I knew about the infamous Mac & Me clip because Nostalgia Critic used it a few times in his reviews. I didn't know that Paul Rudd used it too. How you mentioned the van having blinds, I think that was just a thing at the time. In the first few minutes of my film Through the Devil's Eyes, you can see blinds behind the main actor.
The van blinds were a big surprise for me. Were you the owner of the van from Through the Devils Eyes? My family used to have a van in the mid 90’d that had a tv and a backseat that folded into a bed. That thing was awesome. Only thing missing was the Mac and Me blinds. It had a pull down screen but they didn’t have the full on blinds.
@@ScottyDunn No, our lead actor, James Andre, is the owner of that van. I remember that it had carpeting all over the place. I know he still has it, I should try and convince him to put in a TV and a backseat bed (that's another thing, it didn't have a backseat at all, ha ha.)
I had NO idea about the Paul Rudd clip thing!! That got me laughing for 5 minutes straight!!! LOL oh my gosh great video!!
Thanks! lol I respect his long term dedication to this gag.
Same, conan saying “youve been showing that stupid clip on my show for 15 years” i cackled

Another great video Scotty. Keep up the good work!
Thanks Patreck!
Great video, Scotty. Very interesting, funny, and informative for such a Mac&Cheesey topic.
Thank you Louis! It was fun diving into this bizarre little gem.
Wow memories flooding back. Please review rock-a-doodle-doo next
Oh man… Rock a Doodle. That one takes me back. Used to love it. I’ll have to get on that soon.
I wonder what Burger King would rip off for a film...
Either a movie about that creepy King mascot from a while back. Or a superhero origin story about the kid with the cyclops goggles from the 90’s
@@ScottyDunn They could easily use that mascot in a horror film.
Oh 100%. It would give Winnie the Pooh blood and honey a run for its money.
And that's the origin story for The Solar Opposites
Had to look up The Solar Opposites. Hadn’t heard of it before.
Son and I watched this last year out or morbid curiosity and it was bad
It does have a great hook… what if McDonalds made E.T.? I hope it was at least a memorable experience for you and your son.
Mac and me is a classic, and how dare anyone say anything bad about this trash ass movie!
😆 you're right!
