Thank you for the link! I’ve ordered a couple of times! Great product!
Maybe you didn’t see my previous comment/question. We’ve been looking for the scrapper thing that’s on your excavator. We can’t locate a dealer here in New England.
Hey Mike, here's an idea for your outdoor firewood rack by the shed. Make it a "father and Eva" project on Eva's channel and have you (Mike) as a guess star/helper.. Just a thought
We just want to say how much we enjpy your programs! How nice to watch inciteful, uplifting AND no bad language!!
Melissa, nice arms lifting that table out of the trailer. You may not see it but we do. Nobody build a fire like you, Mike good job.
I get my fire starter at Rath! Nothing even comes close to how well it works ! Thank you
Great to hear!
some good looking soil for a future garden back in the woods.
I'm a 76 yr new subscriber originating from central NYS & have devoured dozens of your videos in the past 3 days. In the 1980's & 90's we cut for 3 residential homes. We were fortunate to have a John Deere tractor, old manure spreader & pull behind splitter & cut dozen cords of hard wood. You'll know what i mean when i say we called it the poor man's health club. A point of interest, my son sells containers of hard wood over seas to China, Viet Nam & Malaysia among others & travels there 3 times a year. Of course, Covid threw a monkey wrench into his travel & income. Anyway, love your videos & look forward to each new one.
Good morning Morgans and friends. Sure would love to have an excavator. Have a day! Thanks.
I THINK YOU ARE THE MOST AMAZING WORKER///
NO MADDER WHAT YOU WORK ON,IT COMEAS OUT BEAUTIFUL///
Melissa's right about stretching, and keeping your body as relaxed as possible while doing it. Good work today Mike.
Nothing like a Sunday morning with the Morgan’s..👍😊
Just watched this video after clicking the link in the email. Worked awesome.
Good morning Mike and Melissa, that patio furniture sure dressed the patio up really nice just like they were built for each other. Thanks for sharing the cleaning up the clearing in the woods, that's going to be awesome when you get it finished. Stay safe around there and keep up the fun you all are having. OLD DAWG DREAMING Fred.
How you been Fred?
@@OutdoorsWithTheMorgans Doing great for the shape I'm in.Enjoying life as I am able and thankful for each sunrize I see.
That KX057-4 always amazes me. Stump pulling power is incredible.
I love your life. You get to work while doing what you love. You work hard, But, you make it look like so much fun. Nothing is perfect and everyone has problems. You're no different, but you have a great attitude towards life and family ❤️ ♥️ . Keep it going. Your wife is right about the stretching!!! Love you guys!!
Always amazed at how adept you are with that thumb. Acts just like your own hand. Nice cleanup.
Good luck on the Japanese stilt grass control. It's a very invasive weed. I think it will eventually spread across the US. If you look close, it will be going to seed shortly and billions of more seeds will be on your land. I have it just about all over my 25 acres in Virginia. The biggest problem is it crowds out all other small plants from starting.
Mike, I have a question on how you operate the curl with the thumb. Kubota sets up the pressure on the thumb to be lower then the bucket curl in order to prevent bending parts and damaging. When you curl with the thumb extended, do you retract the thumb or let the bucket overcome the force of the thumb?
And Tube Steaks too!
Great video Mike and Melissa. Your place is looking so good. Great work on the trackhoe 👍❤️
Glad to see the clearing project back. I asked about it in a previous video a week or two ago. Haha. That was a great brush fire.
I don't enjoy burning brush, but I sure love the satisfaction of looking around after it's done and seeing how much I get rid of. I only do it 2-3 times per year, usually about a month after it get's annoying to look at the piles. Don't know why I put it off as long as I do, but I love getting it done!
Hot and humid here in Nova Scotia Thanks 🙏 for the video on my 12hr shift ❤
Hey mike if you have a receiver hitch mounted on your blade of your excavator you could trailer to the woods and bring back logs
Odly satisfying watching those stumps go. Looks great. Thanks for sharing.
The new furniture will look good around the new pool.
Working on the burn pile, making homemade burgers on the new table and enjoying the forest. Mike, now THAT'S living! BTW, Mike, how's the leg doing. Stay safe. Thank God for the Morgan's.
Leg is doing good, black and blue is clearing up now in the yellow stage of healing lol
Making the clearing in the woods would be a great project and will be awesome to have
Love your property the trail to get to the future meadow is really nice little drive. I heard you say something about mini cabin br a cool getaway without really leaving home. Love the Shop patio furniture what is it made out of is there a brand name on it
Enjoy watching you make that machine do exactly what you want it to do - great results!
Always amazed me being from the sticks, we ate breakfast, dinner and supper. City folks ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. 🤣😂
Mike what will you spray on the stilt grass? I have it growing in my backyard and would like to slow it down and get rid of it. Clearing project, furniture and dinner all look good. Stay safe.
Looking forward to the next news letter. Stay safe.
Nice looking picnic table
Well, old boy, you can tell that's not your first brush pile fire. That excavator sure makes short work of that job. Really looking good 👍🏻.
It's mesmerizing watching you do all that clearing work and burn pile Mike.
Very enjoyable to watch you master that big orange machine and make child's play of all those downed trees and stumps. You make it look very easy .it looks like alot of fun too. To have that kind of work to look forward to has to be so cool.
Thanks for sharing it with all of us.
LOOKING GOOD OVER THERE
That machine is so incredibly handy for that kind of work.
Nice You Got Rain Enough So You Could Work On Burning Up The Brush And Stumps!! Nice clean Up Day Got A Lot Done!!
Evening Hot Coals Nice For A Hot Dog Roast!!
Keep Smiling On!!
😄👍👊❤️
Life just doesn't get any better than this: a pile of brush to burn, an excavator to play with, three beautiful dogs, and a very talented wife.
You are very good with all that equipment! Nice job. KC Don 😉
Your videos are so satisfying to watch!! Love the excavator work!!
Good Sunday morning Morgan family! Have a great week!
Love the time-lapse sections of the clean-up/burn pit. Another great video - thanks!
Watching the excavator track back and forward can be darned mesmerising.
Beautiful stump removals. I wish I had an excavator.
Melissa is an awesome helper. She rocks !!
Thank you
Mike what about the ammo cabinet???
Looks good with all the stumps gone.
I hear pre-emergent for crabgrass will prevent stilt grass from coming up in the spring
All of the patio furniture looks great with the building colors and I’m sure is comfy too.
Hey Melissa, check out "hinge cutting".
It may answer your question regarding the green leaves on the downed trees.
It does not take much for a tree to keep it's leaves when they are broke.
When I hinge cut, I am cutting two thirds of the way through a tree and bending it to the ground.
As long as there is a bit of the trunk, with the cambium layer intact, there will be enough to feed the tree tops.
Good job on the meadow looking good l would like to learn how run excavator some day should name it hunters meadow.
Just sat here with a massive 🇬🇧thunderstorm Lightning and all the whistle and bells Enjoying your video Great stuff guys 👍💕🕊️
hi there good show you made me hungry , john
That must be so satisfying. Stilt grass is awful. Hope you can keep it back from your clearing. The patio is looking so nice. Loved being out in the woods today. Thanks, Mike.👍🚜❤️🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸
I've often wondered what kind of Maple you have in your timber. Around my area, most all Maple is Silver Maple. Not the best firewood, but nice to have some in the mix for shorter burns.
nothing like clearing..looking good
Hey Mike, you have really been cranking out the videos lately. This is one longtime subscriber who really appreciates it and I always look forward to being informed and entertained. Thanks for all the interesting content!
That new picnic table is nice!, they make real nice outdoor furniture!. You got a lot of brush burnt up quick!, looks like you will get that area cleaned up in no time at all!.
Melissa kept on exercising it will pay off in the long run, I stopped at 55 and started back up at 62 and I never should of stopped!.
That looks like a great area for a vegetable garden if you have a water source nearby. You do have pond water and the ICB’s. It would certainly need to be fenced with all of the critters!
Mike.. you should think about a trailer for the water tank so you can tow behind the side by side ..
would love to let our Goldens run through our property like that, just too afraid of ticks and then having to bath them every time before going back in the house is a lot. great excavator work.
It's going to be beautiful! 👍
Good morning all! I was wondering when you would be back to clearing.
Hey Mike! Maybe they should get you to go to Cali and Canada and give them some lessons on forestry stewardship. 😂
best video in a while like when you are working
Stumps get smaller when they are in the fire. Blessings
Love the patio and the furnishings but what it really needs is that pool. Do you have any updates on the status of the pool?
That’s an awesome picnic table. I like the fact you can’t see any screws in the top. Very nice. 😊👍
Hi, as long as there's moisture enough. A cut tree will produce leaves and fruit if left long enough. One of the places I pass regularly had cut a huge tree. They left it lay for several years. It had leaves every year until the finally got it cut up.
One two week trip, with horses, in the mountains makes up for all that.
Mike. My neighbor and I had about 50 trees taken down for lumber over the last couple weeks. I was surprised what they are paying for good oak and chestnut oak. They normally leave the tops for firewood, we may have a neighborhood bonfire party in a few weeks with all the limbs.
That meadow looks like a good place for a barndominium ;-)
mike you made such great choice getting the excavator. J.R.
It’s quite satisfying watching your fast motion videos clearing your future meadow area! My husband loves that piece of equipment you on your excavator! He’s tried to find one for his but isn’t having any luck! My son is a salesman for Genelco and even he has inquired and we can’t find one! Any ideas?
It looks really good!
Good after morning 😸 to Hunter 👋👋 and family and friends 😸😺
Hi BadCat!
@@davidmorse8432 / Hi there David 👋😺 , hope your weekend was good😸
It's going to be from 107 F to 117 F for the next week and a half here in Arizona.
Enjoy your nice weather!!
Good Mountaineer Morning to the Morgan's. Loving your cabin in the West Virginia hills!!
Mike that was funny axle ran in behind archie, he turned out a pretty dog, have a good evening
👍👍👍👍👍👌Very enjoyable video and so much accomplished very productive and wonderful day so much beauty in your land , and showing the work it takes to maintain it all you both have done well, great food, fire and enjoyment of your day!!!
I have always liked a good fire for cleaning up brush and unwanted wood.
Hi Mike you spend a lot time in the woods do you have any ticks there. We do here in central Pa more then ever this year .
You got ol' Jack Burton and the Pork Chop Express! 🤪
Good morning Mike the picnic table looks awesome
Try taking an existing tote, modify it as you did with new new one. THEN add a new rail part way back on the top. You won’t have to duck under the front rail as you stack. As for securing it, the bottom of the tote has more substance to it, is there a way to use your chain/clip there?
Good morning Morgan's nothing like living the dream regardless of what life throws you, keep up the good work things are looking great
That's so awesome brother. That to me is fun, not work😂🤷♂️ I can do stuff like that allday long. Those ammo boxes are great to have that's for sure.
GOOD SUNDAY MORNING EVERYONE!!!….making nice progress Mike! Love the over head shots with the drone. Really adds a whole new perspective. Unbelievable how much that brush/wood pile slowly disappeared. Stand by to trigger the left wing lunatics…Lol
I’m hungry now looking at them burgers cooking. I bet Melissa enjoys you cooking & giving her a break. Great addition with the picnic table.
Keep up the great work.
Have a day
Hello Huntman 😊
Good morning Jack.
Hey Jack!
Excellent job and video Mike and Melissa, also the poochies ❤😊😮
Great work as always Mike, you a natural on that excavator.
Why did you not make firework out of some of that smaller stuff? Just curious!
I've been rolling around on the ground for the past 30 years on my own, and the years before that in the Army just about every morning. Over 50 and still can touch the ground with the palms of my hands and having my legs locked. Never discount stretching in the morning, too many of my friends from high school cannot even touch their toes. 30 year graduation parties kinda show that. Plus, it gives you time to think about what needs to be done the rest of the day.
Good morning, barely! Sitting here on the porch listening to thunder roll impressively. Rained very hard for a half hour or so and has only slowed down a little. But it’s not as noisy as it was, when I had to jack volume up near max to hear Mike and Melissa.
Sunday morning coffee watching "Outdoors with the Morgan's ".. I really enjoy watching you cleaning up the storm damage, you have some great property and it's nice to see you working at keeping the messes cleaned up. The cabin ideas are coming along nicely too...going to a beautiful and comfortable getaway ! 👍👍❤️❤️
The way the trees are laying down almost suggest a "micro burst" happened. Common eastern Canada northern Ontario. Often confused as a small tornado, but tend to be in a small area, then gone.
That bio char would be great addition to your soil in new clearing
Happy Sunday Morgan family 😊😊😊😊
Oh btw love the fire starter!!!
Wow that little fire pit is so cool. I've never seen one before. Where did you buy that from? Lowes? I need to buy one. Thank yall. Always enjoy your videos. Many blessings and best of health to you all and your families
Agreed. Looks like something I would like to have. Not toddler friendly though.
It's a Breo ( sp?)
I hope you call that on to burn!!
Every time you work in the woods I miss my property more and more. ☹️
