I love them they are my favourite airline
Yeah I like Jetstar too
Looking forward to some more food reviews on your other channel
More to come! I was hoping to make some food reviews up in Cairns next weekend but now the Queensland border is closed again I am stuck in Sydney for awhile. Hope I can make some new food videos soon
I like Jetstar because of its lighting
Interesting.
Jetstar is the best!
Yeah I am a big supporter of Jetstar! Thanks for watching
Hahaha, great to finally see your face mate
Thanks. Hope I don't scare any subscribers away. I got a good head for radio....hahahaha
THanks reminds me of when I used to live in the Gold Coast I can't wait to move back there one day. Canada sucks.
Oh man I feel for you! Must be getting cold in Canada! Summer is coming in Australia and the Gold Coast is the place to be! I live in Sydney but plan to retire on the Gold Coast. Great weather all year round
love your videos
Thank you so much. love your comments ;)
In June 28th I'm flying with jetstar for the first time. Heading to the Gold Coast
Gold Coast is one of my favourite holiday destinations in Australia!
It has been 6 years since I flew on Jetstar it was between Melbourne and Auckland but hopefully as soon as the borders open I will straight away fly to my favourite destinations with Jetstar or TigerAir
I am watching for announcements for borders to open especially some overseas destinations. I am guessing it may not be this year that we can travel overseas
I approve this new style 👍
Glad you like it! I finally built up the courage for a full face reveal
NowGetThere And we all love it!
Would rather go to jail than fly Jetstar !! When they cancel flights under normal times...charge like a wounded bull for luggage etc...sadly they are a blot on the Australian aviation industry. Nice vision and sound on take off !! Gold Coast landings from the sea are always a ripper !! Thanks mate and stay well in these awful times !!
We may just be stuck with Qantas, Virgin and Jetstar the only budget airline to choose from.
Interesting times
Also loved the new vid style - thanks for posting this
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow I really Like The video Style, Please do more! Good one mate
Thank you so much. It is great to get feedback on the new format. More reviews are coming soon. The return flight From Gold Coast to Sydney I'll post up on Saturday morning
Ur a gd traveller im a new sub
Welcome aboard!
Love
Thanks
Jetstar is my favourite budget airline in Australia with loads cheap fares
I like Jetstar as well. I do like flying on TigerAir but Jetstar have some many more routes across Australia and Internationally as well.
When the International borders open can you fly to Fiji, Auckland, Christchurch, Queenstown, Wellington and other places in New Zealand
Yep. I really want to go to Fiji as soon as the borders open. New Zealand as well or anywhere else in the South Pacific that is available to fly to.
If you were flying to New Zealand with Jetstar what places would you fly to?
@@rovinakumar2266 I want to visit Auckland. I lived there as a young child and want to see it now
Nice review :D and a full face review :p
Thanks! 😁 more to come
Nice one. 👍 Interesting to see Sydney Airport in the current circumstances.
I’ve never had a problem with Jetstar but a lot of people seem to have stories about cancelled flights or delays. Guess it comes down to luck and the fact they are a budget airline. Look forward to your next video.
Very true! I have never seen Sydney airport so quiet. Wait to see next video and how super quiet Gold Coast airport was on my return trip. Coolangatta Airport changing name to Ghost Town Airport.....
Thanks for watching.
Either you’re extremely rich or insane, the flight would’ve cost the same as leaving the Domestic train station. I love Jetstar, they have never disappointed me
I am a big fan of Jetstar. I fly them often
Yes, I always fly Jetstar because of the price. I buy food on the aircraft usually.
Nice one. i buy food onboard too. I usually just grab a sandwich or one of their toasted sandwiches
First view like and comment
Thank you. Glad you like
@@NowGetThere and now we well and truly know what you look like Scott. And to give you a big compliment, you are rather handsome 😀
If you think Jetstar is uncomfortable for traveling between Sydney and Perth, just wait until they start flying 14 hours from Sydney to London. The seats are standing room only and you get half a Tim Tam and a vegemite sandwich without any vegemite (that is, two slices of bread with nothing in between them). It will really make u truly appreciate the term ShitStar!
Hahahha and I guess they'll remove the toilets so they can fit more passengers ;)
Great video! I love Jetstar! Never had a problem with them
Glad to hear! Yeah I never had a problem with them either.
When the Melbourne borders open again really soon can you make some flight reviews onboard Jetstar flights between Sydney and Melbourne and to Adelaide and Brisbane
I am itching for all the borders in Australia to open. As soon as they do I will be flying everywhere in Australia. I think it will be a very long time before I can fly internationally so happy to fly around my own country.
I’ve never taken off in that direction. Interesting. I’ve landed on that runway many many times.
Most times I fly to the Gold Coast in the afternoon, takeoffs from Sydney are to the south. every now and then we take off to the north. all depends on the weather and wind conditions.
Jetstar
Yes Jetstar
Awesome video as always! Just wondering how/what were you questioned at the Gold Coast airport? When I arrived at Brisbane and Cairns on the 20th & 21st, I was asked if I've visited Vic (understandable) and NSW (???) in the past 14 days.
At Gold Coast airport, we were herded through the International arrivals border control and had to present the Queensland Border Declaration.
The guy just asked that I understood that I had confirmed on the form that if I developed any symptoms, that I would be have to be tested.
My fingers are crossed that the Qld border stays open as I got flights to Cairns booked in 2 weeks time.
Wet Coast might be more appropriate
Yeah it did rain all weekend I was there!
amazing video mate!!!!! can you please explain briefly the process of applying for the border pass and whither it's necessary or not ?
That Border Pass was a temporary process back in July when Queensland first opened their border. A few weeks later they closed their border again.
Now it depends where you live whether you can enter Queensland. The border is still closed to Victoria and people from Sydney. Maybe they will open in December and i think you will not need a border pass
@@NowGetThere I usually go every January from Sydney to Gold Coast but i'm not sure what the process is for this year. Anyway thanks for help 🙌!!
@@grove4life739 I think you should be good to go to Gold Coast in January. I heard on the news this morning that the Queensland Premiere will make an announcement of the borders opening at the end of November. I sure hope so. I plan a plane/train road trip through Queensland over Xmas/New Year
Nice vid and review I have been on Jetstar in my opinion they are average
Fair enough! They are a budget airline so hard to compare to a full service airline.
I fly with Jetstar often and they are a good cheap alternative for flying short routes around Australia and some international destinations. I've flown with them to Phuket, Bali and to Tokyo.
Thats cool what is it like on the 787
@@benandsamsaviation1269 Yeah the B787-8 Dreamliner is the best plane that Jetstar flies. I've never tried their Economy seats but their 'Business' class are quite good. Not real business class but cheap and comfortable.
Ok cool
I always worry that Jetstar is just "Discount Qantas", and if Virgin Australia were to die, Jetstar would suddenly be an International Carrier, and the only options would be to fly Qantas for $800 one way, or Rex for $700 via Ballina and a 2 hour layover. Of course Jetstar would need to compete with international airlines on those routes, so... good news for New Zealand and Bali flights I guess?
Anyhow I used to travel between Sydney and Melbourne quite often in the before times. TigerAir were always late, but I had no major complaints. Rarely travelled with any bags beyond my laptop case.
That said I was an early adopter to Jetstar, and was even at their Loading trials back in 2004 in their 717.
The Australian aviation industry is definitely going to change big time.
With the demise of Tiger Air, Jetstar will have no other budget airline competition in Australia so I doubt we will see super cheap airfares for a long time to come.
Rex Airlines are trying to buy / lease some jet airplanes (probably some of Virgin planes) to compete on the Sydney - Melbourne - Brisbane triangle routes starting some time next year. Not sure if the will be a budget airline or full service airline on these routes.
I am still patiently (not so patiently) waiting for the state borders to open in Australia so I can hit the skies again.
@@NowGetThere Stuck in Melbourne, can't even go 5km away from home, or outside at all after 9pm lol.
Oh sorry to hear! I will stop whinging about not being able to travel interstate :) .
I sure hope things open up again in Melbourne real soon. The numbers are getting real low in Melbourne so fingers crossed that comes true very soon.
I'm in Sydney and things here mostly back to normal (the new normal with social distancing)
Oh wow great video keep it up! I am here from One world flyer!
Welcome aboard! Thanks for making the jump over from One World Flyer. I love all of Jadyen's videos.
@@NowGetThere Yes that's true! It seems your channel is also quite successful!
@@LivingAviation I will check out your channel later today too. You have a lot of aviation videos which I love to watch
@@NowGetThere thanks a lot!
@@NowGetThere Also I dropped a sub! IDK if my sub will help you out lol!
Jetstar is great, idk why people don't like Jetstar! Nice new video style!
I know, right? I love Jetstar.
Nice video and nice face reveal! 😉
You're a natural!
Any plans to go elsewhere?
Thank you. Took many takes to look natural hahaha
I had flights booked for next weekend to go to Cairns but Queensland border now closed to people from Sydney so had to cancel. I am now looking at flights around NSW. I hope soon to try flights with Rex and Pelican Air which I have never flown with.
I've only ever flown on REX once, unfortunately for me that was a negative experience. I've flown on Pelican once as well and that was good!
Another good option is a flight on Doug Airways 😜✈
@@CJDJ1999 I would love to fly on Doug Airways sometime soon! I've met Captain Doug and he is a top bloke.
I have only ever taken off in a Cessna once but never landed!
I did a skydive up in Cessnock years ago so jumped out at 10000ft! Need to experience the landing in a Cessna too ;)
@@NowGetThere I've met Captain Doug as well. From what i've heard, he goes alright haha 😄
I'm keen to definitely sort something out, show you around the place and get some nice footage that i'm sure viewers would love to see! 😉
Hi, my dad and I fly jetstar a couple times a year, it is a very good airline and the service is amazing, on my flight back home to sydney they usually let me in the cockpit after the flight is over
That is very cool how you get to go see the cockpit!
I hope the borders open soon so you can go on holidays over Xmas summer holiday!
NowGetThere hey man thanks, i love your content man keep grinding, i know it’s hard with covid but yeah hopefully the borders open up. it’s always been my dream to do what you do man, inspirational
@@andrewk3256 Thanks so much. Feedback like this is very nice to receive.
I love flying and I love making these videos. If you keep watching them, i will keep making them.
Sure is frustrating right now not being able to fly interstate or overseas.
@@NowGetThere agreed, when is your next booked flight, i recenty watched your rex fligth from bsthurst, are you going to be doing more stuff like that, or starting to get back into interstate
flights
@@andrewk3256 Sadly I have no flights booked. I usually have a few booked in advance.
I am looking to go out to Dubbo, maybe catch the train there then fly back. I just need to find when I can go.
I think it will be awhile before the State borders open so need to get somewhere.
NowGetThere is sad when i cant get anywhere!
i'd rather qantas because on jetstar you have to buy food, drinks, inflight entertainment. and its a budget airline. and their staff were so rude to me and my family from melbourne to sydney and i am only 13!!!.
Yep Qantas is the full service airline so all included
First
Nice. Welcome to 1st!
Do you have a playlist of the Trip reports from Sydney to gold coast and vice versa Scott
