?
oooo now iknow why people are so amaze lol
Skyline R34 beautifully said
DownieMcSyndrome I know your question wasn’t directed at me, but... I think for many, yeah. It’s really hard to play the way he did and make it sound as if his fingers were already resting on the keys. I played piano for years and I don’t have the kind of control he has when he hits the keys aggressively. It’s a lot harder than it looks. One small mistake could ruin everything that was good about the piece so lifting your hand up that high and bringing it back down with that kind of force is kind of a gamble.
I don´t know you but to me it felt like I was watching something never done before. Brilliant!
I'm so glad he won the series, he's amazing
You can see his passion the way he press that key.

I've been in love with the piano for a larger portion of my life (granted I can't play it). This is my favorite act in any Got Talent show that I've seen. Such grace and melody in how he plays, and he plays beyond perfect. Not to mention how well he can go along with the song (Ed Sheeran). I've been waiting for this and I really want him to win.
