Hey guys! Some of you guys may know that this video was up a bit earlier today, but we made a mistake with portraying some of the Icebox site smokes, so this is the reupload! As always, enjoy!
it's almost the same, smoke the choke points, doors , etc as an omen main and for retake i like to throw some random smokes around site for easy and quite movement
if you walk out of a smoke, the enemy will see your gun before you see them, so, passing through a smoke is hard. So, smokes act like a wall, good for blocking annoying angles, and good for making your enemies struggle to enter the site.
I just started playing Val and Iv already been bullied because of bad smocks placement so I’m thankful the video and mind you it was like my third game
Being a viper main I wanted to branch out more and learn a few other smoke agents and this video has been very helpful with basic need to know info so thank you and to answer the question I'll always love to play viper.
I enjoyed the video, but for the sake of the tutorial I'd say: Enlarge the minimap, make it not rotate so the more newbies can follow along a little better. Brimstone smokes were mega-helpful tutorial wise because of the map :) At least in the custom map photage :D 'Oh and don't put the map icon over the mini map :D Otherwise great work, and nice editing :)
No, because it gives the retakers way too much space to get close and burst through, which means that as soon as you get into site, you can't really put that wall up anymore without giving up considerable space to the other team. The only time you would want to do a wall on pillar would MAYBE be if you had Viper ultimate, and the plan was to get onto site quickly and ult for the post plant.
Why is no one talking about the giga chad two omen smokes in front of b entrance that literally let all 5 attackers into site and the deffenders can’t see or do anything

Doesn't it help if the smoke is much deep into the site for eg Haven Garage: if the smoke comes onto from the door into the site doesn't that make it more difficult for CT?
I agree, I really hate when players use the smokes shown for A site on Bind. It makes it really easy for defenders to rotate into back site without being contested and they can easily spam the plan spots. Deeper smokes let you team take space and control the bomb site. Smokes should always help your team get favorable duels rather than pretend like they are sage walls that stop enemies from pushing.
I'm having such a hard time with smokes. I just don't see how they would provide an advantage unless for sneaking a spike plant. If not for planting, the enemy can just wait until the smoke is gone, right?
Fact: If someone puts the title "This is why you horribly play Valorant" in a tutorials guide then its actually true cuz u know urself that ur terrible at Valorant and search for guides to improve it Don't take this seriously. It's just a fact
note: controllers don't work in iron and bronze since players just... ignore them and run right through them. also nobody except for the controller will be nice enough to watch the smokes so that the site is actually safe

cuz defender is really easy. just smoke the place they entrance.

Usually i smoke in a line so that we can get a quick plant and defend instead of dying trying to enter especially at my elo(Brimstone)
QOTD: I play Viper on Haven, Icebox and Breeze, Astra on Split, Omen on Ascent and Brim on Bind.
Isn't the Viper wall on Breeze B site better through the middle thing so you can plant easily and block off more angles?
