Thank you for preaching the truth, as hard as it is sometimes. Oh God, I see why the rapture hasn’t happened yet. God is truly long suffering and he doesn’t want any of us to go to Hell! It’s a real place, and the deniers can make excuses and say there is no hell all they want to, but it’s still there and if you have not been saved your still going. Please I beg if anyone is watching this and you don’t know Jesus as your savior please, please call out to him now!! Please give him a chance, because he is our only way! That when God Almighty Himself wipes away tears.....He will also wipe away the memory of the lost forever more Its mind boggling to think the only ones that will have a complete picture are the eternally lost. In the third heaven. God is all powerful and can put places and things anywhere He wants. It’s amazing! A literal translation of the original written Greek text of the NT does NOT mention "hell" at all. Jesus never said the word "hell" in the gospels. When he spoke of the destination of unbelievers, he said the word "Gehenna". Gehenna means the Valley of Hinnom. It was a real place in Jerusalem that was a garbage dump that burned day and night. Corpses of criminals were dumped there and these bodies would burn and be eaten by worms. Years before the birth of Jesus, it was a place used for sacrificing children to the pagan god Molech. The Jews in Jesus' time saw the place as evil and a place that the souls of the wicked would be sent to be tormented but the torment would be corrective in nature and would last for about 12 months, not an eternity. Moreover, the word in the Greek text that was translated into "eternal" in the English Bibles was "aion", which means an "age" or "age-during". An age is not eternity. Further, the Greek word "kolasis" from the original text that was translated into "punishment" in the English Bibles does mean punishment, but it is corrective punishment, not retributive punishment. "Eternal punishment" in the English Bibles would be a more accurate translation of the original Greek texts if it said "corrective punishment for an age". This is NOT eternal punishment. If you do not believe me you can look this up yourselves.

The soul was never created to desist from existing. If it were not so then Lucifer would not be alive. So let us assume they are freed after 1 billion years, would God bring them into heaven to live with the same God most have hated? Hellfire itself would no longer exist then so where will they be cast? It is scary and beyond human comprehension. But Jesus does not mince words. When we sin against an eternal creator, we must be punished eternally. It’s one of the reasons why Jesus had to be the one to save us and give us an opportunity to be saved. He is eternal and took our punishment for us. When we accept His sacrifice and believe in the beauty of what He did, trusting in Him to save us, we are covered in His blood. That is why we can now go into the presence of a holy God, who cannot be in the presence of sin. We are covered in Jesus. We are looked at as righteous because He is righteous and can then be in heaven with God forever. When we reject Jesus or His truth, we must accept the wrath of God’s judgement for our own sins, and serve our sentence personally.
He is giving a very thorough message about hell but what puzzles me here is that this guy is telling us that punishing in hell is forever and will never end. So, I will begin here with the Apostles Paul's statement in the book of Romans. He says...."For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23). This is a very powerful statement here and needs careful examination as to what this means. Jesus spoke many times in the gospels that he came to bring eternal or everlasting life to those who believe in him. That was one of the main reasons why he came into this world. He conquered death so we can gain eternal life through him. It would seem to me that Jesus is telling anyone who believes in him will gain eternal life and without him....We do not have eternal life! Because we have the knowledge of Good and Evil, we are born in this world as mortal beings, not having an immortal soul or having eternal life but only death awaits us (Gen. 2:17). But somehow in our Christian teaching of eternal punishing in hell, we know it will come to us only after our death, and somehow we possess some kind of eternal life where we are kept alive being tormented in hell forever? As Paul plainly tells us that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus....Without Jesus it would seem what Paul is saying all unrepentant persons would have is the wages of eternal death. But how can an unrepentant person be tormented alive forever after his death when eternal life is a gift from God through Jesus? So if a person who has this gift would not even be in hell because of his faith in Jesus. So, how do we have an everlasting or eternal life being tormented in hell forever if eternal life is the only gift by God through Jesus after death? Unless somehow in some way a person has some kind of eternal life outside the authority of the gift from God which we don't. Having the gift of eternal life through Jesus and being tormented in hell alive forever is not truly biblical and to say anything other than what I have explained here....Is not biblical at all! The Lake of Fire is a death (second) after judgment, not an eternal torment having an eternal life that lasts forever. So, I am believing the most merciful, loving and just thing to be done is for God to annihilate the unrepentant person in the Lake of Fire and death is the eternal punishment....Not an eternal punishing forever! Back then if something didn't have a purpose it "didn't exist." A Jew who married a gentile was "dead" not just because they dismissed themselves from the community but also because the Jew was denying their role, honor, responsibility, and purpose AS a Jew through marriage to a gentile. Because their purpose was abandoned they were dead despite being alive. Hell is described as eternal death. It's not eternal life. Eternal life is the permanent, everlasting true experience and expression of the fullness of our purpose: service, love, and worship to God. Eternal death is the eternal absence of that purpose: complete separation from God. Existing isn't the same as life. There are other proposed explanations, but they're hard to find. Just keep asking with humility and take any answer you are given as brainstorming. I caution you against getting dogmatic on any perspective you find yourself comfortable with because it's not a topic the Bible has an interest in explaining. One verse here and one verse there, but each perspective will use the same verses to support their views. So when you hear something that seems to answer your curiosity hold it loosely and have the humility to accept that we won't understand until we see it. I'm half Egyptian and already have some cultural background for understanding the concept that something outside of its purpose doesn't exist. It's a concept that's still alive in the middle East and Africa. Probably a version is also understood in India. The concept is foreign to the west because we understand that things exist even if they're doing nothing or are even theoretical, but ancient Israel especially had a different cultural perspective. Message of hell does not save anyone, just leaves people in fear. It is the good news ie death, burial, and resurrection of Christ that is to preached so that people receive eternal life as a gift not reward

When people die they immediately go to Hell (Sheol) or the grave. No one goes to Heaven or Hellfire when they die. The judgement hasn’t happened yet. We rest in the grave and wait for Jesus to come get us at the second coming.
There’s no such thing as soul sleep, so your comment is unbiblical. If what you are saying is true, then why is the rich man in hell conscious, thirsty, burning, talking, and remembers his life? Abraham is there and conversing with him in return. Jesus looked at the saved thief on the cross and said, “You shall be with me this day in paradise.” Also, Jesus transfigured into His glorified body and met up with Moses and Elijah on that mountain too, witnessed by Peter, John, and more apostles. None of them are asleep in the ground. And don’t forget, Jesus died too. He isn’t waiting for judgement day to return to the right hand of His Father in heaven. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. When we die, we are taken to heaven or lift up our eyes in hell. We must rely on what God’s word says. Jesus was wonderful at teaching us the truth.
Plus, as far as Jesus coming to get us? He’s actually going to bring the saints who’ve passed on and we’re with Him in heaven BACK with Him during the rapture, so they get their bodies back and are glorified! We saved, who are alive and waiting, are then taken up and our bodies are transformed into our glorified bodies too! We will meet the Lord in the clouds and return with Him to heaven until it’s time for the second coming. All of us return with the Lord and He actually touches down on the mount of olives at His second coming! The antichrist and false prophet will be thrown alive into the lake of fire and Satan will be chained and thrown into the abyss for the 1000 year millennial reign of Christ!

No where in the bible does it say we go to Heaven when we die. The parable of The Rich man and Lazarus is a parable. It is a fictitious story. On the cross Jesus did not say "You shall be with me this day in paradise.” He said "“Assuredly, I say to you today, you will be with Me in Paradise.” He was assuring the thief that day that some day he would be in paradise. Jesus did not go to Heaven for 40 days after the cross and the thief lasted for days before he died. Moses and Elijah are the only two people in Heaven and they both came down transfigured for a short time and then went back up. Peter, James, and John are all resting in the grave right now. Jesus died and was resurrected three days later. He is in Heaven at the right hand of the father waiting for judgement day at the second coming. When Paul said "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" he did not say immediately. He was saying that he would rather be in his new body but he is waiting for the second coming when he receives it. We have to read God's word carefully or we will misunderstand it.

The rapture and the second coming are the same event on the same day. All who have died wait in the grave until Jesus comes back. At the second coming, Jesus comes down and the dead rise first and then the living rise up to meet them in the air (rapture) at the same time. Jesus' feet never touch the ground. We are then taken up to Heaven for the millennium in Heaven. It does not happen on Earth since the Earth is destroyed. AFTER the millennium, Jesus comes back down with all of the saints and the Great White Throne Judgement happens. The wicked are then thrown into the lake of fire and destroyed completely. Then Jesus recreates the New Heavens and the New Earth. That is the proper order of biblical events.

The King James Bible says in Luke 16 that the rich man lift up his eyes not lifted. When you use the past tense it implies that he's no longer in hell which is not true. 12 times in Matthew, Mark, and Luke Jesus Christ himself preaches on Hell Fire which is gehenna in the Greek which is the Lake of Fire so it is mentioned more than just once in the Book of Revelation. Also you need to be more clear on the Casual throwing around the word repent. Repentance for salvation is believing the gospel not turning from sin. This Doctrine is too casually referred to.

The word “hell” isn’t and never was a biblical word. The actual word “hell” never came out of the mouth of Jesus Christ. Hell was translated from the Hebrew word, “shĕ’owl” (31 times) and the Greek word(s) “hadēs” (10 times), “geenna” (12 times), and “tartaroō” (1 time). The King James Version is the only English translation in modern use to translate shĕ’owl, hadēs, geenna, and tartaroō as hell. This fact alone should tell you that something is just not right about this word.

This is ridiculous. Having grown up in a IFB church and being a former professing christian, I used to believe all this stuff. Fortunately, I decided to look at my beliefs logically, and I came to the realization that hell can't be real if the Bible is true. The foundation of all religious beliefs is that an eternal punishment is guaranteed for those who do not follow that groups rules and regulations. Once you can break free from the l that hell is real, life becomes better and simpler. I hope that nobody actually takes this message to heart.

But you go to a sorta a holding areas that has two sides to it! One side is where Abraham and Mosses and all the Souls that overcame like Lazarus who knew GOD loved him also Jesus Christ our savior! Thease Souls are now ready to go to the entirety because they have made the first resccuration where Death has no power over them! Side 2 is where the rich man went to a place where darkness and gloom are there 24 hours a day and 7 days a week! This areas are called pariadise, two sides with a huge crater in between called the gulf Luke Chapter 16 V 22-28 and the following tells what it is like in the area! That's why the rich man begged Abraham to send him back to his brothers and sisters and friends to warn them! Because if they saw Lazarus they would believe and would change their ways ! His name Jesus Christ! When Jesus Christ returns for the second time when his feet touch down on the mount of Olives every person will be changed into a Soritual body good bad and ugly 2d Chorth. Chapter 15 V 52-58 we will be changed in a blink of a eye; at that time the Millieain begins Lasting for 1000 years where Teaching and disapline will be the order of the day! The gap between pariadise is now closed! Souls from the good side can now go help the ones on the bad side! If someone REALTIVES are still having a hard time finding the right way to go one of the elect will come over and give help Ezekiel Chapter 44 V 25-8 following tells of I t ! After the 1000 years are over then Satan comes out of the pit will have one more chance to get the souls to come over to his side then the white thrown Judgement will occur if you've not have your name in the book of life then you and Satan will go into the lake of fire 🔥 never to be thought of again! These preachers are doing their jobs. And they’re doing that because they love others and want them saved! Jesus was a fire and brimstone preacher too, where do you think we learned about how and what to teach on? Repentance and forgiveness is always a part of a true, god-fearing, Holy Spirit inspired man of God. Everything in God’s word should be taught. But Jesus taught on hell more than on heaven because He created it for satan and his angels and knows exactly what it is about. He wants none of us to be lost.

The doctine of mankind having an immortal soul came through Greek paganism by Plato and Aristotle and not from Israel or the Hebrew nation, nor the early church. Because the Greek pagans had no message of the resurrection from the dead, having an immortal soul that last forever after death made sense to them. There was no bodily resurrection in Greek religious philosophy. The later church adopted this from Greek pagan liturature and made it a false truth but don't take my word for it. Look this up in a bible dictionary under the word death or search this out for yourself like I did. In my book "Illustrated Dictionary & Concordance of the Bible says...."The notion that at death the soul departs from the body is totally foriegn to the bible since body and soul are regarded as a single indivisible entity in both life and death. Hence, the Hebrew Bible refers to both the living (e.g. Gen.2:7) and the dead (e.g. Lev.21:1) as a "nephesh." This is traditionally translated as "soul" in English, but perhaps is better rendered as "person" or "being" (Gen. 2:7). There was not truly an English word that could match the Hebrew "nephesh" as the life and being of mankind so early biblical scholars placed "soul" in it's place. You will be surprised when I found this out just as I was!

@peace and love 51 Ezekiel 18:4 tells us that "the soul who sins is the one that will die". if a souls can die, it can not be immortal. Thiis has nothing to do with soul sleep as soul sleep is not in the bible. If we are already born with an immortal soul, then Jesus would not need to come and bring us everlasting or immortal life. We already have an immortal soul at birth and that is not scriptural. According to Israel and the Hebrew nation, the soul has different meaning than most churches teach. The difinition of soul in this early culture was simply meaning a living person, a living soul that has life because given the breath of life and and the physical body as one unit of being a living soul.

A literal translation of the original written Greek text of the NT does NOT mention "hell" at all. Jesus never said the word "hell" in the gospels. When he spoke of the destination of unbelievers, he said the word "Gehenna". Gehenna means the Valley of Hinnom. It was a real place in Jerusalem that was a garbage dump that burned day and night. Corpses of criminals were dumped there and these bodies would burn and be eaten by worms. Years before the birth of Jesus, it was a place used for sacrificing children to the pagan god Molech. The Jews in Jesus' time saw the place as evil and a place that the souls of the wicked would be sent to be tormented but the torment would be corrective in nature and would last for about 12 months, not an eternity. Moreover, the word in the Greek text that was translated into "eternal" in the English Bibles was "aion", which means an "age" or "age-during". An age is not eternity. Further, the Greek word "kolasis" from the original text that was translated into "punishment" in the English Bibles does mean punishment, but it is corrective punishment, not retributive punishment. "Eternal punishment" in the English Bibles would be a more accurate translation of the original Greek texts if it said "corrective punishment for an age". This is NOT eternal punishment. If you do not believe me you can look this up yourselves.

When we sin against an eternal creator, we must be punished eternally. It’s one of the reasons why Jesus had to be the one to save us and give us an opportunity to be saved. He is eternal and took our punishment for us. When we accept His sacrifice and believe in the beauty of what He did, trusting in Him to save us, we are covered in His blood. That is why we can now go into the presence of a holy God, who cannot be in the presence of sin. We are covered in Jesus. We are looked at as righteous because He is righteous and can then be in heaven with God forever. When we reject Jesus or His truth, we must accept the wrath of God’s judgement for our own sins, and serve our sentence personally.

He is giving a very thorough message about hell but what puzzles me here is that this guy is telling us that punishing in hell is forever and will never end. So, I will begin here with the Apostles Paul's statement in the book of Romans. He says...."For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord" (Rom. 6:23). This is a very powerful statement here and needs careful examination as to what this means. Jesus spoke many times in the gospels that he came to bring eternal or everlasting life to those who believe in him. That was one of the main reasons why he came into this world. He conquered death so we can gain eternal life through him. It would seem to me that Jesus is telling anyone who believes in him will gain eternal life and without him....We do not have eternal life! Because we have the knowledge of Good and Evil, we are born in this world as mortal beings, not having an immortal soul or having eternal life but only death awaits us (Gen. 2:17). But somehow in our Christian teaching of eternal punishing in hell, we know it will come to us only after our death, and somehow we possess some kind of eternal life where we are kept alive being tormented in hell forever? As Paul plainly tells us that the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus....Without Jesus it would seem what Paul is saying all unrepentant persons would have is the wages of eternal death. But how can an unrepentant person be tormented alive forever after his death when eternal life is a gift from God through Jesus? So if a person who has this gift would not even be in hell because of his faith in Jesus. So, how do we have an everlasting or eternal life being tormented in hell forever if eternal life is the only gift by God through Jesus after death? Back then if something didn't have a purpose it "didn't exist." A Jew who married a gentile was "dead" not just because they dismissed themselves from the community but also because the Jew was denying their role, honor, responsibility, and purpose AS a Jew through marriage to a gentile. Because their purpose was abandoned they were dead despite being alive.
Hell is described as eternal death. It's not eternal life. Eternal life is the permanent, everlasting true experience and expression of the fullness of our purpose: service, love, and worship to God. Eternal death is the eternal absence of that purpose: complete separation from God.
Existing isn't the same as life.
There are other proposed explanations, but they're hard to find. Just keep asking with humility and take any answer you are given as brainstorming. I caution you against getting dogmatic on any perspective you find yourself comfortable with because it's not a topic the Bible has an interest in explaining. One verse here and one verse there, but each perspective will use the same verses to support their views. So when you hear something that seems to answer your curiosity hold it loosely and have the humility to accept that we won't understand until we see it.
I'm half Egyptian and already have some cultural background for understanding the concept that something outside of its purpose doesn't exist. It's a concept that's still alive in the middle East and Africa. Probably a version is also understood in India. The concept is foreign to the west because we understand that things exist even if they're doing nothing or are even theoretical, but ancient Israel especially had a different cultural perspective. Message of hell does not save anyone, just leaves people in fear. It is the good news ie death, burial, and resurrection of Christ that is to preached so that people receive eternal life as a gift not reward

When people die they immediately go to Hell (Sheol) or the grave. No one goes to Heaven or Hellfire when they die. The judgement hasn’t happened yet. We rest in the grave and wait for Jesus to come get us at the second coming.

Abraham is there and conversing with him in return. Jesus looked at the saved thief on the cross and said, “You shall be with me this day in paradise.” Also, Jesus transfigured into His glorified body and met up with Moses and Elijah on that mountain too, witnessed by Peter, John, and more apostles. None of them are asleep in the ground. And don’t forget, Jesus died too. He isn’t waiting for judgement day to return to the right hand of His Father in heaven. To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. When we die, we are taken to heaven or lift up our eyes in hell. We must rely on what God’s word says. He’s actually going to bring the saints who’ve passed on and we’re with Him in heaven BACK with Him during the rapture, so they get their bodies back and are glorified! We saved, who are alive and waiting, are then taken up and our bodies are transformed into our glorified bodies too! We will meet the Lord in the clouds and return with Him to heaven until it’s time for the second coming. All of us return with the Lord and He actually touches down on the mount of olives at His second coming! The antichrist and false prophet will be thrown alive into the lake of fire and Satan will be chained and thrown into the abyss for the 1000 year millennial reign of Christ!

No where in the bible does it say we go to Heaven when we die. The parable of The Rich man and Lazarus is a parable. It is a fictitious story. On the cross Jesus did not say "You shall be with me this day in paradise.” He said "“Assuredly, I say to you today, you will be with Me in Paradise.” He was assuring the thief that day that some day he would be in paradise. Jesus did not go to Heaven for 40 days after the cross and the thief lasted for days before he died. Moses and Elijah are the only two people in Heaven and they both came down transfigured for a short time and then went back up. Peter, James, and John are all resting in the grave right now. Jesus died and was resurrected three days later. He is in Heaven at the right hand of the father waiting for judgement day at the second coming. When Paul said "To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord" he did not say immediately. He was saying that he would rather be in his new body but he is waiting for the second coming when he receives it. We have to read God's word carefully or we will misunderstand it.

The rapture and the second coming are the same event on the same day. All who have died wait in the grave until Jesus comes back. At the second coming, Jesus comes down and the dead rise first and then the living rise up to meet them in the air (rapture) at the same time. Jesus' feet never touch the ground. We are then taken up to Heaven for the millennium in Heaven. It does not happen on Earth since the Earth is destroyed. AFTER the millennium, Jesus comes back down with all of the saints and the Great White Throne Judgement happens. The wicked are then thrown into the lake of fire and destroyed completely. Then Jesus recreates the New Heavens and the New Earth. That is the proper order of biblical events.

The King James Bible says in Luke 16 that the rich man lift up his eyes not lifted. When you use the past tense it implies that he's no longer in hell which is not true. 12 times in Matthew, Mark, and Luke Jesus Christ himself preaches on Hell Fire which is gehenna in the Greek which is the Lake of Fire so it is mentioned more than just once in the Book of Revelation. Also you need to be more clear on the Casual throwing around the word repent. Repentance for salvation is believing the gospel not turning from sin. This Doctrine is too casually referred to.

The word “hell” isn’t and never was a biblical word. The actual word “hell” never came out of the mouth of Jesus Christ. Hell was translated from the Hebrew word, “shĕ’owl” (31 times) and the Greek word(s) “hadēs” (10 times), “geenna” (12 times), and “tartaroō” (1 time). The King James Version is the only English translation in modern use to translate shĕ’owl, hadēs, geenna, and tartaroō as hell. This fact alone should tell you that something is just not right about this word.

This is ridiculous. Having grown up in a IFB church and being a former professing christian, I used to believe all this stuff. Fortunately, I decided to look at my beliefs logically, and I came to the realization that hell can't be real if the Bible is true. The foundation of all religious beliefs is that an eternal punishment is guaranteed for those who do not follow that groups rules and regulations. Once you can break free from the l that hell is real, life becomes better and simpler. I hope that nobody actually takes this message to heart.

These preachers are doing their jobs. And they’re doing that because they love others and want them saved! Jesus was a fire and brimstone preacher too, where do you think we learned about how and what to teach on? Repentance and forgiveness is always a part of a true, god-fearing, Holy Spirit inspired man of God. Everything in God’s word should be taught. But Jesus taught on hell more than on heaven because He created it for satan and his angels and knows exactly what it is about. He wants none of us to be lost.
Yes, Hell is real. Hell is outside of the Universe and were the Angels are going to be punished. The Lake of Fire and Brimstone is what the Angels and their leaders the Lord of hosts and his son are trying to turn earth into. Those in the Book of Life are the names of the Angels whom they have sent here and they want them back, after they are killed and sent to Hell.

The doctine of mankind having an immortal soul came through Greek paganism by Plato and Aristotle and not from Israel or the Hebrew nation, nor the early church. Because the Greek pagans had no message of the resurrection from the dead, having an immortal soul that last forever after death made sense to them. There was no bodily resurrection in Greek religious philosophy. The later church adopted this from Greek pagan liturature and made it a false truth but don't take my word for it. Look this up in a bible dictionary under the word death or search this out for yourself like I did. In my book "Illustrated Dictionary & Concordance of the Bible says...."The notion that at death the soul departs from the body is totally foriegn to the bible since body and soul are regarded as a single indivisible entity in both life and death. Hence, the Hebrew Bible refers to both the living (e.g. Gen.2:7) and the dead (e.g. Lev.21:1) as a "nephesh." This is traditionally translated as "soul" in English, but perhaps is better rendered as "person" or "being" (Gen. 2:7). There was not truly an English word that could match the Hebrew "nephesh" as the life and being of mankind so early biblical scholars placed "soul" in it's place. You will be surprised when I found this out just as I was!

Hell is the grave. Sheol means “the grave”. Hellfire is where the wicked suffer the second death. Jesus described it as Gehenna which was the town trash dump fire. No one burns eternally. The Bible says it will be eternal punishment, not eternal punishing. The effects are eternal, not the burning.

Hell, which is currently a holding cell, will be thrown into the eternal lake of fire during the great white throne judgement along with death. And if death is thrown into the lake, how will anyone stop existing after that? He said they will be there forever, will have no rest day or night, and the smoke of their torment will go up for ever and ever. We were created to glorify, praise, worship, and love God forever. When Adan sinned, he brought death into the world, as a penalty for sin. So, it is meant for men to die once, and the. The judgement. Sheol means "the grave". Sheol is ONE place, not two. Nothing in the bible says that those who have died have gone to Heaven. It says that they have gone to the grave. The bible does not say that Hell exists right now. It says that Hell will be created after the Great White Throne Judgement. See Revelation 20:9. Hellfire comes out of Heaven and creates Hell at that time. The bible does not say that man will be tormented in Hell forever. It says that the punishment (death) will be forever, not the punishing (torment). The wicked have no rest until they are burned up completely. See John 3:16. The wicked PERISH (die). The verse that says it is appointed for men to die once, then the judgement does not say immediately after you die.

No, the burning is eternal. Everyone is gonna receive new, incorruptible bodies on judgment day. Those who go into the lake of fire will be tormented non-stop forever. They’ll never be able to die.
Why do most ministers intertwine the words between Hell and Hades? That should not be! When scriptures says hades, it should be left as hades. When the bible says hell, let it be hell, but don't intertwine the these two words as this is not speaking the truth from scripture. The rich man in Luke is not hell, it is hades and if you can not speak properly the truth of scripture, than you can be wrong on many other subjects and you are not speaking the truth!

This preacher believes in an immortal soul that survives at death and tormented in hell. I would not believe anything he preaches because he believes in the immortal soul and having an immortal soul is not in scripture. He does not speak the truth!

@peace and love 51 Ezekiel 18:4 tells us that "the soul who sins is the one that will die". if a souls can die, it can not be immortal. Thiis has nothing to do with soul sleep as soul sleep is not in the bible. If we are already born with an immortal soul, then Jesus would not need to come and bring us everlasting or immortal life. We already have an immortal soul at birth and that is not scriptural. According to Israel and the Hebrew nation, the soul has different meaning than most churches teach. The difinition of soul in this early culture was simply meaning a living person, a living soul that has life because given the breath of life and and the physical body as one unit of being a living soul.
