  • In this video, I give a spoiler free review of the upcoming British film "Silver Haze". I also discuss the ways in which filmmakers can blend reality and fiction in order to tell narrative stories with authenticity. This analysis makes reference to several other related films. These include: Crystal Moselle's film "Skate Kitchen", Dee Ree's film "Pariah", Sophie Littman's "Sudden Light", Chloe Zhao's "The Rider" and Charlotte Regan's "Scrapper".
"Silver Haze" will play BFI Flare Film Festival in 2024 and is due for release in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on the 29th March. "Silver Haze" stars Vicky Knight with Esme Creed-Miles and is directed by Sacha Polak (who previously directed "Dirty God").

I can think of many films that need more kaijus in them.
